Deron Williams said that his ankles are feeling better following his most recent round of cortisone shots, but admitted that his ankles wear down toward the end of games.

It's the third time this season Williams has had cortisone shots to his ankles. Shooting just 31.9 percent during the fourth quarter this season, the first year of Williams' new maximum contract hasn't gone exactly according to plan. "It's not like I haven't wanted to be aggressive, it's just like my ankles wear down quarter by quarter and toward the end of the game, it's like I have no lift." The issues with his ankles aren't going away, and the Nets are going to have a hard time living up to the hype with Williams clearly less than 100 percent. He's averaging 17.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 triples on 41.6 percent shooting.

Kevin Martin (hamstrings) and Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play against the Rockets on Friday.

Martin said he expects to be better next week, so he is probably going to miss at least a couple more games. Andrew Wiggins has been logging major minutes and will look to strength his case for Rookie of the Year. Lorenzo Brown will be getting most of Martin's minutes.
Mar 27 - 6:57 PM

Andrew Nicholson will slide into the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Pistons with Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) unavailable.

This will be Nicholson's second start of the season. He managed to put up 13 points, six rebounds and three assists during his last stint with the starting unit, but he's only worth a look as a last-minute streamer option in very deep leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:56 PM

Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr said that Klay Thompson (ankle) will no longer be with a hard minutes limit, but he would still like to keep at around 25-30 minutes.

Basically, if the Warriors can get another blowout tonight expect to see Klay on the bench early. That being said, even if Klay is held to the lower-end of the minutes spectrum, that's still plenty of time for him to produce quality statistics for his fantasy teams, and remains a must-start guy every time he's in uniform. Get him active.
Mar 27 - 6:49 PM

Dwyane Wade (knee) is in the starting lineup against the Hawks on Friday.

Apparently Wade really wants to play on 2 Chainz night in the ATL. He was not expected to play earlier today and skipped shootaround this morning. For what it's worth, Wade was in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but he didn't play in that game. Start him at your own risk in daily leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:40 PM

Josh Smith will slide into the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves, with Donatas Motiejunas (back) unavailable.

With Motiejunas and Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) out, and Dwight Howard on a minutes limit tonight, J Smoov is going to get all the run he can handle in a very favorable matchup with the Wolves. He looks like a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:25 PM

Bradley Beal (ankle) will start against the Hornets on Friday.

The Wizards dodged a bullet here with Garrett Temple (hamstring) out and this injury also occurring to Beal's troublesome right leg. He can be started in all leagues tonight in a very important game for the Wizards.
Mar 27 - 6:25 PM

Donatas Motiejunas (back) will not play against the Wolves on Friday.

He could miss a couple more games because he couldn't even make it through shootaround today. With Donuts out, Josh Smith will start and could play minutes in the mid 30s. Expect to see more Trevor Ariza at the four.
Mar 27 - 6:22 PM

Robert Covington will return to the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

Covington has been en fuego over the last two, draining 11 three-pointers while offering a little bit of everything. Make sure you have him in your active lineup. It's not clear at this point if Jason Richardson will be rested, or if he's simply coming off the bench, but he's been pretty awful lately so his status shouldn't matter in most leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:21 PM

Jeremy Lin (illness) will play against the Raptors on Friday night.

Considering the Lakers are holding out healthy players, it's a surprise to see him active with his sinus issue. If he's limited, Wayne Ellington and Jabari Brown will get more playing time.
Mar 27 - 6:13 PM

Chris Andersen (calf) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

With Hassan Whiteside (hand) and Andersen unavailable, Udonis Haslem will likely be forced into heavy minutes again tonight, and he's worth a look as a low-end, plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Henry Walker, Luol Deng, and Michael Beasley will all likely split minutes at the four-spot, with Deng offering the most upside out of that group.
Mar 27 - 6:11 PM

Mo Williams (sore knee) plans to play Friday vs. the Wizards.

Williams sat out practice on Thursday, but he'll try and give it a go tonight. Head coach Steve Clifford said that he will be monitoring Williams' sore knee closely in games, and he will limit his participation in practices. It sounds like Williams will give it a go tonight, but he could be yanked at the first sign of trouble, making him a risky play in standard leagues.
