Mike Woodson is uncertain when Marcus Camby (foot) will be able to return.

Camby was given a 2-4 week timetable on January 11, so he's already been out longer than that despite Woodson previously saying that he anticipated Camby back during the timetable. The veteran remains out indefinitely and has been invisible for most of the season.

LeBron James (wrist) is considered doubtful to play against the Kings on Friday.

It's weird day to see LeBron James and Kevin Durant out on he same night. James has been extremely durable before this season, but he's had knee and back issues before this injury. The Cavs are on a back-to-back this weekend, so James should be considered questionable for Saturday in Minnesota. Expect to see more of J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Mike Miller and Shawn Marion with Smith as the only reliable option.

Kevin Martin (wrist) will come off the bench on Wednesday against the Celtics.

Jan 28 - 6:45 PM

Tyreke Evans (illness) is a game-time decision to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Coach Monty Williams said he does expect Evans to play. If he doesn't for some reason, the Pelicans are going to have to unleash Jimmer Fredette while Eric Gordon will have to run the offense for. For now, fantasy owners can play on 'Reke playing.
Jan 28 - 6:37 PM

LeBron James (wrist) will not play vs. the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

He took a hard fall during Tuesday's game and was a game-time decision vs. Portland, but ultimately wasn't able to suit up. His absence means more shots for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, and more playing time for J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Mike Miller and Shawn Marion. Consider LeBron questionable to return Friday vs. the Kings.
Jan 28 - 6:35 PM

Amare Stoudemire (wrist, ankle) is not expected to play until next week.

That means he won't play on Thursday against the Pacers as well as tonight. Stoudemire misses game as much as any player, so his fantasy owners are probably not going to want to bother. Expect to see more of Lance Thomas, Jason Smith and Cole Aldrich.
Jan 28 - 6:28 PM

Carmelo Anthony will start vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.

He missed Saturday's game to get some rest, which may be a theme during busy stretches of the schedule. The good news is that his knee is still holding up, but owners will have to monitor his status on a daily basis -- New York plays a back-to-back vs. the Pacers on Thursday, and there are no guarantees that Melo will be available. Stay tuned.
Jan 28 - 6:27 PM

Kobe Bryant had surgery to repair his right rotator cuff on Wednesday, and he's expected to miss nine months.

This is a longer-than-expected timetable which would keep him out until roughly next November, so it's very unlikely he'll be in uniform for the start of the 2015-16 season. The Black Mamba's unfortunate injury will open up more playing time for Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, Nick Young and especially Wayne Ellington, the last of whom is a very nice pickup as the Lakers' starting SG.
Jan 28 - 6:26 PM

Jose Calderon (knee) will start against the Thunder on Wednesday night.

Langston Galloway will start at shooting guard. Calderon appears to be close to 100 percent after receiving so much time off from a bruised knee. He's still going to be a risky play because Russell Westbrook figures to carve him up throughout the game. Galloway is still a fantasy option tonight and plays well next to Calderon.
Jan 28 - 6:22 PM

Coach Kevin McHale said he'd be "shocked" if Dwight Howard (ankle) played against the Mavericks.

This will be his second consecutive game in street clothes, assuming something wild does not happen. For what it's worth, McHale has used this "shocked" statement before and it's held up every time. With Howard out, Terrence Jones might have to step up in his first game back. Donatas Motiejunas, Josh Smith and Joey Dorsey are also expected to help more.
Jan 28 - 6:18 PM

Terrence Jones (leg) will be active and available for the Rockets on Wednesday, though he'll be limited to 15-20 minutes.

Houston will ease Jones into the mix after his lengthy rehab from a nerve issue which has kept him on the sidelines since Nov. 3. He may even start on Wednesday with Dwight Howard (ankle, knee) very unlikely to play. Josh Smith and Donatas Motiejunas complicate Jones' role when Houston is at full strength, but he has enough upside to be worth a stash if he's still floating on the waiver wire.
Jan 28 - 6:18 PM

Nicolas Batum (wrist) will play vs. the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Batum has a torn ligament on the outside of his wrist but he said recently that he's nearly pain-free, and it sounds like he'll join LaMarcus Aldridge in the play-through-it camp. Batum's scoring has vanished in recent weeks, due in large part to the injury, but he's still returning steady value thanks to across-the-board contributions.
