Ricky Rubio hit 4-of-9 shots and his first 3-pointer of the season on Saturday to finish with 14 points, eight assists and five steals in a loss to the Bobcats.

He suffered a thigh contusion along the way, but played through it. The points, 3-pointer and steals were all season highs, and while he'll have to do this a few more times before we're convinced he's ready to start contributing consistently, it was a huge step in the right direction.

Myles Turner (ankle) is starting on Friday vs. the Raptors.

He tweaked his ankle all the way back on Monday, but he said he would be "fine" and he's had several days off to rest. With no word of any restrictions, Turner should be at or close to 100 percent and is safe to activate in lineups.
Nov 24 - 7:41 PM

Wilson Chandler (back) will play against the Grizzlies on Friday.

Coach Mike Malone said earlier today that he's giving Chander a lot of credit to be playing because he's playing through a lot of pain and discomfort. Considering his injury history, Chandler may have to be held out at some point, but he should have some nice value while Paul Millsap (wrist) is on the shelf.
Nov 24 - 7:25 PM

Nikola Jokic (ankle) is "available" vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

There's no word of any restrictions and Jokic was originally probable, so expect him to see his normal allotment of minutes vs. Memphis. Despite the tough matchup, Jokic can be treated like a top-5 fantasy center every time he touches the floor.
Nov 24 - 7:24 PM

Nemanja Bjelica (foot) will not play Friday against the Heat.

He had a fractured navicular bone in his left foot in March and needed surgery, so this injury is somewhat close to that one. With Bjelica out, the Wolves could go smaller with Shabazz Muhammad or they could go bigger with a rare use of Gorgui Dieng at the four.
Nov 24 - 7:20 PM

Kyle O'Quinn will start in place of Enes Kanter (back spasms) on Friday vs. the Hawks.

Joakim Noah likely would've been activated, but he's home with an illness. In addition to KOQ seeing a bump in minutes, the Knicks might finally unleash talented second-year center Willy Hernangomez. Both players could split the center minutes tonight, putting them on the punt radar in DFS.

Enes Kanter (back spasms) will not play against the Hawks on Friday.

We don't have any noteworthy back spasms on Kanter during his career, so hopefully this doesn't linger. He's actually been very effective for the Knicks, which has kept Willy Hernangomez at bay. With Kanter out, Hernangomez should be in the rotation and could split the center minutes with Kyle O'Quinn. The Knicks may also go small and throw out Kristaps Porzingis at the five.
Nov 24 - 6:02 PM

John Collins will start against the Knicks on Friday.

This was an easy call for the Hawks after his strong 14-point, 10-board start in 38 minutes on Wednesday. Collins also logged all of the backup center minutes and his playing time should be very high again, assuming he can avoid foul trouble. It should be fun to see how he fares against Kristaps Porzingis. Collins should be owned in all standard leagues.
Nov 24 - 5:58 PM

Marcus Morris will start against the Magic on Friday and is expected to rest against the Pacers on Saturday.

The Celtics will go smaller against Aaron Gordon at the four. Morris has played 24.4 minutes per game over his last five, but he has yet to play in both ends of a back-to-back set this season -- he sat out on Nov. 6. Morris should be looking at around 25 minutes tonight, which takes away from Semi Ojeleye and Daniel Theis.
Nov 24 - 5:48 PM

Damian Lillard scored 34 points with four rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers during a 127-125 Friday matinee win in Brooklyn.

It was almost reverse Lillard time with 30 points in the first three quarters and just four in the fourth in this win. In the last loss to the Nets on Nov. 10, Lillard stressed how the Blazers struggled against the smaller lineups, but this time they were ready to go and crushed the Nets when they went super small, including a 10-0 run in the second quarter. Lillard has also made 10 free throws in two of his last three games and this gem gets him over the 25 points-per-game plateau on the year.
Nov 24 - 3:20 PM

Jusuf Nurkic had a monster game in Brooklyn on Friday, posting season-highs 29 points and 15 boards with three assists, one steal and four blocks.

The four blocks also match his season high in what was easily his best game of the year. In their last game against Brooklyn on Nov. 10, Nurkic didn't play much down the stretch and it cost the Blazers. This time, he came out on fire in the third quarter and protected the paint on defense. While this is great, it's not party time yet on Nurk and he has made just 13-of-26 from the line in his last four. That said, things are clearly looking up and we should see more Nurk Alerts in the near future.
Nov 24 - 3:11 PM

Ben Simmons (left elbow) is out for Saturday's game against the Magic.

He experienced some soreness in his left elbow and he will be re-evaluated on Sunday. Excluding Markelle Fultz (shoulder) earlier this year, the 76ers are usually very careful with their stars and ruling him out a day early is a little troubling. With him out, T.J. McConnell should be looking at some heavy minutes as basically the rest of the rotation also has to pick up the slack, especially Jerryd Bayless and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
