Klay Thompson hit 13-of-24 shots and 6-of-8 3-pointers on his way to a career high of 32 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and three blocks for the short-handed Warriors on Tuesday.

You could see this one coming, as Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes and Carl Landry were all out tonight. Thompson hit six straight threes before missing his last two, and should continue to roll throughout the rest of the season.

Rudy Gobert exploded for a career-high 27 points and 25 boards in a 112-107 overtime win in Dallas on Friday, adding one assist, one steal and two blocks in 41 minutes.

What? Only two blocks? Kidding aside, Gobert continues to be one of the best per-possesion scorers in the NBA, making 8-of-11 from the field and 11-of-17 from the line today. He put up the NBA's first 25-25 line of the season with a whopping seven offensive boards coming in the fourth quarter and overtime tonight. He's leading the NBA in blocks and in percentage at the rim against to make a strong case for Defensive Player of the Year. If you didn't think he should be an All-Star, this line has to change your mind.

Lou Williams scored 27 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers on Friday vs. the Pacers.

Coach Luke Walton said before the game that he is "probably not" going to shorten his bench minutes, but now he may have to extend them with D'Angelo Russell leaving the game early with a right MCL sprain. Williams shot 7-of-15 from the field and 9-of-10 from the line in 30 minutes, so his owners can expect some monster production if Russell is unable to play on Sunday vs. Dallas.
Jan 21 - 2:14 AM

Brandon Ingram scored 15 points with seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in Friday's win over the Pacers.

Coach Luke Walton was impressed after the game and said Ingram is "progressing faster than a typical 19-year-old rookie." Ingram made another start in place of Luol Deng (wrist) tonight and hit 6-of-14 shots from the field in 33 minutes, so it looks like it's time to pick him up. Deng is likely day-to-day even though initial reports suggested he would be out a while, but Ingram should see plenty of minutes going forward no matter what.
Jan 21 - 2:07 AM

Nick Young (knee) returned from an injury scare in Friday's 108-96 win over the Pacers and scored 15 points in 26 minutes.

He hyperextended his left knee in the second quarter, but X-rays were negative and he returned for the second half. Young was moving well and hit five 3-pointers with three rebounds, one assist and one steal, and while he did say his knee was "a little sore" after the game, he should be fine for Sunday's game vs. Dallas unless the Lakers want to be cautious.
Jan 21 - 1:44 AM

Kevin Durant was on his A game during a 125-108 win in Houston on Friday, making 12-of-19 from the field for 32 points with four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers.

He was just awesome on the defensive end in what has been an underrated part of his game in his career. The Warriors also made all of their shots off KD passes today. Obviously, it's about his offense and you may need a microscope to spot a KD slump. Durant has turned in a true shooting percentage below 60 in two consecutive games in just one instance this year. That and the stats across the board make him fantasy's No. 1 player this season.
Jan 21 - 1:28 AM

Clint Capela showed he was close to 100 percent against the Warriors on Friday, scoring a career-high 22 points with 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 21 minutes.

We'll keep this one simple here. If Capela is somehow on your waiver wire, go fix that right now and pick him up.
Jan 21 - 12:49 AM

Marc Gasol scored 28 points in 33 minutes in Friday's 107-91 win over the Kings.

Gasol filled it up tonight, shooting 9-of-19 from the field and 7-of-7 from the line with nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and three triples in 33 minutes. Gasol has now scored 24+ points in three straight games, but his owners will want to make sure he's active on Saturday vs. the Rockets on the second night of a back-to-back set -- Gasol has rested twice this season and both DNPs occurred during back-to-back sets.
Jan 21 - 12:15 AM

D'Angelo Russell (knee, calf) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

In addition to his right MCL sprain, Russell also has a strained right calf. The Lakers didn't rule Russell out right away, so hopefully the injuries are minor. Russell is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday, but don't be surprised if he misses time since the Lakers have nothing to play for. Jose Calderon started the second half, but he's not a great speculative pickup. Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams will each get a boost with Russell out.
Jan 21 - 12:01 AM

J.J. Barea (left calf) is expected to miss weeks due to his calf injury from Friday night.

Coach Rick Carlisle was not encouraged after the game. "Same calf, different area. Unlucky. It's gonna be a while," Carlisle said. That means Barea has now suffered three different injuries to his lower left leg with a previous calf strain and another Achilles problem before that. The Mavs likely have to shut him down at least to help his career long term. He's a drop candidate. Meanwhile, go get Seth Curry in all leagues while Devin Harris also benefits.
Jan 20 - 11:45 PM

Caris LeVert made all six shots from the field and both free throws for 17 points against the Pelicans on Friday, adding five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Kaboom. There has been buzz about LeVert for over a month and coach Kenny Atkinson has said that the rookie is forcing his hand to play him more despite how he planned to bring him along slowly. Since 1983-84, LeVert is the only Net to post at least 15 points, five boards and five assists while not missing any shots. He ran the offense a ton in the second half and his efficiency has been fantastic lately as a scorer with some of the flashiest moves in the NBA. With how well he's been playing, how he plays three positions, has his coach talking him up, and with the Nets playing at the fastest pace in the NBA, he has to be added right now.
Jan 20 - 11:35 PM

J.J. Barea suffered a lower left leg injury in the fourth quarter and went to the locker room.

He went up for a jump shot and just over-extended his calf or Achilles. This is the same leg that has cost him several games in multiple stints this year, so he's almost a lock to miss time. Make sure Seth Curry isn't on your waiver wire.
