Chris Bosh (toe) went through shootaround and is expected to play on Wednesday.

No surprise here as Bosh was expected to play coming into Wednesday's game. He should be out there, so it appears safe to get him active in lineups as usual.

Dwight Howard and the Rockets were at odds over his role during the season.

"I felt like my role was being reduced," Howard said. "I went to [Rockets general manager] Daryl [Morey] and said, 'I want to be more involved.' Daryl said, 'No, we don't want you to be.' My response was, 'Why not? Why am I here?' It was shocking to me that it came from him instead of our coach. So I said to him, 'No disrespect to what you do, but you've never played the game. I've been in this game a long time. I know what it takes to be effective.'" Howard, for his part, admitted his mistake in allowing not getting the ball to impact other areas of his play, but it's easy to understand his frustration in this situation. Given all of this combined with the fact that the Rockets are expected to hire Mike D'Antoni as their next head coach, it would be nothing short of shocking to see D12 back in Houston for 2016-17 and beyond.

Pau Gasol is considering skipping the Olympics due to fears over the Zika virus.

Gasol cited uncertainty about the situation and cautioned anyone participating to "think about" the risk involved. "It wouldn't surprise me to see some athletes deciding not to participate in the games to avoid putting their health and the health of their families at risk," Gasol said. "We need to understand the seriousness of the situation. I feel responsible to know more about the situation and to inform everyone about it."

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, "the Heat's preference" is to re-sign Dwyane Wade to a one-year contract.

Such a move would be done in order to preserve 2017 flexibility, not because Miami isn't committed to its franchise player. Wade has made no secret of the fact that he wants and plans to spend the rest of his career with the Heat, so this is more of an update than an evolving part of an uncertain narrative. Per Jackson, the Heat expect Wade's salary to come in between $15-$20 million annually for next year.

Hassan Whiteside's preference is to re-sign with the Heat "if all things are equal financially," according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

This has been the expectation all along, but it's still unclear if Miami is willing to bid what another team—or teams—will put on the table. There is chatter that the Heat will attempt to sell Whiteside on taking less than the max, but there will surely be at least one other club willing to give him a max contract. Pat Riley has previously said that Whiteside will be his team's No. 1 offseason priority, and there's no question that the best rim protector in the league will be in high demand.

Steve Kerr said that he's not planning on starting Andre Iguodala for Monday's Game 7 against the Thunder, although he added that his coaching staff won't finalize a plan until later.

Iguodala held Kevin Durant to just 4-of-12 shooting when he was inserted into the starting five in favor of Harrison Barnes to begin the second half of Game 6, and he gives the Dubs a defensive counter that Barnes simply does not offer. Kerr probably doesn't want to give Billy Donovan any sort of clue as to what he'll be rolling out there for Game 7, so this quote could be more of a smoke screen than anything else. We're unlikely to have official confirmation on the Dubs' starters until just prior to Monday's tip, but Iguodala remains the preferred DFS target amongst the Warriors small forwards.

Stephen Curry stepped up during a riveting 108-101 victory over the Thunder on Saturday, scoring 31 points with 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and six 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

He wasn't having his best game while Klay Thompson carried the Dubs' offense. Curry played some very good defense late in the game, which was a popular topic after Russell Westbrook chuckled about it after Game 5. Curry scored six points in the fourth, including a game-tying trey with 2:47 left. After the game, Curry said he kind of likes playing through the aches and pains because it helps him understand the moment of these playoffs. He still hasn't had a complete explosion in this series, so maybe that happens in Game 7 on Monday. Get ready.
May 29 - 12:51 AM

Andre Iguodala started the third quarter during Saturday's win over the Thunder, scoring eight points with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and one turnover in 38 minutes.

It was a long overdue move to put Iguodala out there with the starters. He had some huge defensive stops and forced turnovers late in the game, playing defense on Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The Warriors went back to their vaunted lineup of Iguodala, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes for 11 minutes, posting an awesome plus-54.7 net rating in that time. Iguodala is a good bet to start Game 7 after really locking down KD.

Kevin Durant made 10-of-31 from the field for 29 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 45 minutes in a Game 6 loss to the Warriors on Saturday.

He was trying to do a little too much and had a really bad fourth quarter. In his 11 fourth-quarter minutes, Durant made 1-of-7 from the field and turned the ball over twice. He joins LeBron James as the only player this decade with back-to-back games with at least 30 field goal attempts in a playoff game. On the other side of the ball, Durant's defense was great once again and has been one of the most unheralded stories in these playoffs. He'll need to be more careful with the ball on Monday.
May 29 - 12:15 AM

Klay Thompson was unbelievable during a 108-101 win over the Thunder in Game 6 on Saturday, scoring a playoff career-high 41 points with four rebounds, one steal, one block and 11 3-pointers.

What. A. Game. The Warriors were down seven points with five minutes left and pulled off a thrilling comeback. Thompson set an NBA playoff record with his 11 treys and scored the most points for a Warrior in these playoffs, making 14-of-30 from the field with 18 attempts from deep. The triples were the story with the Warriors, outscoring the Thunder 63-9 from the 3-point line. You'll want to clear your schedule for Game 7 on Monday.

Andre Iguodala started the third quarter for Harrison Barnes in Game 6 on Saturday.

Finally.
