Larry Sanders (back) will be a game-time decision vs. the Nets on Tuesday, but he said he has "70-30" odds to play.

Sanders practiced fully on Monday and the severe bruise he suffered nearly two weeks ago seems to have finally healed. The Bucks play three times this week, beginning with back-to-back games vs. the Nets, and owners should check for an update on Tuesday afternoon before locking in weekly lineups.

Mike Dunleavy (back) will make his season debut against the Wolves on Saturday.

He said "I'm back" at his locker, so Mike apparently wants to be like Mike. His minutes should be limited with so much time away from NBA game action, so he's not someone worth owning in most leagues just yet. His return takes away from E'Twaun Moore and Tony Snell.
Feb 6 - 7:06 PM

Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (foot, ankle) will not play on Saturday against the Bulls.

These guys are not close to a return. Martin may have played his last minutes with the Wolves as the trade deadline approaches. Zach LaVine will get close to 30 minutes tonight and is worth owning in standard leagues.
Feb 6 - 6:36 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) and Mike Dunleavy (back) are game-time calls vs. the Wolves on Saturday.

They will both warm up before a final decision will be made on their status. If Gasol is held out for the second straight game, Bobby Portis will be the primary beneficiary even though Cameron Bairstow will likely start.
Feb 6 - 6:35 PM

Bradley Beal is coming off bench on Saturday against the Hornets.

That will put Garrett Temple in the starting lineup. It's also a decent indication that Beal might not be over 30 minutes like he was on Friday. Beal is still a guy to use in season-long leagues, but he lost a lot of DFS appeal with this news.
Feb 6 - 6:27 PM

Tyreke Evans (knee) has been shut down until the All-Star break.

"Hopefully he’ll be ready to go right after the All-Star break and we’ll be able to play him for the rest of the stretch [of the schedule]," coach Alvin Gentry said. His owners should stash him in an IR spot, but it's still possible that he could be shut down during the final weeks of the season if the Pelicans are not in the playoff hunt. In the meantime, Bryce Dejean-Jones will continue to start and is worth a look in deeper leagues. Jrue Holiday will benefit as well.

Feb 6 - 6:15 PM

Dante Cunningham will start on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers, sending Alonzo Gee to the bench.

The Pelicans have lost three straight games, so coach Alvin Gentry is looking to shake things up. Cunningham isn't very involved in the offense and has very little upside, so he's safe to ignore in most leagues. Gee can be dropped almost everywhere.
Feb 6 - 6:13 PM

Jimmy Butler (left knee) was diagnosed with a knee strain and did not suffer damage to his ligaments.

This is great news, but he is out Friday and Saturday. The diagnosis of a strain means it's something muscle related or it could be something with a tendon near his joint. Butler doesn't have a timetable to return, but it looks like he at least has a chance to be back this month. This may hurt his chance to play in the All-Star Game. Mike Dunleavy (back) should benefit while E'Twaun Moore and Tony Snell could help out. Derrick Rose will be very busy, too.
Feb 6 - 6:10 PM

Nene (calf) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday night.

He tried warming up but calf was still too painful. The Wizards are probably going to want to shut him down if he can't make it through a warmup. Drew Gooden and Dejuan Blair figure to get a handful of minutes.
Feb 6 - 6:06 PM

Timofey Mozgov will start for Kevin Love (quad) on Saturday against the Pelicans.

That will bump Tristan Thompson over to power forward. Thompson has a tiny 6.1 usage rate when Love is off the court while LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are on, but it shouldn't matter for his output tonight thanks to a lot of boards and minutes. Mozgov isn't a great DFS play with the Cavs likely set to go small more often than usual.
Feb 6 - 6:02 PM

Ish Smith (ankle) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.

Smith tweaked his ankle in the last 90 seconds of a blowout on Friday, so the 76ers will keep him out in a very important game to lose for tanking purposes. Expect Smith to be ready to go next week. Besides McConnell, there could be some Kendall Marshall at the point tonight.
Feb 6 - 5:56 PM

Matt Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.

His hamstring issue has been a problem for two weeks and the Cavs may rest him until the break. Mo Williams will be in the rotation again while this news also helps Iman Shumpert because of no Kevin Love.
