Bradley Beal (wrist) won't play Wednesday night against the 76ers.

Beal visited a hand specialist in New York earlier Wednesday, so it's not entirely surprising he's sitting out tonight. We'll let you know what comes out of Beal's visit to the Big Apple, but owners will want to get him out of their lineups at least for tonight. The rookie guard also admitted recently that he might have to take some time off, which would mean more playing time for Jordan Crawford, Martell Webster and Trevor Ariza.

Deyonta Davis and Jarell Martin are starting against the Heat on Saturday.

Marc Gasol is presumably getting the night off tonight and there will be more minutes going to the young guys going forward. Gasol isn't likely to be shut down, so Davis may only be a spot-start option tonight.

Marc Gasol is not starting on Saturday night against the Heat.

It'll be Deyonta Davis taking over as the starting center. Presumably, Gasol is getting the night off on a back-to-back set, which isn't a big surprise. There will be more rest for Gasol going forward, but hopefully it's only on B2Bs with their next one coming on Mar. 2-3.

Tyreke Evans (right rib) will have an MRI on Sunday.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff says he's feeling pretty good on Saturday, but the team did rule him out early. Plus, the Grizzlies are putting emphasis on their young guys, so this all suggests Evans is going to miss more time. Andrew Harrison is a strong pickup while Mario Chalmers also benefits.
Feb 24 - 6:19 PM

Aron Baynes (elbow) will not play against the Knicks on Saturday and Daniel Theis will start.

He will be re-evaluated on Sunday after his injury on Friday. With Baynes out, coach Brad Stevens will be looking at Daniel Theis, Greg Monroe, Marcus Morris, Jayson Tatum and really anyone to fill the void. Theis is coming in hot off a career night and he is going to start, so he's probably the guy to use in DFS.
Feb 24 - 6:05 PM

Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) is out again Saturday against the Grizzlies.

He was questionable to play today, but he still gets ruled out well before tip time. The Heat will play their next game on Tuesday, so Olynyk should have a very good chance to play in that one. We'll see more Hassan Whiteside, Bam Adebayo and James Johnson up front.
Feb 24 - 5:52 PM

Jimmy Butler (knee) has a meniscus tear in his right knee and is determining treatment options, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

That makes the recent official report from the team of an "injury" a little worse. Butler and the Wolves will need to figure out the best treatment plan, which can vary from anywhere from three weeks to the rest of the season and playoffs. Butler's fantasy owners probably shouldn't be expecting him to return before April, so this is a really tough blow for those headed to the fantasy playoffs. Most of his owners may want to hold on until the surgery plan is revealed, which should be in the coming days. Although, if you need games now, cutting him is obviously an option. Nemanja Bjelica should be picked up in 12-team leagues.
Feb 24 - 5:36 PM

Jonathon Simmons (ankle) is starting against the 76ers on Saturday.

He was expected to play and everything likely went fine in warmups. Simmons has kind of cooled off lately, but should have a decent opportunity to run some of the offense even with Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic in the mix.
Feb 24 - 4:29 PM

Tyson Chandler (neck) is doubtful for Saturday against the Blazers.

He had an MRI earlier this week and there's a very good chance he's out for several more games. Alex Len has looked the part of a starting center in his last two games, and perhaps the time off from the break helped his ankles get right. Len should be owned in standard leagues.
Feb 24 - 3:40 PM

Updating a previous item, De'Aaron Fox (pink eye) is probable to play against the Lakers on Saturday.

This is a quick turnaround after Fox was just called questionable 10 minutes ago. He should be back tonight and he will likely have a lot of minutes headed his way. If he can make shots and stay healthy, Fox could have a nice finish to his rookie season.
Feb 24 - 3:31 PM

Kosta Koufos (illness) is questionable for Saturday against the Lakers.

He was reportedly very sick at the arena on Thursday night and it's possible the Kings hold him out again. Koufos being out should mean Zach Randolph would get heavy run as the starter next to Willie Cauley-Stein.
Feb 24 - 3:18 PM

Coach Nate McMillan said that he does not expect Darren Collison (knee) to return during the Pacers upcoming four-game road trip.

There was some hope that Collison could return next week, but that now seems highly unlikely. "The recovery is not going as fast as we thought it would so it’s going to take a bit of time," said coach McMillan on Saturday. "I’d say on this road trip, he won’t be back." The Pacers embark on a four-game road trip beginning Monday in Dallas and don't return home until Monday, March 5th. Cory Joseph and Joe Young will continue to divvy up minutes at PG with Collison sidelined.
