Kenneth Faried hit a game-winning shot in the paint against the Warriors on Thursday, finishing with 18 points, 17 boards, one assist, one steal and six turnovers.

Draymond Green played great defense on the Manimal and the degree of difficulty was pretty high, so it was tough luck for the Warriors. Faried's shot totals have jumped up to 13.2 per game since the break compared to just 8.1 from before that point, which has led to some big-time numbers. Plus, he's been much better at the line and has shockingly put up second-round value since the break in standard leagues.

Timofey Mozgov set an NBA season-high 29 boards against the Warriors on Thursday to go with 23 points, three assists, one steal and three blocks.

The Nuggets owned the glass and won the battle of the boards 63-38, including 25-6 on the offensive ends. Mozgov played a season-high 43 minutes tonight, which was a bit of a surprise since a lot of teams have gone small against the Warriors. Tonight's game might change that strategy, but the Nuggets are actually playing well with big wins over the Warriors and Rockets in a road back-to-back set. As for Mozgov, he's a must-own player the rest of the way with six nice games in a row.
Apr 11 - 1:21 AM

Kawhi Leonard looked like a superstar against the Mavericks during Thursday's 109-100 win with 16 points, 16 boards, five assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

He broke out in the playoffs last season and carried that momentum into a spectacular season. Leonard put up a career-high 15 boards tonight and he hit a huge shot to bury the Mavericks. Since his return from injury back on Feb. 26, only Kevin Durant and LeBron James have put up more fantasy value in standard leagues. He's an absolute fantasy monster.
Apr 11 - 1:08 AM

Goran Dragic is questionable to play on Friday due to a sprained left ankle.

"I think [Dragic] will want to play," said coach Jeff Hornacek. "It'll be a question with him, 'Do you think you can go and go hard or is it going to aggravate it more?'" The Suns play the Spurs on Friday before a crucial matchup with the Mavericks on Saturday, a back-to-back set which may determine the Suns' playoff fate, and Dragic's injury comes at a very inopportune time. He will not participate in Friday's shootaround and if he can't start Gerald Green will take over at SG with Eric Bledsoe at PG.
Apr 11 - 12:20 AM

David Lee (hamstring) will not play on Thursday.

He was highly unlikely to play and has been dealing with leg and back issues. Lee is back at practice and could probably go had this been a playoff game, but he may not be ready for the weekend either. Draymond Green makes for a solid spot start.
Apr 10 - 9:12 PM

Tim Duncan hyper-extended his right knee during Thursday's game, but he's fine and is expected to return.

The Spurs wouldn't let Duncan anywhere near the court if he were in any danger of aggravating the injury, so owners shouldn't fret unless a pessimistic update arrives after the game.
Apr 10 - 8:34 PM

Manu Ginobili (bruised calf) will play vs. the Mavericks on Thursday.

It wouldn't be a surprise if the Spurs hold him out of Friday's game as a precaution, but his availability vs. Dallas confirms that the injury was never serious. Tony Parker (back) is out and Aron Baynes (ribs) is questionable, but it appears the Spurs will have all of their healthy players available.
Apr 10 - 5:58 PM

David Lee (hamstring) went through Thursday's shootaround and he's questionable to play vs. the Nuggets.

Lee has nerve irritation stemming from his back, which has led to pain in his hamstring, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Warriors played it safe and rested him again. The fact that he's even questionable to play is encouraging but we won't learn his availability until closer to tip-off.
Apr 10 - 3:50 PM

Anthony Davis (back) and Eric Gordon (knee) will miss the rest of the season.

Davis was examined by the team doctors and it was determined his back injury would require 1-2 weeks of rest and rehab. Davis hasn't really fought back spasms up until last week, but he's had at least three separate instances in the past week. His breakout season will end with averages of 20.8 points, 10.0 boards and a league-leading 2.8 blocks. He'll be in the mix to go in the top three in fantasy drafts next year. Jeff Withey is the hot hand to add, but the Pelican frontcourt is a mess.

Amir Johnson has missed two straight games with an ankle injury but it sounds like he's nearing a return.

"He’s pretty close. He’s still not 100%. But he’s pretty close," coach Dwane Casey said of Johnson. "If he had to go tonight, he probably could go. We’re trying to make sure … he’s ready for the next couple of weeks." If Johnson suits up on Friday, Patrick Patterson, who had a great line on Wednesday, would take a hit in playing time.

Shawn Marion (foot) received treatment on his injured foot on Thursday and is expected to play against the Spurs on Thursday.

Marion's been a bit hit-or-miss over the second half of the season but will be a key piece if the Mavericks are going to win their fifth straight game by beating the Spurs tonight.
