Chris Paul (knee) has not resumed practicing and will not play against the Celtics on Sunday.

He's been out since January 22 and notion of the Clippers just playing it safe with their star point guard isn't quite as well supported as it once was. Eric Bledsoe will continue to start and should remain in all lineups. Unfortunately for Paul, his knee could keep him out of action for the upcoming week and there remains no timetable for his return.

Joel Embiid (foot) said that he's feeling "a hundred percent" healthy.

Players are always overly optimistic when given the chance to self-assess, but this is obviously notable given how the first two years of Embiid's NBA career have gone. Embiid added that it's been "really tough" to be forced to watch from the sidelines, but he's obviously eager to get on the floor and contribute in any possible way. The Sixers have been incredibly tight-lipped regarding Embiid's possible role, and it doesn't help that the team still currently has both Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor on its roster. For what it's worth, Embiid did say that he'll "probably" having playing restrictions, something we already knew was coming.

Mo Williams is "strongly considering retirement," multiple sources told Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com

Even if Mo Butta does not retire, the Cavs could rid of him using the stretch provision prior to Wednesday's deadline or look to trade him to another club. Currently under contract for $2.2 million for the 2016-17 campaign, Williams is considering going out on top as an NBA champion. Vardon cites a "desire to coach" and a "balky knee" as the major factors in the veteran point guard's thinking. For what it's worth, Williams was limited to just 41 games last season. Rookie Kay Felder is the only other point guard on the roster right now behind Kyrie Irving.

The Utah Jazz have officially waived PG Kendall Marshall.

He was a member of the Jazz for less than two hours after the 76ers traded him for Tibor Pleiss on Friday morning. Marshall will be a free agent if he clears waivers and could get a training camp invite, but he's not worth monitoring in fantasy leagues until further notice.

Kendall Marshall has been traded to the Jazz in exchange for Tibor Pleiss, two second-round picks and cash.

The Jazz are planning on waiving Marshall before his $2 million contract becomes guaranteed on Saturday, so he's going to be a free agent. There are a few teams around the league that are still in need of a backup PG, so he should be able to draw some interest. He's off the fantasy radar for now.

Mario Chalmers (Achilles) has been cleared to return to the court.

This is a big step for the free agent as he continues to recover from his Achilles tear from March. Chalmers will generate some interest around the league, but he's unlikely to see enough minutes to make a difference in standard fantasy leagues.

Marc Gasol (foot) said all indications show that his foot is healing as expected.

While Gasol told a Spanish newspaper that he was a few weeks away from playing in the Olympics, it sounds like he could be ready for training camp. "I'm really well and looking forward to starting [the season]," Gasol said. "I miss the competition, playing and enjoying basketball. All indications are that the foot is fine. I've practiced with the [Girona basketball club] juniors all I could, especially half-court sets." We'll keep an eye on the big man's recovery as training camp nears, but Gasol will be a risky fantasy pick until we know more.

Stan Van Gundy said that Andre Drummond must "do what it takes on the mental level to get himself ready to play every night."

According to Van Gundy, consistent effort from Drummond "hasn’t quite happened yet ... He’s not quite there all the time to where he’s ready to go." SVG went on to praise Drummond's incredible potential and his dedication to offseason improvement, adding that he's "taken a different approach to his free-throw shooting [this summer]." He may simply be trying to light a fire under Drummond, but either way it's refreshing to hear more than the usual offseason pablum.

Festus Ezeli had his left knee injected with a bone marrow aspirate concentrate on Tuesday, and he will be sidelined for the next six weeks.

While Ezeli has plenty of time to get himself ready for the start of the 2016-17 season, this report is a bit concerning as Ezeli's knees have been a problem throughout his career, and this is the same knee that required arthroscopic surgery back in February. We currently have Ezeli penciled in as the third-string center in Portland, and it's going to be tough for him to change that, particularly if he's forced to spend the beginning of training camp on the sidelines. He's off the radar in most leagues.

Lakers sign F Brandon Ingram.

Ingram signed his rookie deal on Tuesday, making the No. 2 overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft an official member of the Lakers. Ingram will likely open the season backing up Luol Deng, so we may not see much fantasy value out of him until later in the season. While he possesses tons of upside, Ingram is better left to the later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Kevin Durant was brilliant in Team USA’s 96-66 win over Serbia on Sunday, going 10-of-19 from the field and 5-of-6 from the stripe on his way to 30 points.

Durant helped spark the US offense, and was one of the primary reasons why the US closed out the first half of action on a 40-15 run, as he seemingly easily put in 24 points by halftime. Durant also chipped in three boards, five triples, four assists, two steals, one block and two turnovers through 30 minutes of action, and he’ll make for a fine top-3 selection on draft day. As a side note, this was KD's second straight gold medal performance with 30 points.

Pau Gasol scored 31 points to lead Spain past Australia for the Bronze medal on Sunday.

Gasol was excellent, hitting 12-of-15 shots from the field with 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes. He was also a bit fortunate because Andrew Bogut fouled out in the third, but it was still an epic performance. Gasol is uncertain about his future with international play, but keep in mind that he would be 40 years old in the next Olympic games.
