James Harden (ankle, knee) attended a team meeting Wednesday and is still hoping to play tonight against the Clippers.

Harden says he's a game-time decision despite being so banged up. Marc Spears of Yahoo! reported last night that Harden would not play Wednesday but Harden continues to say he hopes to play in the final game before the All-Star break. We'd still be pretty surprised if Harden does choose to play with the All-Star weekend (in Houston) only days away. Owners will want to check back before tip-off to see if he can convince the Rockets coaches to let him suit up. Carlos Delfino could get the start if Harden sits out.

Kyrie Irving was terrific during a 113-87 series-clinching win over the Raptors on Friday, scoring 30 points with four rebounds, nine assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Irving really buckled down on offense and put on a display of his full arsenal. On the downside, he has struggled on the defensive end, so that doesn't bode well against either Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook. Additionally, LeBron James said after the game that Kyrie was banged up for all four rounds of the playoffs last year and added Irving is healthier this time around. Last year, Irving went down after 44 minutes due to a fractured knee in Game 1 of The Finals, so things should be different. Expect him to play heavy minutes in an up-tempo style.

Kevin Love scored 20 points in a Game 6 win over the Raptors on Friday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

The Cavs big three of Love, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James all cleared the 20-point mark for the sixth time these playoffs after only doing so twice during the regular season. Love gets tons of open looks in this offense, so he has a lot of pressure on him to knock them down against a better team in The Finals. The good news is he looks healthy, but expect the Warriors or Thunder to target him in pick-and-roll plays.
May 27 - 11:36 PM

Kyle Lowry scored 35 points during a season-ending 113-87 loss to the Cavs on Friday, adding three rebounds, three assists, one block and six 3-pointers.

He's been terrible in almost all of the losses in this postseason, but not even this terrific game could help his team. Lowry was a late bloomer in his career, posting career highs in points, steals and tying his best total in rebounds during his All-Star campaign this season. Lowry turned 30 years old this past season and his fantasy owners saw him post first-round value. He has a very good chance to repeat next year.
May 27 - 11:33 PM

DeMar DeRozan scored 20 points with three rebounds, three assists and four turnovers in a season-ending loss to the Cavs on Friday.

The contested shots were the story all month for DeRozan. In the first five games of this series, DeRozan was only open on 36.5 percent of his shots beyond 10 feet. He still showed some flashes and didn't really lose any appeal as a high-end wing. DeRozan has a huge summer ahead of him as he looks for a max contract in free agency after he opts out of the last year of his deal. He's coming off career highs in points and efficiency and will turn 27 in August. The Raptors will likely be in the mix to bring him back next season, but watch out for the Lakers.
May 27 - 11:32 PM

LeBron James led his team to a series-clinching 113-87 win over the Raptors on Friday, scoring 33 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, three blocks and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

It's his sixth consecutive Finals appearance to validate his claim as one of the best players of all time. LeBron had some shooting issues in the playoffs last season at just 41.7 percent from the field, but his extra help has him at 54.6 percent from the field this year. James' field goal percentage has also gone up in every round, so he's playing his best ball right now. The Finals will start on June 2 as LeBron tries to earn a championship for Cleveland.
May 27 - 11:19 PM

Jonas Valanciunas is coming off the bench again on Friday for Game 6.

It's the same starting lineup of Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll, Luis Scola and Bismack Biyombo. With two more days off, we might see Valaciunas get to 20 minutes tonight. He is not expected to see time next to Biyombo.

According to sources of the Washington Post, the Wizards are expected to offer Bradley Beal a five-year max deal.

We already knew the Wizards wanted to re-sign Beal, but he's been adamant about receiving a max deal and it sounds like Washington will give it to him. His durability issues are a major red flag, but the Wizards don't really have any alternative options and the rising salary cap will allow them to take some risks. He's a restricted free agent, so the Wizards will still be able to match any opposing offers if they change their mind about giving him the max. Free agency begins on July 1st.

Stephen Curry looked healthy during a Game 5 120-11 victory over the Thunder on Thursday, making 9-of-20 from the field for 31 points with seven rebounds, six assists, five steals and three 3-pointers.

With all the rumors swirling around Curry saying he's only at 70 percent, he looked much better. After the game, coach Steve Kerr said Curry "looked like 91 percent" in what was his best scoring output in this series. A big difference for Curry was his on-ball plays as he was able to get to the rim more often with his eight shots within three feet. He'll have Friday off, so maybe he'll be at 95 percent for Game 6 in OKC as the Warriors look to tie the series at three.
May 27 - 12:30 AM

Andrew Bogut was a huge part of Thursday's Game 5 win over the Thunder, scoring a postseason career-high 15 points with 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two turnovers in 30 minutes.

His increased minutes tonight may have been the difference. Bogut played just 23 minutes combined in the last two games, but the Warriors went much bigger in this game. Bogut's presence around the rim on defense was a big part of limiting easy buckets for OKC while his passing and four offensive boards went a long way for the Dubs' offense. The Aussie is probably going to be a bit sore after this one, but expect him to get some extended run again on Saturday. Coach Steve Kerr gets a lot of credit for this rotation change.
May 26 - 11:55 PM

Kevin Durant's 40 points were not enough during a 120-111 Game 5 loss to the Warriors on Thursday, adding seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

It's the most points he's scored in this series and his second most of this postseason (41 vs. Spurs). While Durant was 12-of-31 from the field, he went 13-of-13 from the line gave him a respectable 54.4 true shooting percentage. The Thunder didn't go small nearly as much, so not exerting more energy on the defensive low block may have helped Durant's offensive usage. Based on the adjustment from the Warriors, we should be looking at a lot of scoring chances from Durant in Game 6.
May 26 - 11:54 PM

Russell Westbrook scored 31 points during a loss to the Warriors on Thursday, adding seven rebounds, eight assists, five steals, seven turnovers and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

It was a very Westbrook game with lots of highs and lows. He had a couple bad stretches with careless turnovers while he hit a number of impressive off-the-dribble jumpers. The Thunder will live and die by Westbrook with the All-NBA First Team guard playing some of his best ball of his career. In this series, he's averaging 28.0 points, 6.6 boards, 11.0 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.2 treys. His numbers are better at home, so we have high expectations for his stat output in Game 6.
