In his first game wearing a Magic uniform, Tobias Harris came off the bench to score 14 points with six rebounds and three blocks in 25 minutes.

Harris has some quiet upside -- in 23 career starts, he's averaged 6.8 points, 0.3 threes, 3.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 0.3 blocks in under 19 minutes per game. He primarily played PF with the second unit, which included fellow ex-Bucks Beno Udrih and Doron Lamb, as well as Kyle O'Quinn and DeQuan Jones. Those aren't exactly household names, but deep-league owners should be keeping a very close eye on the lot of them.

LeBron James (back) will not play against the Pacers on Friday night.

"Just forward thinking on my part," coach David Blatt said. In other words, it sounds like a maintenance day. LeBron did have some back problems against the Warriors on Thursday and he was also on the injury report back in January because of it. He has been absolutely magnificent since the break, posting a 38.3 usage rate with a 59.6 true shooting percentage. With LeBron and Kyrie Irving out, Kevin Love should have a lot on his plate.
Feb 27 - 5:40 PM

Paul Pierce (knee) will not play against the 76ers on Friday.

He suffered some sort of injury in pre-game on Wednesday, but it's not considered serious. The Wizards were a disaster on Wednesday, but coach Randy Wittman will likely start Otto Porter and Garrett Temple on the wings. Pierce is a tough own when he's not healthy.
Feb 27 - 5:35 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) will not play against the Spurs on Friday.

That's a lot of offense to replace with Boogie posting a ridiculous 37.3 usage rate since George Karl took over. Plus, he's on pace to have the highest usage rate for a center in a season ever (among qualifiers for minutes per game). With Boogie out, the Kings are likely going to give his minutes to a combination of Carl Landry, Reggie Evans and Jason Thompson. However, Rudy Gay will likely be very busy tonight and Ben McLemore will also try to build off his 16-point game from Wednesday. Gay will also play a lot of PF, so there are more minutes for Omri Casspi.
Feb 27 - 4:15 PM

Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will not play on Friday against the Pacers.

He suffered the left shoulder strain on Friday, but he was back on the bench following the injury. Irving had an MRI and it would appear he's day-to-day because the team did not rule him out for Sunday against the Rockets. Matthew Dellavedova logged all of the backup point guard minutes on Thursday night and is likely going to start.

O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.

The Bucks called Mayo sitting on Wednesday as "rest" but it certainly raised a red flag because they weren't on the front or back end of a back-to-back set. Mayo tweaked his hamstring on Feb. 20, but he did play 31.0 minutes per game in his two following outings. With Mayo out, Jerryd Bayless will log more minutes at shooting guard which may allow Tyler Ennis to get minutes close to 20. Khris Middleton should also have a higher usage rate, which helped him get to 19 points on Wednesday. Mayo is a tough player to own now that he's not healthy.
Feb 27 - 3:04 PM

Tyson Chandler (hip contusion) was a full participant during Friday's practice, Rick Carlisle said he'll be "a probable/questionable" for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

Chandler said that he is hopeful to play on Saturday, and his return to practice is a step in the right direction. If Chandler is able to go, Bernard James will return to a bench role devoid of any fantasy value in standard leagues. Stay tuned.
Feb 27 - 1:40 PM

Chandler Parsons (ankle) did not practice on Friday, and he has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

Parsons has shed his walking boot, but he remains without an official timetable to return. We'll be considering him questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans, and with him sidelined, Richard Jefferson and Al-Farouq Aminu will continue to split his minutes.
Feb 27 - 1:35 PM

Luol Deng (sore neck) was not required to go through the leagues concussion protocol after taking a blow to the head on Wednesday, and he's expected to play Friday vs. New Orleans.

With Chris Bosh done for the season, Luol Deng is going to be tasked with some more responsibilities on offense. He's been playing well through the month of February with averages of 15.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 three-pointers on 48.0 percent shooting from the field, so make sure he's in your lineups for Friday's favorable matchup with the Pelicans.
Feb 27 - 1:25 PM

Kevin Garnett is uncertain whether he will be able to give it a go for Friday's matchup with the Bulls.

The Timberwolves play at Chicago on Friday, and then return to Minnesota for a home game vs. Memphis on Saturday. When Garnett was asked directly about his status for tonight's game he responded: "We'll see, we'll see. If not tonight, definitely tomorrow." We'll consider him on the doubtful side of questionable for tonight's game. If he does sit, Gorgui Dieng will have an opportunity to start. Stay tuned.
Feb 27 - 1:09 PM

Updating a previous report, Pau Gasol (illness) has officially been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves.

We've seen this movie before, and it will Taj Gibson at the starting power forward spot with Nikola Mirotic seeing extended minutes off the bench, and both guys figure to be quality plug-and-play options in daily leagues. The Bulls face the Clippers on Sunday, and we'll be considering Gasol questionable for that one. Stay tuned.
Feb 27 - 12:17 PM

Bradley Beal (leg) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the 76ers.

Beal still needs to go through a full practice before he can return to the court, so until that happens, he's not going to play. Garrett Temple, Otto Porter, and Rasual Butler will continue to split minutes at the two-spot with Beal sidelined, but the timeshare makes all of those guys too risky for use in most leagues.
