Tom Thibodeau said Joakim Noah (foot) will play against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Noah has been targeting Thursday for his return from plantar fasciitis for a few days now and the Bulls are likely to ease him back into his role prior to the injury. He averages 38.6 minutes per game this year, which is tops among centers, so his owners shouldn't be expecting anything near that especially with Taj Gibson playing well.

Kyle Lowry put up 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting during Sunday's win, adding nine assists, four rebounds, two 3-pointers, three steals, and four turnovers.

Lowry also shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe as his career-year continues. He's hitting career-highs in points (19.4) and assists (7.8) this season, and is the main reason the Raptors currently own a record of 21-6 despite not having DeMar DeRozan. Keep rolling him out there as he establishes himself as an elite point guard in the league.
Dec 21 - 7:05 PM

Carmelo Anthony played 37 minutes during Sunday's loss, scoring 28 points on 12-of-26 shooting to go with five rebounds, three assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, and two turnovers.

The minutes suggest that Melo's knee is healthy, but with the Knicks owning a record of 5-24, there's always going to be talk of him shutting things down. Carmelo remains an elite option while he's in uniform, but owners may want to seriously consider selling high.
Dec 21 - 6:37 PM

Jose Calderon put up 15 points and 10 assists against his former team on Sunday, while adding one 3-pointer, three rebounds, and two turnovers.

Calderon is averaging just 8.5 points, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers per game this season over 30 minutes of action. However, his numbers have been trending up lately, and he's scored 15, 21, and 12 points in his last three outings. He remains a buy-low candidate, but with New York being the mess that they are, there are no guarantees he turns things around.
Dec 21 - 6:29 PM

Chris Bosh said that he's hopeful to suit up for Miami's Christmas day game vs. the Cavs, but he also said that worst-case he'll be out another month.

"It’s a possibility, I think," Bosh said of playing this week. "That’s me being a glass-half-full kind of guy. It’s a work in progress, man." Bosh is being pretty vague with his quotes, so all owners can do is hope that he's ready to go soon. He has made significant progress the past few days, but he still needs to work on his conditioning, as he still hasn't been able to run. Shawne Williams has slid into the starting lineup, but he can only be viewed as a 3-point specialist in deeper leagues for now.
Dec 21 - 5:59 PM

Tony Parker (hamstring) has already been ruled out for Monday's game.

Cory Joseph will continue to start at PG in Parker's absence and could be a sneaky play in weekly leagues, as Parker hasn't yet targeted a return date. Hamstring injuries are notoriously easy to aggravate, which is all the more reason for San Antonio to play it safe with their All-Star guard.
Dec 21 - 5:57 PM

Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring) have both been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Clippers.

Leonard was reportedly targeting Monday for his return, so the early cancellation of the plan isn't a great sign for his fantasy owners. The silver lining is that San Antonio also plays on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, so both Leonard and Parker could potentially have three-game weeks despite Monday's DNP. Until those two get back on the court, Kyle Anderson and Cory Joseph are the biggest fantasy winners.
Dec 21 - 5:51 PM

C.J. Watson (illness) will start vs. the Timberwolves on Sunday.

Watson missed one game with a sinus infection and he should be fine from a conditioning standpoint, while his return sends Donald Sloan back to the Pacers' bench. Watson is worth a look for temporary points and assists.
Dec 21 - 5:49 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans, and Perry Jones will draw the start.

With Durant sidelined, expect Russell Westbrook to have another big game, and he'll make for an excellent plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Perry Jones and Reggie Jackson will also be asked to step up, however Jones didn't do much with his last start, so he'll be a risky option in dailies. We'll be considering Durant questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Portland.
Dec 21 - 5:34 PM

Dwyane Wade (bruised knee) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

This will be the first game that Wade misses this season due to a knee injury, but he does have a history with knee injuries, so we'll be watching this situation closely. Look for Mario Chalmers and Luol Deng to be the primary options on offense, and both guys looks like quality plug-and-play options in daily leagues.
Dec 21 - 5:29 PM

Kyle O'Quinn will start Sunday vs. the 76ers, sending Channing Frye to the bench.

O'Quinn will draw a very favorable matchup today against the 76ers, and he'll make for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Frye has been struggling lately, and a move to the bench isn't going to do him any favors, we'll let you know how they fare after the game.
Dec 21 - 5:13 PM

Elfrid Payton will draw the start at point guard for Sunday's game vs. the 76ers, shifting Victor Oladipo to shooting guard, and sending Evan Fournier to the bench.

Payton put up 11 points and 11 assists during his last outing, so his arrow is pointing up. He does however hurt owners with poor percentages (39.6 percent from the field and 47.0 percent from the line) so his upside is limited. Owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach.
