James Harden (ankle) will start against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He's certainly earning his max deal. Harden went through normal warmups and he's simply too good to even think about benching with this news. There were reports of Harden missing the game immediately following Tuesday's game and we'll be watching to see how he battles through the injury.

The Knicks have been informed that Oklahoma City is one of the other teams Carmelo Anthony has included on his list for a possible trade, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.com.

For now, it sounds like we have OKC, the Cavs and the Rockets as possible trade partners. The Blazers are reportedly not on the list, but those two teams make a lot of sense as trade partners -- it's up to Melo, of course. With media day coming up on Monday, we could see an Anthony trade this weekend. Of course, we've been expecting a Melo deal since July, so it could still be a while.

The Suns acquired Troy Daniels and a 2018 second-round pick from Memphis for a top-55 protected in pick 2018.

The Grizzlies have some decent depth at guard with Wayne Selden playing well and Tyreke Evans in the mix. Daniels was one of coach David Fizdale's guys and his quote saying he had a "money green" light to shoot was a cool story last year. Daniels likely won't be in the rotation to start the season.

Gerald Green has agreed on a deal to sign with the Bucks.

It's a non-guaranteed deal for camp, but Green could compete for a roster spot. It's possible Green or Brandon Rush will be the choice as the last veteran wing on the 15-man roster. Green made a noteworthy impact in the postseason with coach Brad Stevens mixing it up, but he likely wouldn't be in the rotation to start the season.

Markieff Morris had sports hernia surgery on Friday and is expected to be out 6-8 weeks.

That means he will miss the start of the season and he could miss up to 15 games. Morris had himself a strong 2016-17 season and logged more minutes at center than he had in his previous time with the Wizards. With him out, Jason Smith, Kelly Oubre and Marcin Gortat should pick up some extra minutes. Fantasy owners may not want to draft Morris unless stashing won't hurt.

Kris Humphries plans to sign a non-guaranteed deal with the 76ers, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

He worked out with the 76ers on Monday and Tuesday, so he is fully expected to be with the team for the start of camp. Humphries is going to be buried on the depth chart, but he could make the roster as emergency depth. The 32-year-old played 56 games with the Hawks last season and doesn't have fantasy value.

Damian Lillard said he would like to see Caleb Swanigan win Rookie of the Year.

We're reading between the lines on this tweet, but the timing is interesting. Dame saying Swanigan over lottery pick Zach Collins could suggest that Swanigan may be the man to help fill the void left by Noah Vonleh (shoulder). Swanigan is one of the best rebounding prospects to come out this year, which could help after Portland's subpar rebounding recently. The Purdue product lit it up in Las Vegas and he's now on the radar in deep leagues.

Noah Vonleh suffered a right shoulder strain that will keep him out of training camp and likely the first two weeks of the regular season.

He suffered the injury this week during pickup games at the Blazers' practice facility, but the injury will not require surgery. Vonleh may have been looking at more minutes with Allen Crabbe out of the lineup and the Blazers having to go bigger at the three to open up minutes at the four, but now coach Terry Stotts will have to come up with some other ideas. Al-Farouq Aminu figures to benefit most while Caleb Swanigan could have a chance to build off his monster summer league. Keep an eye on Jake Layman, Moe Harkless and Evan Turner to possibly get a boost, as well.

Thunder GM Sam Presti said that Russell Westbrook had a PRP injection in his right knee and will miss the first few days of training camp but that it's "nothing serious."

Obviously not the news you want to hear regarding the league's reigning MVP, but Presti and company clearly don't seem concerned with what they deem a minor procedure. Westbrook tore the meniscus in his right knee back in 2013, but Presti stated that the PRP injection has nothing to do with any past injuries. This is something we'll keep a close eye on over the next couple of weeks, but hopefully, Westrbook can show in the preseason that he isn't limited and will be ready to roll once the regular season tips off.

Andrew Wiggins is progressing toward a five-year, $148 million maximum extension according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The Wolves have been saying since July that they will give Wiggins his max deal and Shams Charania adds that he's expected to sign soon. The deal wouldn't kick in until 2018-19 and will keep him under contract through the 2022-23 season. Wiggins is more of a one-trick pony in fantasy for his scoring ability, but he should only improve his all-around game in his age-23 season. Being able to learn from Jimmy Butler could be huge as well.

Barring a surprise, Alex Len is planning to sign his $4.2 million qualifying offer to stay with the Suns.

The Suns open training camp on Sept. 26, but Len is expected to sign the deal prior to that. Len and the Suns weren't able to agree on a long-term deal and he will hit unrestricted free agency in 2018 -- Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN said they want to see how much he develops in 2017-18 before committing to him. The Suns are shopping Tyson Chandler, but Len will compete with Alan Williams for the backup center role until they find Chandler a new home.

Markieff Morris (sports hernia) will undergo surgery this Friday and is expected to miss the start of training camp.

There is no timetable for his return and he will have the procedure in St. Louis. He was extremely durable to start his career, but the 28-year-old missed 18 games in 2015-16 and six games in 2016-17. If Morris does need to miss game action, Kelly Oubre, Mike Scott and Jason Smith would likely pick up some extra minutes. Morris is now only a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
