Coach Lionel Hollins said that Mike Conley (ankle) will "probably" play on Monday, but there is "no real word" on his availability.

This looks like good news after Conley was lifted from Sunday's game and was in a walking boot on Sunday night. However, it's still very possible Conley misses Monday's game depending on how his ankle responded overnight, but the initial report is that Conley escaped serious injury. It's also worth noting that Conley said he was dealing with "a lot of pain" and said that it was more of a "bone bruise than a sprain."

The Hawks benched their entire starting five at halftime of Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

The Hawks were down by 19 points at half, so Malcolm Delaney, Tim Hardaway Jr., Taurean Prince, Mike Muscala and Kris Humphries started the third quarter. We'll definitely be on the lookout for some quotes from coach Mike Budenholzer after the game.

Robert Covington suffered a left knee sprain and will not return on Friday night.

He and T.J. McConnell dove for a ball near the stands and McConnell's shoulder caught the side of Covington's knee. Covington was in some pain and the 76ers ruled him out about five minutes later in real time -- it is a blowout. He finished with nine points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes. If he's out, there will be more minutes going to Hollis Thompson and Nik Stauskas. Both are speculative adds with a slight edge to Stauskas.
Dec 2 - 9:09 PM

Anthony Davis (right shoulder) has returned to Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

He played the whole first quarter before heading to the locker room, but returned with three minutes left before halftime. The replay showed Davis colliding with Marreese Speights, but it looked very minor. It looks like Davis is in the clear, but this is why it's important to handcuff him with Terrence Jones on your fantasy team. We'll have an update after the game.
Dec 2 - 9:04 PM

Nene (rest) will not play again on Friday night against the Nuggets.

Wow, he's getting back-to-back nights off. This likely has a lot to do with Montrezl Harrell playing very well on Thursday, so maybe it's possible rotation change, too. Nene can be dropped in most leagues while Harrell could have another nice game. Harrell would only be worth a look in deep leagues.
Dec 2 - 9:03 PM

Anthony Davis (right shoulder) is questionable to return Friday night against the Clippers.

This is the same right shoulder he had problems with two seasons ago, but not the left shoulder with a partial tear from last year. Davis didn't appear to be hurt, so it's all a guessing game right now. We'll have another update once we have more info.
Dec 2 - 8:43 PM

Danilo Gallinari (thigh) and Darrell Arthur (illness) will play against the Rockets on Friday.

The Nuggets usually throw guys on the injury report as probable after an injury, so the Italian was always expected to play. Expect Gallo to get his normal playing time and he could even play some four tonight in a favorable matchup. Get him in your lineup.
Dec 2 - 8:25 PM

Nikola Jokic (left wrist) will not play against the Rockets on Friday.

This is a surprise after Jokic played through what looked like a minor wrist injury sustained from Wednesday night. Jokic did say he couldn't move his wrist the following day, so it apparently was worse than it looked. Jokic was really coming on after a rough start with two straight double-doubles. For tonight, it'll be more of Jusuf Nurkic, Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur. Plus, there should be more small-ball lineups against the Rockets.
Dec 2 - 8:19 PM

Raymond Felton is starting in place of J.J. Redick (rest) on Friday against the Pelicans.

The Pelicans start a small backcourt of Jrue Holiday and Tim Frazier, so Felton moving into the starting five makes some sense. With that said, Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford should both see a small bump in minutes as well. There's no need to add Felton is most formats with Redick simply resting.
Dec 2 - 7:52 PM

The Nets have signed Donatas Motiejunas to a four-year, $37 million offer sheet.

Wow. The Rockets will have three days to match, but that doesn't seem likely. D-Mo didn't have many suitors this summer because his troublesome back raised several red flags, but clearly that didn't faze the Nets. Assuming the Rockets don't match, D-Mo could find minutes at both the four and five in Brooklyn and could have some value in deeper leagues -- he averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.4 treys in 14.8 minutes per game in 2015-16 with Houston. For now, Trevor Booker's owners shouldn't be too worried.
Dec 2 - 7:40 PM

Markieff Morris (ankle) will start against the Spurs on Friday.

The Wizards made it clear he only has a "twisted" ankle and not a sprain, so Morris had a good shot to play tonight. He should get a good amount of run and is coming off a 37-minute, 19-point Wednesday. We'll see if he can keep LaMarcus Aldridge in check tonight.
Dec 2 - 7:38 PM

Justin Holiday will start against the Wolves on Friday night.

Holiday started the third quarter on Wednesday, so this move is expected. Holiday only played 10.3 minutes in the second half, so he may not getting a big bump. Expect to see more of Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Brandon Jennings tonight.
