A source told the Boston Globe that Terrence Williams' 10-day contract with the Celtics is a "done deal."

Interesting. Williams is reportedly just waiting for clearance and is already en route to join the Celtics. Talent has never been the issue for Williams, but before being cut in training camp by the Pistons, he had to accept a non-guaranteed contract and had played for three teams in just three years. The 2009 No. 11 overall pick will be an intriguing addition because he can play multiple positions for a banged-up Boston team.

Jordan Bell (left ankle) will not return on Wednesday against the Bulls.

The good news is X-rays were negative, but he will have an MRI on Thursday. It's also good news that it's not knee related, but there's a good chance Bell won't be ready to go this weekend. If he is out, Kevon Looney should fill some extra minutes until Draymond Green (shoulder) can return.
Jan 17 - 8:40 PM

Deyonta Davis will start on Wednesday against the Knicks.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff really talked up Davis before the game, saying he "has been groomed for these moments" with Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright out. If he can avoid foul trouble, he could be in for a big night as a very strong DFS play.
Jan 17 - 7:42 PM

Derrick Jones Jr. will start against the Bucks on Wednesday.

The Heat will turn on Airplane Mode for this one with Tyler Johnson (ankle) out. Jones Jr. was a DNP-CD on Monday, so it's still tough to count on him for more than 20 minutes. Wayne Ellington should benefit most while we should see some Justise Winslow in the mix.
Jan 17 - 7:20 PM

Pau Gasol (right wrist sprain) will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

The 37-year-old will again be fighting through the pain tonight, and at this point, it doesn't seem like the wrist issue will require him to spend any time on the sidelines. Tony Parker, Danny Green, Kyle Anderson and LaMarcus Aldridge will join him in the starting unit.
Jan 17 - 7:17 PM

The league will not be suspending James Harden or Chris Paul for their participation in Monday's locker room incident with the Clippers.

Harden and Paul have been described as trying to calm the situation down, so they won't be catching any heat in this ordeal, while both Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green will be serving a two-game suspension. Harden is expected to make it back to the court on Thursday, and he'll be dealing with a 24-25 minute limit.
Jan 17 - 6:41 PM

The NBA is suspending Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green two games for aggressively entering Clippers locker room.

He was reportedly the "most aggressive" of the team, so a suspension was likely to happen here. These two won't be playing on Thursday against the Wolves or Saturday against the Warriors in a primetime matchup. The Rockets did get Luc Mbah a Moute back, so he'll be an important piece in the rotation. Expect for P.J. Tucker to also see a slight bump in playing time, as well.
Jan 17 - 6:40 PM

Andre Roberson (knee) will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers, sending Terrance Ferguson back to the bench.

Roberson has missed the past eight games, so he could have his minutes monitored tonight. Neither Roberson nor Ferguson can be considered viable targets in most leagues.
Jan 17 - 6:28 PM

Marc Gasol (illness) and Brandan Wright will not play against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Well, the Grizzlies are going to be short up front today, and chances are it'll be Deyonta Davis getting the start. Gasol was very sick this morning, so it's possible he won't be ready for Friday. For tonight, Davis makes some sense as a DFS punt play or as a stream in 14-team leagues. Expect to see more Jarell Martin, as well.
Jan 17 - 6:22 PM

Stan Van Gundy said he thinks Avery Bradley (groin) and Luke Kennard (thumb) will be able to play Wednesday vs. the Raptors.

Both players participated at shootaround, and it sounds like they'll be fighting through the pain tonight. We should get a firm update just prior to tip-off, but season-long owners can plan on having these guys active. Anthony Tolliver is no longer a very attractive streamer in most leagues.
Jan 17 - 6:21 PM

Fred VanVleet (knee) will not play against the Pistons on Wednesday.

The Raptors will play it safe in the middle of January here. With VanVleet out, the Raptors will likely ask Delon Wright to handle the ball more in the second unit while Norman Powell figures to get in the rotation again. Wright should be owned in standard leagues and is one of the hottest waiver-wire adds over the past few weeks.
Jan 17 - 6:17 PM

Markieff Morris (ankle) will start Wednesday vs. Charlotte.

Morris did not practice on Tuesday after rolling his ankle in Monday's loss to Milwaukee, but the ankle issue won't be anything that forces him to miss any game-time action. Joining Morris in the starting five will be John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat.
