Frank Vogel reiterated that he "would like to get" Danny Granger to debut on Wednesday.

Granger reported no soreness or setbacks following Monday's practice, but Tuesday's go-around will be the real test for Granger. If he's not ready to play by Wednesday, the Pacers are expected to hold him out until February 20 against the Knicks. One way or another, Granger's season debut is very close and he should be owned in all leagues. Lance Stephenson will likely move to the bench once Granger is back in action.

Goran Dragic only needed nine shots from the field and less than 15 minutes to score 21 points against the Suns during a 115-98 win on Monday, adding four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Dragic said he would have sat out against any other team, so chalk this one up to the old revenge game narrative. He was fouled hard and needed to go to the locker room tonight, so he might not be healthy for Wednesday against the Lakers. As for his performance tonight, he became just the second player in the past decade to score 21 points in less than 15 minutes (Kyle Lowry). He should have plenty of big lines on the way.

Gary Neal started for Kevin Martin (illness) on Monday, scoring 19 points on 6-of-17 shooting (including two threes) with a career-high nine rebounds, four assists and one steal in 41 minutes.

If Martin misses another game it wouldn't be surprising to see Neal step right back into Martin's uber-productive role. He won't be this good every night, but he's worth watching closely given Martin's injury risk.
Mar 2 - 11:53 PM

Chris Paul scored 26 points on 12-of-20 shooting with four rebounds, 14 assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in Monday's win over the Wolves.

Paul has fallen into the category of used toy this season and is getting practically no MVP buzz despite another excellent season. In fantasy terms, he's still a top-half of the first round guy whenever he has stepped on the floor.
Mar 2 - 11:49 PM

Tyler Johnson scored a career-high 26 points against the Suns on Monday with one rebound, one assist, four steals and three 3-pointers on 10-of-13 from the field in 26 minutes.

It was also more points than he scored in any of his college games at Fresno State. Needless to say, nobody saw this coming with three consecutive DNP-CDs coming into this game. There were 102 players who logged minutes tonight and only one of them, DeMar DeRozan, had more points than Johnson tonight. Plus Johnson had a 90.8 true shooting percentage. Stats aside, Goran Dragic only played 15 minutes, which really helped Johnson. Unless you're in a really deep league, we're going to have to see Johnson score in double digits with Dragic out there for more than 30 minutes.
Mar 2 - 11:39 PM

Deron Williams scored 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in the Nets' 110-108 win over the Warriors on Monday.

The All Star break probably gave him a chance to rest his chronically injured ankles and owners just have to ride Williams until the wheels fall off. If your trade deadline hasn't passed, it's also a good time to sell-high.
Mar 2 - 11:29 PM

Brook Lopez scored 26 points off the bench in Monday's win over the Warriors, hitting 11-of-22 shots with six rebounds and one block in 26 minutes.

Lopez is a threat to do this on any given night but the problem is that he is also putting up way too many duds. The result is a top 85-95 value over the last month and the only good news is that he's staying on the floor. Jarrett Jack joined the party with a pretty jumper to win the game in the final moments.
Mar 2 - 11:20 PM

P.J. Tucker scored 20 points with 14 boards, three assists and one 3-pointer against the Heat on Monday.

He crashed the boards all night and played a team-high 41 minutes tonight. Following the game, coach Jeff Hornacek said after the game that his team is "soft" and the Suns "look like a high school team."Tucker is not soft at all and those quotes suggest he is a lock for minutes in the upper 30s. He should be owned in all leagues.
Mar 2 - 11:18 PM

DeMar DeRozan exploded for a season-high 35 points against the 76ers during a 114-103 win, adding nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

It was against the 76ers, but DeRozan needed this one in a big way. He is coming off a putrid February, averaging 16.7 points, 4.2 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.2 treys on 33.9 percent from the field. With Kyle Lowry (finger) likely out for a couple, DeMar can start to get it going.
Mar 2 - 10:54 PM

Sideline reporter Jennifer Hale reported that Anthony Davis (shoulder) is close to returning to game action.

We're not quite sure where that puts him, just like an earlier report stating the Pelicans weren't going to rush him back was similarly vague. We're in the second week of his 1-2 week timetable and as long as there isn't a setback his return is essentially imminent.
Mar 2 - 10:44 PM

Nerlens Noel made all seven shots from the field for 17 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block against the Raptors on Monday.

His offensive game has been the story lately. Perhaps the highlight is making 83.3 percent of his 6.0 free throw attempts per game over his last five, averaging 13.4 points, 9.4 boards, 2.0 assists, 2.4 blocks, 1.2 steals and 2.6 turnovers on 48.8 percent from the field. He's one of the hottest properties in fantasy hoops right now.
Mar 2 - 10:19 PM

Jamal Crawford (calf) will not return on Monday.

He has a calf contusion, which means it's not a muscle strain. That's important to note because Crawford has a history of calf injuries. With Crawford out, Austin Rivers is really going to have to step up. He's only worth a look in deep leagues. Crawford finished with nine points, two boards and one 3-pointer.
