Shawn Marion grabbed a season-high 17 boards to go with 18 points, one assist and one steal on 8-of-11 shooting 35 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

Back in December, he was very productive with Dirk Nowitzki (adductor) out of the lineup and in the six games before Dirk made his debut, Marion averaged 13.3 points and 10.5 boards. What's more, Marion has been solid in his last four games and he's worth owning in standard leagues while Dirk is on the shelf.

David West (illness) will not play against the Bucks on Thursday.

He is dealingg with an allergic reaction and it's unknown if this has anything to do with his Friday illness that caused him to play just 12 minutes. With West out, Luis Scola will step in and get most of the minutes at power forward. The Pacers will also likely count on the rest of their starting five to pick up more of the scoring burden.
Mar 26 - 7:07 PM

Rodney Hood (illness) did not travel with the team for their road-game in Denver.

We'll be considering Hood doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Nuggets, and if he is indeed unavailable, Elijah Millsap and Joe Ingles will have the opportunity to play extended minutes. Stay tuned.
Mar 26 - 6:35 PM

Gordon Hayward (shoulder) is being listed as probable for Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Hayward spent the past two games on the sidelines, but it appears he'll be able to return to the lineup on Friday for a favorable matchup against the Nuggets. With Hayward back, Elijah Millsap and Trey Burke would be candidates to head back to the bench. Check back for another update on Hayward's status closer to Friday's tip.
Mar 26 - 6:29 PM

O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will play Thursday against the Pacers.

Mayo was limited to just six minutes when he returned to action on Tuesday, but head coach Jason Kidd said he'll "add minutes" for Mayo tonight. That's a pretty vague quote, but we doubt Mayo would see his minutes much higher than the 20s. With a tough matchup against the Pacers, and a lot of uncertainty around how much floor time Mayo will see tonight, he's not a great option in most leagues.
Mar 26 - 6:28 PM

Jared Dudley (knee) will play Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Dudley had some good stretches during the season, but his play has really fallen off during the month of March with averages of just 2.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game on 22.2 percent shooting from the field. He'll likely be eased back into the rotation, so it's safe to leave Dudley on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.
Mar 26 - 6:20 PM

Patrick Beverley is reportedly seeking to get a second opinion on the torn ligament in his left wrist to decide whether or not he will need to undergo surgery.

We'll be monitoring this situation closely, but with Beverley set to miss at least the next week of action, he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will man the point guard position in his absence, but neither guy is really capable of doing enough on the stat sheet to be considered a viable option in standard leagues.
Mar 26 - 5:48 PM

Dwyane Wade (knee) is questionable to play Friday vs. Atlanta.

Wade was forced to spend Wednesday's game on the sidelines, which resulted in Mario Chalmers sliding into the starting unit, although he only managed to put up six points and seven assists over 37 minutes of action. If Wade is again unavailable on Friday, look for Goran Dragic and Luol Deng to do the heavy lifting on offense, with Chalmers and Henry Walker likely seeing extended minutes.
Mar 26 - 5:29 PM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) is being listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. Atlanta

Udonis Haslem stepped up in a big way on Wednesday with Whiteside unavailable, putting up 12 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals through 38 minutes of action, so he'll be worth a look on Friday if Whiteside can't go. Beasley on the other hand only managed to log 14 minutes with minimal contributions to the stat sheet, so he's not a great guy to target in Hassan's absence.
Mar 26 - 5:25 PM

Nikola Pekovic (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Rockets.

It would be easier if the Timberwolves would just go ahead and announce that Pek will be shutdown for the season, but until that happens, we'll continue to post updates stating that he's out and belongs on the waiver wire. Justin Hamilton (migraines) returned to action on Wednesday, but only managed to log nine minutes off the bench. However, he was playing very well for Minnesota before going down, so if you have some dead weight on your roster, it makes sense to take a flier on Hamilton with the hopes he'll soon get a decent amount of minutes playing for a Minnesota team that has been devastated by injuries.
Mar 26 - 5:04 PM

Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful to play Friday vs. the Rockets.

If Rubio is again unavailable, it would be his fifth consecutive game on the sidelines, and Zach LaVine would draw yet another start. LaVine has been excellent over the past four games, averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 4.8 turnovers per game, so he's worth a look in all standard leagues if you can live with the turnovers.
Mar 26 - 4:55 PM

Kevin Martin (hamstring) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Houston.

Martin was "available to play" on Wednesday, but he never left the bench. Owners can expect to get another update on Martin following Friday morning's shootaround, and if he's unable to go, Chase Budinger and Lorenzo Brown will again be forced into heavy minutes for the short-handed Timberwolves. Budinger has been playing some great ball lately, and he'll be worth a look in daily leagues in Martin is indeed unavailable. Stay tuned.
