LeBron James filled the stat sheet in a loss to Boston on Sunday with 34 points, 16 boards, seven assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

He shot 14-of-31 from the field for a season high in shot attempts to go with his season high in boards. LeBron is shooting 55 percent from the field this year at a 19 shot-per-game clip this season, which makes him the best player to own for field goal percentage.

The Celtics reportedly had "significant concerns" regarding Isaiah Thomas' hip injury, and that factored into Boston's willingness to trade him for Kyrie Irving.

The Cavs are "anxious" to bring in Thomas for a physical so that they can put a firm timetable on his return date, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, but overall the Cavs' front office doesn't have any short term concerns regarding Thomas' health. IT2 will be coming into a contract year next season, and with him set to turn 29, this could be one of the last big-money deals of his career. He'll obviously be highly motivated to play well this upcoming season, and if all goes well after his check up, fantasy GMs can plan on targeting him in the 20-30 range on draft day.

Joel Embiid (knee surgery) has still not been fully cleared for basketball activities.

Embiid is still being limited to non-contact work, but a recent report from the 76ers director of performance research and development, Dr. David T. Martin, indicated that Embiid should be able to resume basketball activities sometime this summer. There's no denying Embiid's talent, but the fact that knee and foot injuries have kept him off the court for all but 31 games through his first three years in the league is certainly concerning.

Jae Crowder has been traded to the Cavaliers as part of a package for Kyrie Irving.

Losing a talent like Kyrie Irving is never easy for a franchise, but the Cavaliers rebounded nicely and arguably won the trade by snagging Isaiah Thomas and Brooklyn's highly-valuable 2018 first rounder. It's unclear if Crowder will start in Cleveland unless the Cavs want to push LeBron James and Kevin Love to the four and five, but his ability to play multiple positions will help him find a stable role with minutes in the 30s. His upside isn't as high in Cleveland, but he's still a solid mid-round pick.

Kyrie Irving has been traded to the Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first-round pick.

There's no such thing as an offseason in the NBA. For the Celtics, they finally have their face of the franchise in Irving and he's under contract for the next two seasons with a player option for the third. Irving had a 41.7 usage rate when LeBron James was off the floor last season, so it's going to be exciting to see what kind of numbers he puts up as the clear alpha dog. He looks like a rock-solid pick at the start of the second round in standard drafts and you could even make an argument to take him at the end of the first.

Ben Simmons (foot) has been "cleared to resume full basketball activity for some time," according to 76ers' beat reporter Tom Moore.

Simmons sat out the entire 2016-17 season due to a Jones fracture in his right foot, but all reports up to this point have indicated that he'll be going into training camp 100 percent healthy. However, head coach Brett Brown has already hinted that Simmons will likely have a minutes restriction next year, so expect him to be eased into things next season, similarly to how the team handled Joel Embiid last year.

The Pacers have filed tampering charges against the Lakers over Paul George, and the league has launched an independent investigation into the allegations.

The probe is reportedly centered on possible "impermissible contact" between Magic Johnson and George, although at this point, no findings have been made. If the Lakers are deemed guilty upon the conclusion of the investigation, they could lose multiple draft picks, front office execs could be suspended, hefty fines would need to be paid, and the Lakers could also be forbidden from signing PG-13 when he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

Marshall Plumlee has agreed to a partially-guaranteed deal with the Clippers.

The Knicks waived Plumlee back on July 7 after he played a grand total of 170 minutes with the team last year. Plumlee did get an opportunity to start one game last year, but he didn't score in that one. Plumlee could have a chance to be the third center on the roster, but that would mean the Clippers would slide Montrezl Harrell over to the four.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) announced on his Facebook page that he is currently unable to practice and will not play for Greece at Eurobasket.

We first learned that Antetokounmpo was dealing with "knee discomfort" earlier this month, as he was unable to practice for five days in preparation for Eurobasket. However, he reportedly had an MRI, which came back clean, and it appeared the issue was behind him. Giannis played in Greece's next game, vs. Montenegro, last weekend, scoring 20 points. After that contest, he took off for a scheduled tour of China. At this point, we don't have any further details as to the extent of the injury. We'll pass along an update as soon as one is provided.

Jeff Withey agreed to a one-year deal with the Mavs.

The Mavs still haven't brought back Nerlens Noel yet, but Withey should still have a tough time making the Mavs roster. Withey did get one start last season and played in 51 games, averaging 2.9 points per effort.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kristaps Porzingis has emerged as a "primary target" for Cleveland as they consider possible trade scenarios involving Kyrie Irving.

Wojnarowski notes the Knicks are not currently interested and would only consider such a trade if the Cavs were also willing to take back Joakim Noah's contract. However, Woj does state that New York may consider moving KP at some point if the relationship between Porzingis and the team doesn't improve. "There continues to be distance between Porzingis and the organization, and how the Knicks truly value Porzingis' future could become clearer once they're together to begin the season," writes Wojnarowski.

According to Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Zach Randolph could be banned from the NBA like former teammate O.J. Mayo if convicted of a felony marijuana charge.

Z-Bo was arrested on Wednesday and charged with "intent to sell" marijuana in California. TMZ reported that Z-Bo was in possession of two pounds of marijuana, but his agent Raymond Brothers called those accusations "false and misleading." This isn't Z-Bo's first run-in with the law, as he had incidents back in 2010 and 2011 -- he wasn't charged for either. According to the league’s collective bargaining agreement, a player can be "dismissed and disqualified from the NBA if he is convicted of, or pleads guilty, no contest or nolo contendere to, a crime involving the felony distribution of marijuana."
