Tiago Splitter thrived with Tim Duncan (knee) unavailable on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 25 points on 10-of-11 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws, adding seven rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes.

The Hornets seemed totally unprepared for Splitter as a roll-man and he strolled to eight points within the game's first three minutes, which set the tone for the game. He won't be this good often, and plays a smaller role with Duncan in the lineup, but he's doing enough as the starting center to be in all active fantasy lineups, and has scored in double digits in eight straight games.

Zach Randolph (knee) will not play vs. the Heat on Saturday.

Dec 27 - 6:06 PM

Al Jefferson (groin) will play on Sunday vs. the Magic.

He has been struggling with a slight groin strain, and that is likely why he only scored four points on Friday. Big Al will have his hands full going up against Nikola Vucevic, but he is still a must-start player despite not being at 100 percent. We will let you know how he holds up after the game.
Dec 27 - 6:02 PM

Lance Stephenson (hip) will not play Saturday or Monday.

The way things have been going, Stephenson is unlikely to play on Wednesday. He's been out for five games and the Hornets have actually turned it around, going 4-1 in that span. Gerald Henderson played 27.0 minutes per game in that five-game span while Gary Neal, P.J. Hairston and Marvin Williams are also helping out a bit. Stephenson isn't a must-own player in shallow leagues.
Dec 27 - 5:27 PM

Martell Webster (back) won't play on Saturday, but he could make his season debut on this upcoming road trip.

Following today, the Wizards are on the road until Jan. 7 when they'll play the Knicks at home. Webster is taking some contact at practice, but there's no rush to bring him back with Rasual Butler playing well. Webster is only a stash in deep leagues.
Dec 27 - 5:23 PM

Kobe Bryant (soreness) is listed as probable to play against the Suns on Sunday.

The Lakers did list him as probable for Christmas against the Bulls and he missed that game, so this probable tag should be viewed as more of a questionable one. Bryant has complained about his Achilles and his entire body not being at 100 percent, so his owners will want to check back. Wayne Ellington is obviously much less appealing should Kobe make it back.
Dec 27 - 4:27 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) is doubtful to play against the Knicks on Sunday.

If he sits, this will be his second game in a row out of the lineup. Aldridge was not with the team on Saturday and the Blazers probably won't have him for what should be an easy home game. Chris Kaman's wife gave birth to their son, so he should be back for the game. Joel Freeland had a career rebounding night on Friday and is probably the most reliable replacement.
Dec 27 - 4:10 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is probable to play against the Knicks on Saturday.

He missed Friday due to a stomach bug and it sounds like he's all better. Of course, multiple players have been probable with an illness and missed a game, so Cousins isn't a lock to play. Cousins returning would basically take away shots from the entire team, but the Kings should be more effective as a whole.
Dec 27 - 4:03 PM

Ramon Sessions (back) is doubtful to play against the Knicks on Saturday.

He did not play on Friday due to a lower back strain, which allowed Ray McCallum to play 26 minutes against the Suns. McCallum should see a similar amount of playing time while Darren Collison should come close to matching his 36 minutes, as well. Sessions is not worth owning in most leagues.
Dec 27 - 4:02 PM

Spencer Hawes (knee) will not play on Saturday vs. the Raptors.

He is said to be nearing a return, but only owners in deep leagues should consider adding him for the time being. Hawes would need an injury to Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan before we could recommend an add, so you can safely leave him on the wire. Glen Davis will see a few extra minutes Saturday, but is not a fantasy option by any means.
Dec 27 - 1:54 PM

Al Jefferson (groin) is probable for Saturday's game against the Magic.

He scored just four points on Friday, so it is clearly obvious that his groin has been an issue for him. However, as long as Big Al is active he should be in all lineups.
Dec 27 - 1:30 PM

C.J. Miles (illness) is considered questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

He is dealing with an upper respiratory infection so he likely won't be close to 100 percent even if he does play. Miles has been much better than he was at the beginning of the season, and if he can stay on the court he will continue to be worth a look in standard leagues for his 3-point shooting. Expect Solomon Hill to play big minutes if Miles sits, while Chris Copeland might jump back into the rotation as well.
