Raymond Felton suffered a right heel bruise in Sunday's game, but he's not expected to miss any time.

Felton left the game and then returned very quickly, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on as heel injuries can become more serious if not treated properly. If Felton were forced to miss any time, Jason Kidd, Iman Shumpert and Pablo Prigioni would all see more minutes.

With a Jeremy Lin-to-Lakers trade now "imminent," according to Marc Stein, the belief is that Chris Bosh has chosen to join the Rockets over the Heat.

Both teams have reportedly offered Bosh a max-contract, while the Rockets have said all along that they weren't going to move Lin until they had a commitment from Bosh. While this is certainly not official, it does seem to indicate that Bosh will leave Miami for Houston. The Rockets should also match Chandler Parsons' offer sheet and if it happens, they should be one of the best teams in the league. And with only Dwyane Wade and some role players left in Miami, it could be a very, very long season for the Heat.

The Rockets are reportedly finalizing a deal that will send Jeremy Lin to the Lakers.

The move will give Houston the cap space to sign Chris Bosh, and Lin might just be the new starting point guard in Los Angeles. Details of the deal have yet to emerge, so we'll fill in the blanks as they become available.

ESPN is reporting that the Cavaliers have opened up trade talks with the Timberwolves with a deal involving Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett a pick, and Andrew Wiggins.

Kevin Love would sign an extension to play alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, so Cleveland will probably do everything in their power to bring Love on board. They'll likely have to include Andrew Wiggins if they are serious about getting Love, as David Kahn is no longer running the show in Minnesota. If Cleveland goes big for Love, it could entice Golden State to finally include Klay Thompson in their proposal.

The Mavericks appear to be resigned to the fact the Rockets are going to match their offer sheet to Chandler Parsons, meaning Dallas will now turn it's sights to guys like Trevor Ariza and Luol Deng.

Ariza is younger and has more gas left in the tank, while Deng is a more consistent and reliable option. Either way, it would be pretty shocking at this point if both Chris Bosh and Chandler Parsons aren't both in the Rockets starting lineup next season.

The Lakers are reportedly no longer an option for Carmelo Anthony, and he is now deciding between Chicago and New York.

So it seems the decision will come down to winning-now, vs. playing for his home team. The Knicks can offer Melo the most money, and reports seems to have Anthony leaning in that direction, but nothing is official until Anthony makes a statement. Stay tuned.
Jul 11 - 2:12 PM

The Rockets are reportedly trying to trade Jeremy Lin to the Lakers, who have copious salary cap space for Lin's expiring $14.9 million contract.

The Lakers and Bucks now seem like the frontrunners to acquire Lin, whom the Rockets need to unload in order to give Chris Bosh a max contract offer. The 76ers also aren't out of the running for Lin, but his fantasy value would probably be best served in L.A.
Jul 11 - 2:03 PM

Kevin Love is reportedly "intrigued" by the idea of playing with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving on the Cavaliers, and would commit to a long-term contract in Cleveland.

In late June the Cavs' pursuit of Love was reportedly dead in the water because he refused to re-sign with them, but as usual LeBron is a game-changer. The Cavs are rumored to have made an offer centered around No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins, and the Wolves may be hard-pressed to get a better offer, so this could quickly progress. For now, however, it remains only a fascinating possibility.

Updating a previous report, the Rockets expect that Chris Bosh will "soon" agree to sign in Houston now that LeBron James has opted to leave the Heat.

The Rockets have offered Bosh a four-year, $88 million deal and they're willing to pay a steep luxury tax to assemble a championship-caliber core that also includes James Harden, Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons. Before Bosh could sign anything, the Rockets will need to complete trades sending away Omer Asik (to the Pelicans) and Jeremy Lin (in talks with the 76ers). At the moment it doesn't seem as though Bosh is considering any other teams.

The Rockets are "moving quickly" to trade Jeremy Lin and clear enough cap space to make an offer to Chris Bosh, and they're in negotiations with the 76ers.

Lin has also been linked to the Bucks, and Rockets GM Daryl Morey has simply been waiting for the first shoe to drop before trading Lin away. To entice a team to accept Lin's $15 million salary this year, Houston will likely include draft picks and/or young players. Bosh will reportedly get a max offer worth $96 million over four years, and if he accepts it the Rockets are expected to also match Chandler Parsons' hefty $45 million offer sheet from the Mavericks. Things will progress quickly now that LeBron has made his decision.

If Chris Bosh agrees to sign with the Rockets, they will likely match the Mavericks' offer sheet for Chandler Parsons.

LeBron James' decision to leave the Heat puts Houston in a great position to sign Bosh. If they do land him, sources tell beat writer Jonathan Feigen that the Rockets feel "it would be worth paying a stiff luxury tax" to have a core that included James Harden, Dwight Howard, Bosh and Parsons.

LeBron James announced on Friday that he will return to Cleveland as a member of the Cavaliers.

James will spurn the Heat to re-sign with the hometown franchise he left in heartbreaking fashion in 2010. In an exclusive interview with SI.com titled "I'm Coming Home," James says, "My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now." His momentous decision should have an immediate chain reaction. Carmelo Anthony and other free agents are now freed to make their own decisions, and Chris Bosh may accept a max offer from the Rockets. The Cavs also have a rumored trade offer to the Wolves for Kevin Love, which would undoubtedly involve Andrew Wiggins. While the Cavs instantly become a championship contender with LeBron on board, the Heat are left patching together their roster as they enter the post-LeBron era.
