Kyrie Irving was bothered by a sore right knee during Sunday's game, but beat writer Jason Lloyd doesn't think that the Cavaliers "are at the point of sitting him down."

Irving is averaging 14.5 points in the past two games. The Cavs were already worried about his wear-and-tear prior to the All-Star break, and they are likely to handle their franchise PG with kid gloves. We're listing him as 'sidelined' as a precaution, but owners should keep him active while checking for confirmation that he'll play in back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

DeMar DeRozan scored 32 points on 11-of-29 shooting (3-of-6 3PTs, 7-of-7 FTs) with six rebounds, six assists and one steal in Friday's Game 3 loss to the Wizards.

DeRozan and Kyle Lowry were both guilty of bad shot selection and going down 3-0 the backcourt play has been a big storyline in this series. Of course, both engaged in trash talk with Paul Pierce and it's fair to wonder if they lost focus as things started to spin out of control. Game 4 is on Sunday in Washington.
Apr 24 - 11:02 PM

Amir Johnson moved into the starting lineup and double-doubled in Friday's Game 3 loss to the Wizards, scoring 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting with 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 33 minutes.

Johnson is a gamer and he'll bring his gimpy ankles into Sunday's Game 4 with reckless abandon, and as long as we don't get any bad news he could be a sneaky low-end play in DFS leagues.
Apr 24 - 10:57 PM

Kyle Lowry hit just 5-of-22 shots in Friday's Game 3 loss to the Wizards, finishing with 15 points, four rebounds, seven assists, four steals and three treys in 38 minutes.

Lowry came into the game with an illness, a shin contusion and a bad back. He hasn't been himself all series long and it's a big reason the Raptors have yet to win a game in the series. It's hard to see him getting back to 100 percent before Game 4 on Sunday.
Apr 24 - 10:55 PM

James Harden scored 42 points on 15-of-24 shooting (5-of-7 3PTs, 7-of-7 FTs) with five rebounds, nine assists and one steal in the Rockets' 130-128 win over the Mavs in Game 3 on Friday.

The Mavs fielded one of the worst defensive squads we've seen in the playoffs in a very long time, if not the worst of all time. The Rockets take a 3-0 lead into Sunday's Game 4 matchup and with a win they'll be able to rest up for the winner of the Spurs-Clippers series.
Apr 24 - 10:01 PM

Dwight Howard grabbed a career-high 26 rebounds in Friday's Game 3 win over the Mavs, and also chipped in with 13 points, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

Howard has looked great so far in the playoffs and owners can deal with his long-term knee issues over the summer at this rate. Terrence Jones went for 12 and six, Corey Brewer scored 15 points, and Josh Smith added 18 points, three rebounds, four assists and two triples in the win.
Apr 24 - 9:58 PM

Coach Gregg Popovich said Aron Baynes (ankle) will not play on Friday against the Clippers.

Not even a mask can get Baynes to play, apparently. It's a little interesting and unusual for Pop to reveal Baynes' status for this game. As we all know, theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated. It sounds like Baynes will be out for a couple games. Tiago Splitter and Boris Diaw will play more.
Apr 24 - 7:54 PM

Chris Kaman (ankle) and Arron Afflalo (shoulder) are planning to play on Saturday in Game 3.

Kaman is listed as questionable and he said he didn't do anything in practice on Friday. "I know once I tape it and get the right drugs in me, everything will be good," Kaman said. "I’m ready to play tomorrow." He's likely looking at minutes in the teens and will bump Joel Freeland out of the rotation while taking away some time from Meyers Leonard.
Apr 24 - 7:44 PM

Ami Johnson will start at power forward in place of Tyler Hansbrough in Game 3 on Friday.

Hansbrough literally had nothing positive to offer on the stat sheet in 12 minutes on Saturday with only one foul and one missed field goal attempt. The Wizards led the NBA in player efficiency rating allowed to power forwards this regular season, so Johnson may have a tough time putting up a big line. He'll also really need to avoid foul trouble, which is a problem for him. Patrick Patterson should also play more than Psycho T.
Apr 24 - 7:03 PM

Raymond Felton will start against the Rockets on Friday in place of Rajon Rondo (back).

Usually, the Mavs would go with J.J. Barea, but they're so thin that they need to get Felton in the rotation because of Chandler Parsons (knee) also out. Felton is likely going to act as an off-ball guard while Monta Ellis handles the offense. Barea is not as attractive in fantasy leagues because it's going to be tough for him to log at least 24 minutes. Additionally, the Mavs used a three-guard lineup of Monta, Felton and Barea three minutes in the second half in Game 2, so coach Rick Carlisle will likely go that route again. Devin Harris should also get minutes close to 20.
Apr 24 - 6:49 PM

David Lee (back) is not listed on the injury report for Game 4 on Saturday.

He was expected to play 3-on-3 today and it apparently went well. Lee may not be in the rotation and he would only be Draymond Green's backup at best. Green has at least 40 minutes in all three playoff games this season while Andrew Bogut is also getting 29.7 minutes of playing time. Don't expect much out of Lee in the playoffs.
Apr 24 - 6:02 PM

Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is probable to play against the Grizzlies in Game 3 on Saturday.

He was able to do some shooting before Wednesday, but his shoulder looked to be an issue on long-range shots. Afflalo was pushing a weighed sled on Friday, which suggests he's a lot closer to being healthy. C.J. McCollum played 37 minutes in Game 1 and just 29 minutes in Game 2, so maybe he's lost some playing time due to making just 19.0 percent from the field in the playoffs. Expect C.J. and Allen Crabbe to lose more minutes. Afflalo is still not someone fantasy owners can trust due to his lackluster numbers since joining the Blazers.
