Andrea Bargnani (flu) did not go through shootaround on Tuesday, and he remains a game-time decision.

Bargnani did not practice on Monday, and his sitting out shootaround on Tuesday could be an indication that he's not going to suit up. If he does wind up playing, we'd expect him to be very limited and possibly ineffective. Without Bargnani, Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas would each play extra minutes.

X-rays taken on Jimmy Butler's right knee came back negative.

He's not out of the woods yet and will have an MRI on Saturday morning. The Wolves are simply calling it a "right knee injury" for now, but Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports said there is "some hope around the severity." His fantasy owners should sit tight until Saturday's update, but if Butler misses time, expect several Wolves to step up including Nemanja Bjelica, Jamal Crawford and Andrew Wiggins.

DeMar DeRozan scored a game-high 33 points against the Bucks during a 122-119 overtime loss at home on Friday, adding eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

That'll snap their six-game winning streak and give them just a 1.0-game lead over the Celtics. DeRozan was in a mild slump before this game and only averaged 19.1 points per game in his previous February outings. He'll likely be scoring in the 23-26 point range in the second half, but the big difference from DeRozan this year is his well-rounded stat lines.

Tyreke Evans (right rib) will not return on Friday night.

He took some contact and he was grabbing his right side in pain as he went to the locker room. The team ruled him out about four minutes later in real time, but it is garbage time right now. Considering where the Grizzlies are in the standings, Evans could miss time, which would open up more run for Andrew Harrison. If you wanted to speculatively add Harrison, it's not a bad idea.
Feb 23 - 10:17 PM

Domantas Sabonis had one of his best games of the season in a win over the Hawks on Friday, scoring 21 points with 13 rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

Coach Nate McMillan isn't afraid to ride the hot hand and Sabonis had it tonight. As for Myles Turner, he was pretty quiet with seven points, eight rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes. Sabonis hit 9-of-13 shots and helped the Pacers out-rebound the Hawks 57-40. He's not the most reliable big, especially when Turner is healthy, but Sabonis is still doing enough to warrant ownership in standard leagues. We just wish he produced more defensive stats.
Feb 23 - 9:54 PM

Jimmy Butler (right knee) was helped to the locker room in the third quarter on Friday.

He was battling in the paint and Nene fell into his left knee, and then about a second later his right knee looked to give out on a shot attempt without taking any contact. He needed help off the floor and he didn't put weight on his right leg, so this does not look good at all. The Wolves may have to lean on Nemanja Bjelica, Jamal Crawford, Andrew Wiggins and maybe even Marcus Georges-Hunt to help out.
Feb 23 - 9:45 PM

Daniel Theis scored a career-high 19 points against the Pistons on Friday, adding seven rebounds, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

He was awesome the first half, so coach Brad Stevens rolled the Theis out there to start the third because Aron Baynes got hurt. It's unknown if Aron Baynes' elbow injury is bad, but the team did originally say he was available to return before later ruling him out. He's not really an add unless we get more news on Baynes, and for now it sounds like Baynes' injury is more of a day-to-day issue.
Feb 23 - 9:37 PM

Ricky Rubio (hip) will start on Friday night against the Blazers.

The Jazz didn't miss him too much while he was out and they continue to be the hottest team in the NBA. Rubio is going to have a minutes limit tonight, but he should be back in all fantasy lineups. We should see Royce O'Neale, Jae Crowder and some other bench guys take a hit here.
Feb 23 - 8:23 PM

Aron Baynes (left elbow) will not return against the Pistons on Friday.

The team originally called him available to return from his left elbow injury, but apparently the injury was worse than originally thought. Daniel Theis has been tearing it up in the first half, so coach Brad Stevens may just go with him even more after halftime. He's not really a strong pickup unless he was already on your radar before today.
Feb 23 - 8:11 PM

Danny Green (illness) will not play against the Nuggets on Friday.

He reportedly had bad spaghetti to cause food poisoning, so this makes it the second noteworthy food issue for the Spurs -- Kawhi Leonard was sick from a Philly cheesesteak years ago. With him out, it'll be a team effort from the guards with Bryn Forbes, Patty Mills, Derrick White and Manu Ginobili playing more.
Feb 23 - 8:07 PM

Eric Gordon (illness) will not play on Friday vs. the Wolves.

He had a knee contusion before the All-Star break and it's not clear if that is also bothering him. The Rockets are getting Trevor Ariza (hamstring) back tonight, but Gerald Green could keep some of his minutes with Gordon out.
Feb 23 - 7:49 PM

Pau Gasol is back in the starting lineup alongside LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) on Friday vs. the Nuggets.

This means Davis Bertans will head back to the bench. Gasol averages 25.2 minutes as a starter compared to 18.0 minutes as a reserve, so his fantasy owners will be hoping this move sticks.
