Shawn Marion shot 10-of-14 from the field for 23 points with one board, three steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes against the Thunder on Monday.

He's cruising along in his last five games, averaging 17.0 points, 9.4 boards, 1.2 blocks and 1.4 steals in 31.2 minutes. Dirk Nowitzki not playing has helped his cause, but Marion is definitely worth owning in standard leagues while he's hot like this.

Unrestricted free agent Chandler Parsons was "really impressed" with Portland's presentation, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com.

Parsons has a meeting set up with the Grizzlies on Friday, but the Blazers should be considered as the favorites. They had owner Paul Allen, coach Terry Stotts, general manager Neil Olshey and Damian Lillard in the presentation to help show their vision for Parsons. He's coming off a big knee injury, but Parsons was fantastic after the break with averages of 17.6 points, 5.6 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.4 treys on a sterling 63.5 true shooting percentage.

Unrestricted free agent Eric Gordon "has emerged as Knicks' top perimeter target," according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

The report adds the sides are "starting to discuss parameters of a possible deal." Derrick Rose reportedly reached out to Gordon, who joins Rose with a slew of injuries in his last few seasons. The Knicks are reportedly going to throw a lot of money at Joakim Noah, but the good news is they'll get some help at their two biggest needs. Gordon would lose fantasy value with the Knicks compared to last season.

The Kings, Hawks, Mavericks and Bucks have all reached out to the camp of restricted free agent Matthew Dellavedova.

The Cavs are likely going to retain Dellavedova, but they might have a hard time bringing him back if any of those teams offer a huge deal. Dellavedova will head into his age-26 season, so this contract will be at his prime. That said, his ceiling is likely as a career backup.

DeMar DeRozan has decided to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors on a reported five-year contract worth at least $139 million.

He met with the Raptors at the start of free agency and Toronto quickly closed the deal, giving the two-time All-Star just a shade below the full max -- his full max would have been $153 million. DeRozan had a disappointing postseason, but the free agency crop at guard is very thin, and the move keeps Toronto's improving roster intact. He will turn 27 in August, so the Raptors will get him at the tail end of his prime.

The Lakers and Timofey Mozgov have agreed to four-year, $65 million deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

He's the first unrestricted deal to get done, which is saying something for a guy who saw four DNP-CDs in the final 10 games of the postseason. The Lakers really needed a center, so this is what they believed his market value would be. Mozgov's annual average salary will in the neighborhood of John Wall, who voiced his displeasure about Reggie Jackson matching his pay. Obviously, these contracts will be huge this month. Expect Mozgov to get more minutes with the Lakers than with the Cavs.
Jul 1 - 1:15 AM

According to David Aldridge of NBA.com, the Lakers are interested in free agent forward Evan Turner.

Additionally, the interest is said to be mutual. Turner is drawing a ton of interest and has been linked to the Pelicans, Bulls, Knicks and Celtics, so he's going to get a serious paycheck. In terms of fantasy value, the Lakers would be a great spot for Turner given their lack of depth on the wings.

The Jazz are expected to be very aggressive on unrestricted free agent Luol Deng, according to Adrian Wojnarowski on The Vertical Free Agent Show.

The report adds the Clippers and Wolves are interested. The Jazz have a decent amount of wings, but do need a little depth at small forward. Rodney Hood broke out last year as one of the main ball-handlers and played very well next to Gordon Hayward, so they are solid in the first unit. Deng's 32.4 minutes per game from last season would likely drop as he heads into his age-31 season.

Unrestricted free agent Chandler Parsons is meeting with the Blazers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

According to the report, the Blazers are going to offer a four-year max. General manager Neil Olshey, coach Terry Stotts, Damian Lillard and owner Paul Allen will be meeting with Parsons. He's done with Dallas and the Blazers seem to be the heavy favorite to add him. Signing Parsons would make it less likely the Blazers can re-sign Allen Crabbe and/or Moe Harkless.

The Nets are "making a push" for restricted free agent Allen Crabbe, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.

The Blazers are almost certainly going to match, assuming they don't land a big-name free agent. Crabbe is widely viewed as an underrated wing for his defense and improved shooting. Plus, his ball-handling improved dating back to 2015 Summer League. He played 31.0 minutes per game in the Warriors postseason series and grew throughout the year, too.
Jul 1 - 12:34 AM

The Wizards and free agent Bradley Beal are reportedly "nearing" agreement on a five-year, $128 million maximum contract.

Washington has long been expected to offer Beal a max deal, despite recurring leg injuries that forced him to miss 27 games last season. By quickly reaching an agreement but officially signing Beal late in free agency, they can also proceed with roughly $30 million in cap space to spend elsewhere. All signs point to the Wizards locking up Beal for the long-haul.
Jul 1 - 12:31 AM

Unrestricted free agent Joakim Noah and the Knicks are in discussions on the framework of a deal in range of four years, $70 million-plus, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Interesting. It's very odd to see a team offer four years on Noah, who really has struggled to stay healthy and is now 31 years old. There are also a decent amount of centers out there on the market, so investing this amount of money this early is surprising. The Knicks and Noah are expected to meet in Orlando on Friday.
