Stephen Curry admitted that his ankle is still not 100 percent healthy, but he plans to play on Monday.

"I still have a little way to get better, fully, but I can't do myself any damage," he said. "I can still heal it while I'm playing. The doctors all agree on that and the trainers." Curry said his ankle feels "stable," but admitted to "soreness other places than the ligaments." Curry's ankle will always be something to watch, but for now, it sounds like it's safe to keep him in the lineup. Curry's backup Jarrett Jack is a must-own player in every format.

Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will miss his fifth consecutive game on Saturday.

Mario Chalmers and Shabazz Napier should get all the minutes they can handle, especially with Norris Cole (hand) also doubtful to suit up. Miami's lack of depth will likely require bench guys like Shannon Brown, Danny Granger and James Ennis to step into significant roles as the Heat look to avoid their fifth loss in six games. Wade did some light work during shootaround and is questionable for Sunday's home game.

Taj Gibson sprained his left ankle for the third time since last year's playoffs on Friday, saying afterward, "I have to stop trying to run back out there and trying to play through these things."

"I pushed through a whole summer of trying to rehab the same ankle and it just keeps flaring up," Gibson said. "I just keep having these little bum ankle turns ... I have to be patient ... We've got a long season, but the dog in me wants to be out there and play. I have to learn from this." The ongoing nature of Gibson's injury suggests he'll miss significant time with his latest sprain, though fantasy owners can expect plenty of nebulous injury updates from the Bulls in the days to come. Nikola Mirotic posted a 20-10 game after Gibson went down on Friday, though his role will be limited once Pau Gasol (calf) gets back on the court.
Nov 22 - 11:16 AM

Pau Gasol (calf) went through on-court drills on Friday and wrote that he's "getting closer to [a] return."

Gasol could return Monday in Utah or Tuesday in Denver. His improving health is welcome news for Chicago, which has lost two straight games and may be forced to play without Taj Gibson (ankle) for a while.
Nov 22 - 10:25 AM

Andrea Bargnani (strained calf, hamstring) injured himself during Friday's practice and he will not play vs. the 76ers on Saturday.

An MRI revealed the calf strain and he's still recovering from his hamstring strain, and coach Derek Fisher admitted that Bargnani "isn't at a place where you can just put him out there and not be fully concerned." Bargnani has been lousy for the past few seasons, and the Knicks have enough frontcourt depth that he's not worth a speculative pickup.
Nov 22 - 9:57 AM

Nerlens Noel may have premeditated the flagrant foul he delivered to Eric Bledsoe just after tip-off on Friday, as Bledsoe was "tipped off" that it was coming before the game.

Bledsoe said in a recent interview that his former school Kentucky could "definitely" beat the 76ers, to which Noel and his Philly teammates reasonably took exception. This is unlikely to go any further, but it's worth watching since the NBA wouldn't take kindly to a retaliatory flagrant.
Nov 22 - 9:53 AM

Kevin Martin (broken right wrist) will be examined in the next few days to determine if his injury requires surgery.

Regardless of whether or not he needs surgery Martin's absence "likely will be at least six weeks," according to beat writer Jerry Zgoda. In the meantime, Minnesota will rely more on Mo Williams, Chase Budinger, Corey Brewer, Shabazz Muhammad, Andrew Wiggins and Robbie Hummel. Head coach Flip Saunders is also interested in picking up free agents but he conceded, "Guys who aren’t playing in our league, there’s probably a reason."
Nov 22 - 9:05 AM

Damian Lillard torched the Bulls for his best game of the season during Friday's 105-87 win, making 7-of-9 from the field for 21 points with six rebounds, nine assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in just 26 minutes.

That's good for a 100.0 effective field goal percentage. Lillard is playing some of the best ball of his life in his last five with a true shooting percentage of 73.6, a usage of 28.8 and an offensive efficiency rating of 117.9. Those advanced stats translate to averages of 25.8 points, 4.8 boards, 8.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 4.0 triples. He's been a top-three player over the past two weeks in standard leagues.
Nov 22 - 2:33 AM

Nikola Mirotic stepped up with Taj Gibson (ankle) getting hurt against the Blazers on Friday, scoring a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Pau Gasol (calf) did not play tonight and X-rays were negative on Gibson's ankle, so he is not a lock for minutes. That said, Mirotic is capable of blocking shots, hitting treys and turning in good percentages, so it's not a bad idea to add him speculatively in some leagues. To be clear, we wouldn't cut a player you're going to miss.
Nov 22 - 2:10 AM

John Wall had his way with Kyrie Irving in a 91-78 win on Friday, scoring 28 points with six rebounds, seven assists, four steals and one 3-pointer.

He made 12-of-20 from the field and bounced back nicely from a three-game streak of failing to shoot over 37 percent. Wall's dimes are holding steady at around nine, his steals are up and his scoring is right where it needs to be at 19 per game. He's one of the best point guards in the NBA at age 24.
Nov 22 - 1:04 AM

Bradley Beal played 32 minutes off the bench against the Cavs on Friday, scoring 12 points with five rebounds, five assists, three steals and two 3-pointers.

He looked great tonight and it would be a shock for him not to start against the Bucks on Saturday. Beal was outstanding last season with the Wizards and could improve in his third year. He just needs to stay healthy.
Nov 22 - 12:59 AM

LeBron James scored 22 points in a loss to the 91-78 loss to the Wizards on Friday to go with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

The Cavs are 5-6 and LeBron is below .500 after playing in at least 10 games since the 2007-08 season. The Cavs also had a 76ers-like 82.0 offensive efficiency rating tonight. While everyone is going to overreact, LeBron has been a top-10 player in fantasy leagues despite not even being close to as great as he was last season.
