An MRI revealed that Sasha Pavlovic has a slight tear in the muscle of his left foot, and he expects to miss between 2-10 days.

The timetable Pavlovic gave is unorthodox but it's also not that bad considering the circumstances. With Wesley Matthews (ankle) also banged up, we may see Victor Claver step into a bigger role in the short term.

Rajon Rondo (thumb) is "preparing to attempt to play" in Game 5 vs. Boston on Wednesday according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

This is a huge surprise because Rondo was initially ruled out. He was spotted getting up some shots at Tuesday's practice, but we should have a better idea of his status after the morning shootaround. If he plays, he will obviously be limited. Expect Isaiah Canaan to be the starter if Rondo can't get clearance.
Apr 25 - 9:18 PM

David Lee will remain in the starting lineup for Game 5 vs. the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

While Dewayne Dedmon (illness) is available, coach Gregg Popovich said he will stick with the veteran. Lee played 33 minutes in Game 4, but wasn't too effective with eight points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal. With that said, he should fare better tonight and is on the radar in DFS if you're looking for a cheap PF option.
Apr 25 - 7:17 PM

Jusuf Nurkic said he expects his leg to be fully healed in 2-3 months.

Nurkic has plenty of time to get himself ready for the 2017-18 season, and we'll be sure to track his progress every step of the way. The Portland players universally praised Nurkic at their exit interviews for his impressive play as a member of the Trail Blazers, and he could be in a for a big year next season as their full-time starter. Nurkic put in averages of 15.2 points, 7.1 boards, 3.2 dimes, 1.3 steals and 1.9 blocks through 20 games with the Blazers, and he said he'll be working on his 3-point shot this offseason, so he could take another big leap in Year-3.
Apr 25 - 4:05 PM

Gordon Hayward (illness) will play without any minutes limit in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Clippers.

Hayward left Sunday's Game 4 after just nine minutes of floor time, but it sounds like he's recovered from the food poisoning episode, so he should be able to get out there for 30-plus minutes tonight. Assuming Hayward gets a full alottment of minutes, that'll likely translate to less run for guys like Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson.
Apr 25 - 3:06 PM

Stephen Curry scored 37 points in a 128-103 win as the Warriors swept the Blazers 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs.

The Warriors buried the Blazers early on with a 45-point first quarter which ties the postseason record and is something that has only been done by three other teams. Curry was completely unconscious tonight, hitting 12-of-20 shots and 6-of-7 from the line with seven 3-pointers, eight assists, seven rebounds and two steals in just 30 minutes. The Warriors will now get 5-7 days of rest and will face the winner of the series between the Jazz and Clippers.
Apr 25 - 1:42 AM

Damian Lillard scored 34 points in a 128-103 blowout loss as the Blazers were swept 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs against the Warriors.

Lillard predicted that the Blazers would win the series in six games, but to his credit, he certainly did his part. He played 42 minutes and shot 12-of-24 from the field with six assists, one rebound, one steal and two triples, outscoring the other four Portland starters 34-15. Lillard finished the regular season as a top-20 player in standard fantasy leagues, averaging 27.0 points, 5.9 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 2.9 triples on 44.4 percent shooting. Barring some roster moves, Portland's core will be intact next season, so expect a similar role for Dame in 2017-18.
Apr 25 - 1:15 AM

Paul Millsap flirted with a triple-double in Monday's Game 4 win over the Wizards, scoring 19 points with nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one triple.

Markieff Morris called him a "crybaby" after Game 3, so this victory had to feel good and Millsap said on Sunday that he has enjoyed the banter so far. "It’s fun. I’m enjoying this. It’s been an interesting series," he said. "It’s also been one of the most fun series I’ve been a part of. I’m enjoying every minute of it." Millsap has been dominant in this series and was averaging 25.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his previous three games, so it's easy to see why Hawks owner Tony Ressler said this week that he will "make every effort imaginable" to re-sign him this summer.

Dennis Schroder scored 18 points to lead the Hawks to a 111-101 Game 4 win over the Wizards on Monday to tie the series 2-2, adding three rebounds, one assist and two triples in 28 minutes.

He picked up three fouls in the first quarter and didn't even play in the second, but he won this game for the Hawks. Schroder notched all 18 of his points after the break including 10 in the fourth quarter, and he hit a few huge daggers down the stretch to put this one out of reach. These playoffs have been his coming out party so far, as he was averaging 25.0 points and 8.0 assists in his previous three games.
Apr 24 - 11:43 PM

Bradley Beal scored 32 points in Monday's Game 4 111-101 loss to Atlanta, adding five rebounds, two assists, two steals and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Despite shooting 39.7 percent from the field in the first three games of the series, Beal kept firing away tonight and finished 11-of-23 from the field. He recently said that he removed the word "miss" from his vocabulary to keep his confidence high, and with Beal getting back into a rhythm tonight, the Wizards should be confident with the series shifting back to Washington for Game 5 on Wednesday.
Apr 24 - 10:57 PM

Meyers Leonard will draw the start in Game 4 vs. the Warriors on Monday.

Leonard scored a combined two points in the first two games of the series and was a DNP-CD in Game 3, but he will get another chance with Jusuf Nurkic (leg) sitting this one out. He's been a huge letdown all season and there's no reason to trust him in fantasy lineups with Portland's season on the line. Noah Vonleh and Al-Farouq Aminu should be more involved tonight as well.
Apr 24 - 10:26 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo's 30 points weren't enough in a 118-93 loss to the Raptors in Game 5 on Monday.

He was coming off a 6-of-19 FG performance in Game 4 and got off to a nightmare start in the first quarter by hitting 1-of-6 shots, but he finally got things going in the second quarter when he hit all six of shots. Giannis finished the night 12-of-19 from the field in 41 minutes with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks, but simply didn't have enough help -- only two of his teammates scored in double digits. The Bucks now trail the Raptors (3-2) for the first time in this series and will look to save their season in Game 6 on Thursday at home.
