Tiago Splitter had 16 points, five rebounds, two steals and zero blocks in Monday's win over the Bulls, but he sprained his left ankle and had the injury wrapped and iced following the game.

Splitter said he should be able to play Wednesday, but Gregg Popovich could certainly choose to rest him with the All-Star break around the corner. Tim Duncan was out again tonight and Splitter has been enjoying his absence. Splitter's rebounding has been a little disappointing, as he's averaging less than six on the season, and has grabbed seven or fewer in five of his last six games. But he's averaging 29 minutes over his last five games, has scored in double figures in 16 straight and is averaging 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and a block over his last five.

Tony Parker (hamstring) is going to start on Monday against the Clippers and see limited minutes.

As per usual, there's no telling what limited means with the Spurs. One thing that is clear is that fantasy owners of Cory Joseph should dial down their expectations tonight. Parker is worth owning in standard leagues, but will likely rest a lot this season.
Dec 22 - 6:49 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) will not play on Monday night.

It'll be his second game out of the lineup and John Leuer will get another run in the starting lineup. Randolph owners will probably want to bench him considering this is a knee injury. Leuer is worth a look in standard leagues for short-term value.
Dec 22 - 6:40 PM

Landry Fields (concussion) will not play against the Bulls on Monday.

After he was cleared of a concussion on Saturday, the team eventually diagnosed him with one on Sunday. James Johnson played 24 minutes and had a decent line, so expect him to have a solid outing tonight, as well.
Dec 22 - 6:37 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) Will not play against the Rockets on Monday.

He has an upper respiratory infection and should be considered questionable for Tuesday against the Thunder. The Blazers have a total of four games this week, so Aldridge owners will probably want to still use him depending on the other options. Thomas Robinson is a great option tonight.
Dec 22 - 6:33 PM

Derrick Rose (illness) and Taj Gibson (ankle) are ready to play against the Raptors on Monday.

He was expected to play at shootaround earlier today, but there's always the need of confirmation on Rose. He missed tow games with an illness over the weekend and should be able to handle his normal workload. If you had Aaron Brooks, you can look to cut him in most leagues.
Dec 22 - 6:27 PM

Dwight Howard (shoulder), James Harden (hamstring) and Trevor Ariza (calf) will play against the Blazers.

They obviously were not going to sit against the Blazers. Howard's shoulder injury popped up over the weekend, but it didn't seem to be affect him. His fantasy owners can start him like they normally would.
Dec 22 - 6:17 PM

Danilo Gallinari (knee) will have surgery on his meniscus on Monday.

He is out indefinitely and the All-Star break seems like a fair estimation. Gallinari just can't stay on the court these days and the Nuggets might shut him down for the year. Wilson Chandler's minutes are safe while Alonzo Gee may also play more.
Dec 22 - 5:51 PM

Ty Lawson (back) will play against the Hornets on Monday.

He is dealing with back soreness and there is no word of him being limited. Lawson's bigger issue has been his ankle and he hasn't had too many back issues in his career, so his fantasy owners can throw him into their lineups. If something goes wrong, Nate Robinson would get more run.
Dec 22 - 5:39 PM

Kobe Bryant was held out of practice on Monday and coach Bryon Scott has not decided on his status for Tuesday.

Kobe has been complaining about his body not being right, so there's a good chance he sits on Tuesday or at least one game this week. The Lakers have four games this week, so it still makes sense to start Bryant in weekly formats. If he's out Nick Young, Wayne Ellington and Wes Johnson will benefit.
Dec 22 - 3:32 PM

The Houston Rockets have emerged as the frontrunner for Josh Smith, according to Yahoo! Sports.

From an offensive standpoint, this makes zero sense. Smith gave himself the nickname Mid Range Shawty a couple years ago and the Rockets take less mid-range shots than any team. He reportedly was "fixated" on joining the Rockets, who have two improving power forwards in Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones (leg). Owners in standard leagues might have an excuse to cut him now because he was just the No. 182nd player in those formats before today.
Dec 22 - 2:46 PM

David Lee (hamstring) will play against the Kings on Monday.

He went through both practices over the weekend and should be ready to go. One thing that will not be ready to go is his former role, which has been taken over by Draymond Green. Lee is not going to have the fantasy value he used to have and is unlikely to be a top-80 guy over the next month. Green owners shouldn't be too concerned.
