Jamal Crawford (shoulder) is game-time decision against the Heat on Friday.

Crawford's shoulder injury kept him out of Wednesday's game, and while he's still playing through a broken nose, he was able to practice on Thursday and is hopeful to play against Miami on Friday. If he is forced out, and that looks to be a strong possibility Eric Bledsoe should see an increased role even if Chris Paul (knee) returns.

Anthony Davis' 36 points weren't enough in a 108-100 loss to the Jazz on Monday.

AD did everything he could, finishing 12-of-23 from the field and 11-of-14 from the line with 17 rebounds, three assists, three steals, three blocks and one triple in 41 minutes. This was his third straight game with 30+ points and 15+ rebounds which is tied for the 2nd longest streak in the last 20 seasons. The loss means the Pelicans are now 4.5 games behind the No. 8 seed (Blazers) with eight games remaining, so Davis' owners do have to worry about a potential shut-down once his team is mathematically eliminated.

Rudy Gobert was dominant against the Pelicans on Monday with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, 19 rebounds, one assist, one steal and five blocks in 40 minutes.

Gobert publicly called out some of his teammates after Saturday's loss to the Clippers for not competing, but the Jazz held a team meeting after those comments and Gobert later apologized to his teammates. "For us to have players that have passion is a good thing," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said. "We’ve talked about the best way to communication to one another. In that moment, I think Rudy was emotional and enthusiastic after the game." The Jazz looked cohesive tonight and Gobert was "set straight" by his teammates, so this shouldn't be an issue going forward.

Joe Ingles started in place of Gordon Hayward (quad) in Monday's 108-100 win over the Pelicans and scored 19 points in 35 minutes.

The Jazz were running a lot of offense through him down the stretch and he delivered, scoring 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter -- he even hit a step-back jumper over Anthony Davis in the final two minutes. He finished 7-of-13 from the field and hit all five of his 3-pointers, adding four rebounds, four assists and one steal. He won't be this good, but give him a look if we learn that Hayward will miss more time. Ingles averaged 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.0 triples in 20 previous starts this season.

Kyrie Irving managed just eight points on 4-of-13 shooting in Monday's 103-74 blowout loss in San Antonio.

Remember the Alamo? Remember when the Cavaliers were in first place in the Eastern Conference? That was earlier in the day. Kyrie, LeBron and the wine and gold slipped to a half-game back of the idle Boston Celtics for the top spot in the East with this embarrassing, costly loss. The Cavs are not a well-oiled machine right now and they have precious few days to get it together before the games really start to be meaningful. The eight points for Irving matched his worst since a 3-of-17 shooting performance Nov. 5, 2016 at Philadelphia.
Mar 27 - 11:36 PM

LeBron James (neck) did not return to Monday's game at San Antonio after taking an elbow to the base of the neck in the third quarter.

James likely left as a precaution, perhaps his neck was hurt, but also a bit of his pride took a shot, too. The game was well out of hand by the point he checked out and went to the locker room. LeBron will have two full days to recover before the Cavaliers, now in second place in the Eastern Conference, hit the court in the Windy City on Thursday night.

Russell Westbrook hit the game-winning shot in Monday's 92-91 win over the Mavericks and triple-doubled with 37 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

He's been incredible all season, but he took it to another level tonight -- the Thunder closed with a 14-0 run and Westbrook had 12 of those points. He shot 15-of-30 from the field and 5-of-5 from the line with two steals and two triples, recording his 37th triple-double of the season. With nine games remaining, Westbrook is on pace to break Oscar Robertson's single-season record for triple-doubles (41). Mark Cuban is going to need some time to cool off after this performance.
Mar 27 - 11:14 PM

DeMar DeRozan dropped 36 points in a blowout win over the Magic on Monday.

He cooled down on Saturday with 18 points vs. Dallas after a pair of 40-point games, but the Magic had no answer for him tonight. DeRozan shot 13-of-21 from the field and 9-of-14 from the line with three assists, two rebounds and one triple in 36 minutes. Toronto has won six games in a row and are just 0.5 games behind the Wizards for the No. 3 seed in the East, so expect DeRozan to keep eating the rest of the way.
Mar 27 - 11:03 PM

Cory Joseph recorded the first double-double of his NBA career with 15 points and 13 assists in Monday's easy win over Orlando.

The 13 assists were a career-high and he also added six rebounds, one block, one triple and five turnovers in 29 minutes. CoJo finished 6-of-10 from the field, but only hit 2-of-4 from the free throw line. The Raptors still haven't announced when Kyle Lowry (wrist) will return, so keep rolling CoJo out there with three more games on the schedule this week.
Mar 27 - 10:48 PM

Kosta Koufos is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Monday.

The Kings will start Darren Collison, Buddy Hield, Garrett Temple, Willie Cauley-Stein and Koufos, meaning Skal Labissiere will come off the bench. Koufos is going to be rested too much going forward to help fantasy owners, so leave him on the wire.
Mar 27 - 10:31 PM

Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy said Monday he is unsure whether Reggie Jackson (knee) will be shut down for the season, but he is out Tuesday against the Heat.

With Jackson on the shelf it is Ish Smith who benefits the most. He and Beno Udrih will continue to fill the void until such point as Jackson is plugged back into the lineup. Jackson's fantasy owners hope that isn't until the 2017-18 season, but that possibility is looming.
Mar 27 - 10:16 PM

Elfrid Payton scored 22 points with nine assists in Monday's 131-112 loss to the Raptors.

He only grabbed one rebound and missed both of his 3-point attempts, but he shot an efficient 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line with one steal and one block in 31 minutes. Payton has been a new player since the All-Star break and was averaging 12.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 0.7 blocks and 1.7 steals in his previous 15 games, returning top-50 value in standard leagues in that span. He will have to prove to the front office that he's the point guard of the future, so expect him to finish the season strong.
