Nuggets coach George Karl says Danilo Gallinari (thigh) should play Wednesday night.

Gallinari was less than optimistic on Tuesday when asked if he would be able to suit up and Karl also said Monday he thought Gallo would be able to play, which he didn't. Realistically, this is going to be a legitimate game-time decision and owners will just have to check back closer to tip-off for the final world.

Hassan Whiteside (bone bruise in knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Pacers.

Oct 20 - 2:20 PM

Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) has been ruled out, but Zach Randolph (oral surgery) has been upgraded to probable for Friday's game vs. Dallas.

Z-Bo, who sat out the season opener on Wednesday, is expected to start alongside Willie Cauley-Stein on Friday. Skal Labissiere started in place of Randolph on Wednesday and tallied 12 points and 10 boards in 33 minutes. Skal will see less playing time with Z-Bo back in the mix. Kosta Koufos could also see his minutes reduced.
Oct 20 - 1:39 PM

Andre Iguodala (back) will play Friday against the Pelicans.

Draymond Green (knee) will also play on Friday, meaning the Warriors will have their full complement of weapons. Iggy's return will likely eat into Nick Young's minutes. Swaggy P poured in 23 points and knocked down six 3-pointers in the Warriors season opener. Patrick McCaw and Jordan Bell will also probably see fewer minutes off the Golden State bench.
Oct 20 - 1:00 PM

Stanley Johnson did not participate in morning shootaround and his status is uncertain for Friday night's game vs. the Wizards.

Coach Stan Van Gundy said that Johnson was dealing with back spasms at the end of Wednesday's game. Johnson struggled mightily in the season opener (0-for-13 from the floor), but did play a game-high 40 minutes. Thus, if he is sidelined, there will be plenty of playing time up for grabs. Jon Leuer would likely replace Johnson in the starting lineup and soak up most of those minutes. Henry Ellenson could see an uptick in playing time as well.
Oct 20 - 12:53 PM

Draymond Green (knee) and Andre Iguodala (back) will play Friday vs. the Pelicans.

There was some concern in Golden State when Green took a shot to the knee in Tuesday's season opener, but the MRI on Wednesday came back clean and Green was able to practice fully on Thursday. He's ready to rock and should be in all starting fantasy lineups for Friday's showdown with New Orleans' dynamic duo of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.
Oct 20 - 12:42 PM

Chris Paul (left knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Paul looked hobbled in Houston's season opener on Tuesday and then sat out Wednesday's victory over Sacramento. It's certainly not encouraging that the Rockets have already ruled out CP3 but, hopefully, Houston is just being cautious. We should get a full medical update from the team over the weekend. In the meantime, James Harden, who led the league in assists last season, will resume running point and posting monster numbers. Eric Gordon will also continue to shoulder much of the offensive load.
Oct 20 - 12:31 PM

Aaron Gordon (sore left ankle) went through morning shootaround but said a decision as to whether he will play Friday night vs. the Nets would be made "closer to tip-off."

Gordon told reporters that he hurt his ankle in a collision with Hassan Whiteside on Wednesday. Gordon was able to play through the pain in the second half, but has been dealing with soreness the last two days. Unfortunately, we'll likely have to wait until this evening before getting confirmation on Gordon's status. If Gordon is unable to play, rookie Jonathan Isaac and Marreese Speights would see an uptick in minutes. Jonathon Simmons might also log some time at the four spot.
Oct 20 - 12:12 PM

Coach Brad Stevens said that Marcus Smart (ankles) is "likely out" for Friday's game vs. the Sixers.

Smart said he rolled both his ankles in Wednesday's loss to Milwaukee. His left ankle was heavily wrapped at Friday's shootaround. The Celtics have little backcourt/wing depth with Gordon Hayward (leg) out indefinitely. If Smart is sidelined, Terry Rozier and Abdel Nader would see additional minutes backing up both guard spots. Semi Ojeleye would likely see an uptick in playing time on the wing.
Oct 20 - 11:00 AM

Myles Turner (sore neck) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Blazers.

Turner looked terrific on opening night, tallying 21 points, 14 boards and four blocks. However, he hurt his neck trying to fight through a cross-screen during the game. He played through it but has dealt with soreness over the last two days. If Turner is sidelined, Coach Nate McMillan said that Domantas Sabonis would start at center. T.J. Leaf and Al Jefferson would also likely see an uptick in minutes. Sabonis had 16 points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes on Wednesday and may be worth a dart throw as a cheap DFS option Friday.
Oct 20 - 10:49 AM

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) is not with the team and will not play Friday vs. the Hawks.

MKG did not play in the season opener either, as he has been away from the team for nearly two weeks now. The Hornets have not yet provided details as to the reason for Kidd-Gilchrist's absence or when he is expected to return. Dwayne Bacon drew the start on Wednesday, scoring eight points in 20 minutes. Malik Monk and Treveon Graham will likely see additional minutes again on Friday as well.
Oct 20 - 9:55 AM

Cody Zeller (right knee bone bruise) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

Zeller was solid in the season opener, scoring eight points and pulling down nine rebounds in 23 minutes. However, he was unable to escape unscathed. With Zeller sidelined, Dwight Howard, Marvin Williams and Frank Kaminsky will likely be asked to log extra minutes. Johnny O'Bryant may also make his way into the rotation.
