Sacramento Kings acquired forward Patrick Patterson, center Cole Aldrich, guard Toney Douglas and cash considerations from Houston Rockets in exchange for forwards Francisco Garcia, Thomas Robinson and Tyler Honeycutt.

We already broke down the trade repercussions under each involved player, but Robinson appears to be the biggest winner here, although he's not guaranteed to start at PF just yet. Donatas Motiejunas, Greg Smith and Carlos Delfino should all get a boost in playing time, but T-Rob still looks like a decent add based on his potential. Just keep in mind the Rockets play just three games per week for the next five in a row, and six of the next seven, which is bad news if games played matter in your league.

The Clippers and Mavs are "truly 50-50" to sign DeAndre Jordan, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

He's not going to make a decision tonight and it could come during the weekend. Jordan is going to get a max deal after leading the NBA in rebounds and field goal percentage. Whoever misses out here is really going to have a tough time finding a capable center.

The Lakers called Rajon Rondo on Thursday to "touch base," according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com.

Up until this point, the Kings were the only team expressing interest in Rondo. While calling a player is hardly enough to classify as serious interest, the Kings now have another team to worry about. Rondo can probably expect the Kings to make a bigger offer now.

DeAndre Jordan's decision is not going to be made in the next 24 hours, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

There are multiple reports saying something similar. Robin Lopez is waiting for DeAndre and DeAndre is waiting for LaMarcus Aldridge, so this could take a long time. Jordan met with the Clippers for about three hours, the Knicks for two hours and the Mavs for over four hours. We might have to wait until the holiday for some D.J. news.
Jul 2 - 11:40 PM

Robin Lopez has committed to the Knicks and will sign with them unless DeAndre Jordan chooses the Knicks.

In other words, Lopez is on the Knicks. While Lopez won't come cheap, he is actually a very good fit with them. He ranked third in the NBA for offensive rebounds in the 2013-14 season, he doesn't have many fouling issues, he's been very healthy in his career and he'll have a low usage rate on offense, which Carmelo Anthony will like. Lopez did have a down year in 2014-15, but he could wind up being a mid-round guy in standard leagues next season.

Updating a previous item, the Kings are offering Wesley Matthews a four-year, $64 million deal.

That buys a lot of bow and arrows. The Kings are as all in as they could possibly be and there's no way a team is going to outbid them. They made their bed last night by giving up a ton of assets to Sam Hinkie, so Matthews and his agent have all the leverage. They're using it and could make Matthews the highest paid player on the Kings.

The Spurs and Wizards are the favorites to sign unrestricted free agent David West.

This confirms a similar report from USA Today, so it would appear we're down to a two-horse race. West is expected to take a serious pay cut because he wants to win a title. He would be a backup on the Spurs -- assuming they land LaMarcus Aldridge -- and would have more fantasy value on the Wizards.
Jul 2 - 10:26 PM

Unrestricted free agent Robin Lopez is discussing a deal with the Knicks in the range of $12-13 million per season.

The Knicks were always going to overpay for Ro-Lo, so this is not a surprise. As one of the best offensive rebounders in the NBA, he should have success next to Carmelo Anthony. Plus, if Kristaps Porzingis can develop quickly to stretch the floor, it would almost be an ideal situation for him from a schematic standpoint.
Jul 2 - 8:59 PM

Damian Lillard is planning an impromptu visit to Los Angeles to try and convince LaMarcus Aldridge to re-sign with the Blazers.

He is returning from Paris and is wasting no time on being the franchise player. Aldridge wants to play power forward more often, which might not happen quite as much with the Blazers now that Robin Lopez is likely to be overpaid by another team. Lillard will need another very clutch performance here.

The Lakers have reportedly expressed interest in Amare Stoudemire.

Stoudemire is well past his days of being a relevant name in standard fantasy leagues. His body simply can't handle major minutes, so wherever he signs, he won't be worth drafting in standard leagues.
Jul 2 - 7:04 PM

The Wizards are reportedly nearing in on a deal that will net them Jared Dudley.

Dudley would likely serve in a mentorship role for guys like Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre, but he won't have any fantasy value with the Wizards.
Jul 2 - 6:50 PM

Timofey Mozgov underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Wednesday, and he's expected to make a full recovery in 6-weeks.

Arthroscopic surgery really isn't that big of a deal, and he has plenty of time to recover to be 100 percent for training camp. Mozgov averaged 10.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game with the Cavs during the 2014-15 season, and he'll make for a quality late-round target in next year's drafts.
