Andrew Bynum says he isn't experiencing any pain in his knees and is on track to return during the All-Star break.

Bynum said he wants to step up his rehab but is wary of suffering any setbacks and we can't blame him for being careful. Step by step, Bynum is slowly progressing through the recovery process and things don't look so bleak all of a sudden. We're still very cautious about his troublesome knees and we advise you to be as well. Let's see how he moves along over the next 10-14 days before expressing anything beyond cautious optimism.

Khris Middleton scored 17 points in 33 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with three rebounds, three steals and four 3-pointers.

He started the second half with Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) going down in the second quarter. Middleton is certainly going to benefit with the injury to Jabari Parker (knee) and does have a usage rate of 20, so he's worth a look in standard leagues. His prospective owners just need to remember that coach Jason Kidd runs some wild rotation and Antetokounmpo's injury is not serious.
Dec 18 - 1:59 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo's left ankle injury is not considered serious and there is a chance he plays against the Kings on Thursday.

This is great news. The Bucks absolutely need Antetokounmpo back with Jabari Parker (knee) out for the season. Obviously, this positive outlook could change quickly and he is very questionable to play in a late game. If he's out, Khris Middleton would start and have decent value in standard leagues. Jared Dudley would also gain value.
Dec 18 - 1:43 AM

Marc Gasol hit a 3-pointer off the glass at the buzzer to send Wednesday's game to overtime, finishing with 26 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 46 minutes.

The Grizzlies pulled out a huge 117-116 win in triple overtime and are suddenly the hottest team in the NBA after back-to-back wins against the Warriors and the defending champs. As for Gasol, his knee injury is behind him as he makes a case for MVP. He's flirting with first-round value in standard leagues.
Dec 18 - 1:38 AM

Mason Plumlee made another start for Brook Lopez (back) and had a career-high 23 points, eight rebounds and two blocks on 9-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's loss.

Plumlee got off to a dreadful start when Bro-Lo went down, but has now scored 21 and 23 points in his last two games. He's a free throw killer and hit just 5-of-11 of them tonight, but as long as Lopez is out, Plumlee should be in your lineup. He's averaging 16.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his last five games, but is shooting just 43 percent at the line during that stretch.
Dec 18 - 1:38 AM

Dwyane Wade hit 12-of-19 shots for a season-high 42 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Jazz.

The bad news is he hit just 16-of-21 free throws and committed six turnovers, but the fact he played so well in a pair of back-to-backs (while battling an illness tonight) speaks volumes. The Heat are off until Friday, so hopefully Wade is able to get some rest and will be ready to go. He had 28 on Tuesday against the Nets.
Dec 18 - 1:01 AM

Tim Duncan played 48 minutes against the Grizzlies during a triple-overtime loss on Wednesday, scoring 23 points with 16 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.

Yeah, he's probably not playing on Friday against Portland. Duncan actually hit a buzzer-beater to send this game to triple-OT, but he missed 10 of his 15 free throws -- tied his most misses in a game in his career (happened four other times). Again, his fantasy owners should plan on him sitting out one if not both back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.
Dec 18 - 12:45 AM

Danny Green had one of the most unique stat lines in NBA history on Wednesday during a triple-overtime loss to Memphis, scoring a season-high 25 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, five blocks and seven 3-pointers in 52 minutes.

He became the first player in NBA history to make seven triples and block five shots in a game. Unlike last year, Green is seeing consistent minutes and it's led to him flirting with first-round value on the season. He's not going to be this great, but he's absolutely going to smash his ADP.
Dec 18 - 12:36 AM

Al Jefferson scored 18 of his 28 points in the first quarter against the Suns on Wednesday, adding 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 36 minutes.

He scored more points in the first quarter than any of his previous three games, so this outburst was a surprise. The Suns have been soft on the inside, so kudos to Jefferson for capitalizing. He gets another tasty matchup against the 76ers on Friday, so his fantasy owners should have high hopes.
Dec 18 - 12:18 AM

Goran Dragic looked terrific in his return against the Hornets on Wednesday, scoring 20 points with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

He missed the previous two games due to a strained back and was his aggressive self tonight. Dragic was really turning it on while Isaiah Thomas was out earlier this month and that might be due to his mentality and not because of the personnel. He should be able to flirt with top-50 value.
Dec 18 - 12:00 AM

Andre Drummond went off for 19 points, a season-high 24 rebounds, four steals and three blocks in Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks.

His early-season slump is officially over as he posted one of the best big-man lines of the season. Yeah, he hit just 1-of-6 free throws, but you knew that was part of the deal when you drafted him. Drummond is averaging 16.4 points, 15.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.4 blocks over his last five games.
Dec 17 - 11:47 PM

Multiple sources are reporting that the Mavs and Celtics are having serious discussions about a trade that would include Brandan Wright going to Boston for Rajon Rondo.

Wright had 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks in Wednesday's win over the Magic, but it's hard to say what would happen to his fantasy value if he goes to Boston. Tyler Zeller is starting, Kelly Olynyk is playing at a high level and Jared Sullinger can also play center. In other words, a move to Boston may not be a bad thing for Wright, but we doubt it makes him a must-own player, either, as long as the aforementioned bigs remain in Beantown.
