Byron Mullens scored 25 points with 18 boards, four assists and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes during Monday's win over the Celtics.

He shot 10-of-16 from the field and the Celtics had no answer for him. Mullens scored the team's first 10 points and never really slowed down. His last five games have been productive with averages of 17.6 points, 9.8 boards and 2.0 triples in 33.2 minutes. The 18 boards tonight were a career high and he shouldn't be on any waiver wires.

Jae Crowder has reportedly agreed to a five-year, $35 million deal with the Celtics.

The 76ers also received a first-round pick from the Kings and have swap rights with Sacramento in the first round of two other drafts.

If you thought the 76ers would do a trade and not get a first-round pick back, we hope you enjoy watching your first season of 76ers basketball.

The Kings reportedly made their trade of Carl Landry, Nik Stauskas and Jason Thompson to pursue Rajon Rondo along with either Wesley Matthews or Monta Ellis.

It's going to be very interesting to see how much money Rondo gets because no other team has been linked to him. This would also make for some outstanding reality TV, but we digress. Expect the Rondo deal to get done somewhat soon.
Jul 1 - 11:21 PM

Nik Stauskas has been traded to the 76ers.

Pat's and Geno's better get a menu item with Sauce Castillo on it. Delicious cheesesteak ideas aside, the Kings are clearing out salary so they can go after some free agents. The 76ers have some serious depth issues at guard, so Sauce could get plenty of playing time. Still, he hasn't done much to prove he's capable of putting up solid fantasy value.
Jul 1 - 11:12 PM

The Kings are trading Jason Thompson and Carl Landry as part of a salary dump to the 76ers.

So it turns out Sam Hinkie didn't take the day off today. Thompson was the longest tenured King on the roster, but now he may get some playing time with the 76ers. Although, there's a chance the team lets their young guys get minutes. Don't be too aggressive in targeting Thompson right now.
Jul 1 - 11:07 PM

Draymond Green and the Warriors have agreed on a five-year, $85 million deal.

There was no way any team had a chance to pry Draymond Green away from the Warriors. He will continue to get minutes at center and should have even more playing time next season. The Warriors are expected to try and deal David Lee, but that won't affect Green's playing time. He's a top-25 pick in fantasy leagues? Yeah.
Jul 1 - 10:58 PM

The Raptors and Mavericks are "in a battle" for Wesley Matthews, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Raptors just threw $60 million at DeMarre Carroll and Matthews is likely looking for a deal in that neighborhood. The Mavericks could potentially offer more money to Matthews and he would move into Monta Ellis' starting spot, assuming he heads to Indiana. It sounds like Wes' deal should be done in the next day or so.
Jul 1 - 10:29 PM

Anthony Davis was working on his 3-pointers at a workout on Wednesday.

Coach Alvin Gentry is going to unleash Davis and we, for one, are excited for our one-browed overlords. While he does carry more risk in fantasy than guys like Stephen Curry or James Harden, the upside is one of the highest of any player in this century. Also, you have a love a guy getting a $145 million extension and working out that day.

Unrestricted free agent Rodney Stuckey is "very much a possibility" for the Wizards.

He is hoping to land on a contender and be the team's sixth man. With the Wizards losing out on Paul Pierce, they're going to need some extra help on the bench. Stuckey wouldn't be worth drafting in standard fantasy leagues with the Wizards, though.
Jul 1 - 10:04 PM

J.J. Barea is leaning towards signing with the Heat.

The Heat are expected to try and deal Mario Chalmers, so the move makes sense. They never really were able to get consistent production at the point in the past few years and maybe Barea will help. He still wouldn't be worth drafting in standard leagues until more moves happen.

David West said the rumors about him going to the Knicks are ridiculous and that he wants to join a contender, according to Bob Kravitz of WTHR.

"At this point in my career, I just want to win," West said. "I'm just not sure the Pacers are in title contention right now. I'm going into my 13th season. I'll be 35 soon. When I got to Indiana, there was hope of getting there and we played at a really high level for a couple of years. But I just don't know if the team is in the position to win right now and I didn't know if I'd have that opportunity to win a title if I'd stayed with the Pacers." Tell us how you really feel, Mr. West.
