Kyle Lowry had 14 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 5-of-11 shooting in 30 minutes on Wednesday.

Lowry's owners are partying hard on Wednesday night now that Jose Calderon is finally out of their hair. Lowry looked great tonight, but has really struggled with injuries the last couple seasons. If he can stay healthy, his owners' fantasy teams are about to go on a run. Obviously, he's as must-own as it gets right now.

Kevin Martin (wrist) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

He wasn't able to practice on Saturday and he is reportedly still dealing with some swelling in his wrist, so he is probably closer to doubtful. Martin is still worth a stash for his upside in points and 3-pointers, but his owners will have to be patent as he will likely be eased into action when he does return. If Martin can't play, Robbie Hummel will continue to start for Minnesota.

The Utah Jazz announced that they have signed Elijah Millsap to a multi-year deal on Sunday, but no details have been released just yet.

He was previously with the Jazz on a couple of 10-day contracts, so obviously he did enough to make his stay in Utah permanent. Millsap is currently averaging 5.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 20.4 minutes per game this season, but is still only worth a look in deeper leagues unless his role grows substantially.

Amir Johnson is dealing with a sore left shoulder and is considered questionable to play vs. Detroit on Sunday.

He was benched during the second half of Friday's game and this could be one of the reasons why. We will update Johnson's status when we know more but owners should have a backup plan ready. If Johnson sits, Patrick Patterson has been on fire lately and would be worth a look in most leagues while he is this hot. Stay tuned.

Hassan Whiteside will play against the Bulls on Sunday.

He did say his ankle was at 90 percent, but he has simply been too good to keep out of lineups. We will let you know how his ankle holds up after the game. Chris Andersen's value takes a big hit with this news and can be dropped in most leagues.

Amare Stoudemire suffered a sprained ankle and a sprained wrist during Saturday's game with Charlotte.

"I suffered a sprained ankle and sprained right wrist,’’ Stoudemire said. "It was a lot of physical contact out there. A lot of my moves attacking the basket, I got swiped down on it, caught my wrist almost every time. I tried to play through it but I was struggling. I couldn’t be myself out there.’’ The news just keeps getting worse for Amare, and it's already known that his knee is also a major concern moving forward. At this point it is safe to assume that Amare doesn't have a great shot to play on Monday vs. the Kings, but we will be sure to monitor his status closely. If he does end up sitting, expect to see more of Cole Aldrich, Jason Smith, Lou Amundson and Lance Thomas.
Jan 25 - 11:30 AM

Joakim Noah (ankle) will in fact play against the Miami Heat on Sunday.

You just knew he wouldn't miss the opportunity to play against the Heat and owners can comfortably pencil him into their lineups. Noah has had a underwhelming season so far but his value will only go up if he can avoid another injury. Taj Gibson's value takes a hit with this news, but he is still worth owning in most leagues.

Kemba Walker is set to have an MRI on his knee and surgery is reportedly not off the table.

He has been dealing with a cyst in his left knee since high school so it's very surprising to see it flare up now. There is no indication as to when Walker will be evaluated, but we would expect another report soon. Walker's owners shouldn't panic just yet, and should wait until further details are released before doing anything drastic. Should Walker miss any time, Brian Roberts will likely step into a starting role with Lance Stephenson and Gary Neal also handling the ball more. Stay tuned.

Jose Calderon's (knee) status for Monday's game against Sacramento is uncertain at this point according to coach Derek Fisher.

Coach Fisher did say that Calderon was making good progress, but we would guess that he is closer to doubtful considering that he didn't even make the trip to Charlotte on Saturday. If Calderon is unable to play, Langston Galloway will get another chance to run the show for New York with Shane Larkin picking up a few more minutes off the bench. If you are in need of a guard, Galloway deserves a long look.

There is a "strong belief" within the Pistons that Brandon Jennings tore his left Achilles on Saturday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Sadly, all signs support this claim. Jennings was in agonizing pain at the time of the injury and couldn't put any weight on his leg. Those who have torn their Achilles before have mentioned it felt like being drilled with a baseball in their lower leg, which seemed to be the case for Jennings. The Pistons will conduct an MRI to confirm the damage, but fantasy owners in all re-draft leagues should consider Jennings out for the season. D.J. Augustin is expected to start and is worth owning in all standard leagues. Spencer Dinwiddie will also get more run.

LaMarcus Aldridge looked fantastic in his shocking return to the lineup on Saturday during a 103-96 victory over the Wizards, making 9-of-22 from the field for 26 points with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes.

He wore a brace on his thumb and didn't seem to be too bothered with his injury. Aldridge was hit on his bad hand a few times and was not in visible pain. Additionally he had some interesting comments today. Before the game, Aldridge said that he is going to try to play through the injury, but he did leave the door open of him changing his mind. Following the game, he said the Blazers losing two games in a row before tonight factored into his decision. Aldridge also said "of course" when he was asked about his thumb hurting. He didn't mention Nicolas Batum (wrist) directly, but reading between the lines suggests that was a factor, too. Aldridge is going to be a volatile fantasy property, but he's a must start player while he's active.

Wesley Matthews extended his league lead for made 3-pointers with five more on Saturday, scoring a total of 19 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and no turnovers.

He is going to play more minutes at small forward, which is fine. Matthews has 10 starts at small forward in his career and he's been shuffled in at small forward even when the Blazers are at full strength. Whatever his role, Iron Man has a chance to lead the NBA in treys this season while launching tons of imaginary arrows.
