Carlos Boozer (right hamstring) will not play on Wednesday.

Tom Thibodeau kept it under wraps and Boozer should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Nets. Taj Gibson should produce on Wednesday.

J.J. Redick (rest) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Friday night.

It's scheduled rest on the back end of a back-to-back set. Redick has been on fire with a 23-point game on Thursday, but he is still 32 years old. For tonight, Wes Johnson should get in the rotation while Austin Rivers, Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford all get boosts in playing time.
Dec 2 - 6:39 PM

Paul Millsap (hip) will not play against the Pistons on Friday and is also out for Saturday against the Raptors.

These DNPs will be his second and third games out of the lineup. Despite going scoreless on Wednesday, Mike Muscala should get another start while Mike Scott could also see a few extra minutes than his four on Wednesday. Millsap's injury doesn't sound serious and it may be more about pain tolerance, so he could make it back for Monday against the Thunder.
Dec 2 - 6:32 PM

Dwyane Wade will play against the Cavs on Friday and will rest against the Mavs on Saturday.

Wade is not even going to travel for the road game in Dallas. The Bulls are now starting to take care of Wade's legs more than usual with this being his second straight rest on a back-to-back set. He'll get plenty of minutes tonight at home against his buddy LeBron James. For Saturday, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Mirotic and Isaiah Canaan would benefit.
Dec 2 - 6:25 PM

Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles), already ruled out of Saturday's game against the Bulls, is likely to miss at least one additional game.

The Mavs following game is Monday vs. Charlotte. They then play the Kings on Wednesday, which seems to be the earliest we would see Dirk back on the floor. However, even that is questionable due to the lingering soreness in his right Achilles' tendon. "Dirk's situation is improving, but he is really out indefinitely," Carlisle said during his weekly appearance on 103.3 FM ESPN. Dirk has played in just two of the Mavs last 13 games. With the 3-15 Mavs headed towards a top lottery pick, they have absolutely no reason to rush Dirk back into the lineup.

Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Raptors on Friday.

It's the same starting lineup as Wednesday with Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Ingram played a whopping 41 minutes in that start with a 13.0 usage rate, so maybe he gets more shots tonight. Ingram is worth a long look in DFS and is a pickup in competitive leagues with a ton of playing time headed his way while Nick Young (calf) misses 2-4 weeks.
Dec 2 - 6:18 PM

DeMarre Carroll (rest) will not play against the Lakers on Friday and Norman Powell will start in his place.

It's scheduled rest on the front end of a back-to-back set, so Carroll will get to play against his former team, the Hawks, on Saturday. With Carroll out, both Norman Powell and Terrence Ross should be flirting with 30 minutes. Ross has been very good on defense and should carry the second unit tonight. Both are great streaming options in a fantastic matchup.
Dec 2 - 5:55 PM

Courtney Lee (ankle) and Joakim Noah (ankle) are both unavailable for Friday's game against the Wolves.

The Knicks are in a similar position as they were on Wednesday with Noah out for that game against the Wolves. Somewhat surprisingly, Marshall Plumlee picked up some extra run while Kyle O'Quinn and Mindaugus Kuzminskas also saw some added playing time. Noah is day-to-day and could play Sunday against the Kings, so the aforementioned bigs only have very short-term boosts.
Dec 2 - 5:51 PM

Al-Farouq Aminu (calf) practiced on Friday and remains out for Saturday against Miami.

This is a very encouraging sign for Aminu, who has missed the last 12 games. He's had a smooth transition to playing all power forward this season, which has allowed Moe Harkless to step up as a three. Aminu's return with 27 minutes per game would take minutes away from guys like Ed Davis, Meyers Leonard and Noah Vonleh. Aminu is a borderline asset in standard leagues.
Dec 2 - 4:58 PM

Zach Randolph (personal) will not play against the Lakers on Saturday.

He is still on bereavement leave for the loss of his mother. With Z-Bo out, Jarell Martin has seen the biggest bump in minutes while Deyonta Davis has received a chance to play. Martin gets a good matchup and could be a sneaky steam or DFS punt play. Randolph isn't worth stashing in most cases.
Dec 2 - 3:10 PM

Vince Carter (hip) is out for Saturday against the Lakers.

This will be his third game out of the lineup due to his right hip flexor injury. The Grizzlies have played more Tony Allen while Troy Daniels and Troy Williams have both stepped up lately. Daniels and Williams have similar short-term value with Daniels being more about scoring and Williams doing a little of everything. Allen should be a steals specialist.
Dec 2 - 3:07 PM

Nikola Jokic (left wrist) is shaping up to be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Rockets.

On Wednesday night, Jokic was pushed to the ground and braced himself with his left wrist, so that's likely when he suffered the injury. Jokic did stay in the game and it doesn't sound serious. He's playing some outstanding ball and does appear to have a good chance to play. If he's out, more run will go to Jusuf Nurkic, Kenneth Faried and a number of other forwards.
