The NBPA executive committee "has placed executive director Billy Hunter on a leave of absence," a source told Yahoo! Sports, and NBPA counsel Ron Klempner has been made interim executive director.

This is only going to get uglier for Hunter, who has attempted to save face in the wake of some seriously negative evidence of his tenure coming to light. Yahoo! Sports is also reporting that this leave of absence is the "first step in a process" to have Hunter removed permanently.

The Kings and Marco Belinellli have agreed to a three-year, $19 million deal.

Well, Vivek Ranadive's money is still good. The Kings have whiffed on every noteworthy free agent until now, so Belinelli may actually have a chance to start -- that's unlikely and Ben McLemore is still the heavy favorite. Plus, the Kings desperately need 3-point shooting, so he is likely going to have a chance to score in double figures. He'll be a sneaky late-round specialist for 3-pointers.

The Knicks are finalizing a four-year, $54 million deal with Robin Lopez.

It's still not completely official yet because DeAndre Jordan has a microscopic chance to choose the Knicks, but this sounds like a done deal. While that's a massive contract for a guy who only had a 15.6 usage rate and only a 12.3 defensive rebound rate last season, Lopez is really a nice fit for the Knicks. Ro-Lo was also very good at rim protection last year, which was a bad weakness for the Knicks. He'll be an interesting standard league target in the 75-100 range.

Justise Winslow said on Friday he will work almost exclusively at shooting guard and small forward during summer league.

He has size at 6'7, so that will really help him on the defensive side of the ball. Winslow played some three and four with Duke, but coach Erik Spoelstra has shifted more to a position-less approach with his guys. Winslow getting minutes at shooting guard bodes well for his fantasy value because it'll just be another avenue for minutes.

LaMarcus Aldridge currently has no more planned meetings and will take a couple days to digest it all, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

There are a lot of players and teams waiting on LaMarcus, but we might not get word of his decision until Monday. Teams have been saying Aldridge has been asking some very tough questions about hoops, so some credit should probably go to Terry Stotts.
Jul 3 - 1:12 PM

Unrestricted free agent Rodney Stuckey is registering interest from the Cavs and the interest is mutual.

Stuckey would be a very interesting fit. Last season, he somehow increased his 3-point shooting by 10 percent from his previous career average. The Cavs really need shooters around LeBron to space the floor, so maybe a guy like J.R. Smith is a better fit. Stuckey has interest from the Bulls, Wizards, Rockets and of course the Kings. The Cavs probably won't be signing Stuckey.

Coach Gregg Popovich is looking for another meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge on Friday or Saturday.

Additionally, Pat Riley encouraged LaMarcus to sign a short deal, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com. Aldridge is reportedly done with meeting teams, but maybe he'll give the Spurs another chance like he did with the Lakers. The Spurs are still the favorites.
Jul 3 - 12:11 PM

Unrestricted free agent DeAndre Jordan will make a decision in the next few days.

Jordan is said to be debating between the Mavs and the Clippers, with no one team being a clear favorite right now. The Clippers have the ability to offer Jordan an extra year and about $28 million more than the Mavs can offer, and his close relationship with head coach Doc Rivers is a selling point. Jordan did however meet with the Mavs for 4.5 hours, so he was obviously interested in what they had to say and reportedly walked away "impressed" with the team's presentation. Wherever Jordan lands, he'll make for an excellent early-round selection due to his ability to rack up monster totals in the rebounding and shot blocking categories.
Jul 3 - 11:04 AM

Unrestricted free agent Lou Williams is set to meet with the Kings on Friday.

Williams could potentially slide into the starting shooting guard position with the Kings, so he could potentially see a small boost in value in Sacramento. Williams averaged 15.5 points, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 three-pointers per game on his way to winning the Sixth Man of the Year award during the 2014-15 season, and he'll be worthy of a late-round selection regardless of where he winds up.
Jul 3 - 10:17 AM

The Kings will reportedly meet with Josh Smith on Friday.

Sacramento continues to lose out on the big name free agents, despite the ability to throw plenty of money at them, so it looks like the apparent dysfunction in the Kings front office is steering some perspective free agents away. The Rockets would like to try and re-sign Smith, but that could become tricky depending on the kind of deal Patrick Beverley earns. The Kings have expressed interest in Smith before, and it'll be interesting to see if they can acquire his services via free agency.
Jul 3 - 10:11 AM

The Cavs and Matthew Dellavedova are reportedly closing in on a multi-year deal.

The deal will reportedly give Delly an annual salary in the $3-5 million range, and it sounds like he'll be returning to Cleveland next season. Dellavedova is a decent guy to target in daily leagues when Kyrie Irving is unavailable, but he won't be worth drafting in most leagues as the backup point guard in Cleveland.
Jul 3 - 10:01 AM

Wesley Matthews has agreed to a four-year deal with the Mavericks.

The details have not been revealed yet, but it's likely less than the four-year, $64 million offer from the Kings. Matthews will step into Monta Ellis' role at shooting guard and should have plenty of chances to score, especially with the Mavs not having as much firepower as the Blazers last season. It's also worth mentioning that Wes wants to play with DeAndre Jordan, so this helps Dallas in that regard. As for the Kings, they might want to bring a Connect Four game to their meeting with Rajon Rondo.
