The NBA has suspended David Lee for Wednesday's game against the Knicks for his role in a fight with Indiana's Roy Hibbert on Tuesday night.

Hibbert and Lee were involved in a shoving match that eventually led to Hibbert taking Lee's teammate Stephen Curry to the ground. Lee's agent told Sam Amick of USA Today that his client will appeal the ban, but that will only help Lee recoup his game check. Hibbert was also suspended for one game, while several others were fined for their roles in the scrap. Lee was already questionable to play Wednesday because of his badly bruised left shoulder, so at least he'll be able to take tonight off to heal. Owners in daily leagues will want to get him out of their lineups immediately. Harrison Barnes and Carl Landry should benefit heavily from Lee's absence Wednesday.

Derrick Rose will not return to Tuesday's game due to left hamstring tightness.

Rose's left hamstring caused him to miss four games prior to his return on Monday, and he didn't last long before going back on the injury report. The daily guessing game about his status will continue on Friday when the Bulls play in Boston. Considering the Bulls' protective stance regarding their former MVP, and the fact that hamstring injuries are easy to aggravate, we're not optimistic that he'll be in uniform vs. Rajon Rondo and the Celtics. Check back for updates on Tuesday, and anticipate Kirk Hinrich starting at PG if Rose misses more games.
Nov 25 - 10:26 PM

Andrew Bogut's bruised orbital bone didn't slow him down vs. the Heat on Tuesday, as he notched eight points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks in a road victory.

We'll keep an eye on Bogut leading up to Wednesday's game in Orlando, but all signs point to him being ready for a tough matchup with Nikola Vucevic. The oft-injured big man looks rejuvenated under Steve Kerr this year, and is flirting with top-50 value despite playing only 25 minutes per game.
Nov 25 - 10:23 PM

Stephen Curry torched the Heat for a season-high 40 points in Tuesday's road win, making 12-of-19 field goals including a season-high eight 3-pointers.

This was just Curry's second 20-point performance in the Warriors' past seven games, but his fantasy value hasn't suffered thanks to his ability to fill up the stat sheet. He went 8-of-9 from the FT line and a ridiculous 8-of-11 from downtown, as the Heat simply couldn't defend him once he started feeling it. Reggie Miller wrote on Twitter that Curry may have overtaken Drazen Petrovic as the greatest 3-point shooter Miller has ever seen -- that's lofty praise, but it's hard to argue otherwise.
Nov 25 - 10:21 PM

Paul Pierce had 14 points in Tuesday's home loss vs. Atlanta, and in the process he passed Jerry West to become the 17th-leading scorer in NBA history.

Pierce overtook West with point number 25,194, a testament to his durability as well as his elite scoring ability. The 37-year-old has settled in nicely with the Wizards this year, returning mid-round value with averages of 13.1 points, 1.3 triples, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.7 steals per game.
Nov 25 - 9:50 PM

Jeff Teague had 28 points (8-of-18 FGs, 12-of-15 FTs), three assists, two steals and one block in Tuesday's impressive road win, giving him three straight games with at least 20 points.

Teague has three single-digit scoring games this year but they shouldn't obscure his value, as he's currently the 12th best point guard to own in 9-cat leagues. Kyle Korver is shooting lights-out from beyond the arc, and guards Shelvin Mack and Dennis Schroder are also playing well in reserve roles, giving Atlanta enviable backcourt depth.
Nov 25 - 9:47 PM

Bulls F Cameron Bairstow will start Tuesday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Joakim Noah (eye, knee) and Taj Gibson (ankle) are out and Pau Gasol is filling in at center, and coach Tom Thibodeau likely didn't want to disrupt his bench by starting Nikola Mirotic at PF. Bairstow has played a total of 11 minutes this season and fantasy owners should leave him on the waiver wire.
Nov 25 - 9:13 PM

John Henson was helped off the court on Tuesday with a sprained left foot, and he will not return.

He began limping after challenging a shot on defense and the Bucks quickly diagnosed him with a sprained foot. If the injury is serious enough to cost him any games, a few extra minutes would be available for Larry Sanders, Zaza Pachulia and Ersan Ilyasova.
Nov 25 - 8:49 PM

Joakim Noah has been diagnosed with a left knee effusion, more commonly referred to as water on the knee, and he will not play on Tuesday.

Noah also has an eye injury, but his surgically-repaired left knee is a more serious concern for fantasy owners. Pau Gasol will shift to center in his absence and Nikola Mirotic is a terrific speculative pick-up, having averaged 13.3 points, 2.0 threes and 7.0 rebounds over Chicago's past four games. The Bulls play in Boston on Friday, so Noah's owners will have to stay alert for updates over the next few days. At the moment we're considering him day-to-day.
Nov 25 - 7:50 PM

Kirk Hinrich (chest) will play vs. the Nuggets on Tuesday.

He's probably not 100 percent healthy, but the Bulls' tough veteran will suit up as Derrick Rose's primary backup. As long as Rose is healthy there's no reason to touch Hinrich in 12-team fantasy leagues.
Nov 25 - 7:37 PM

The Kings are hopeful that Rudy Gay (Achilles) will be able to return for Friday's game vs. the Spurs.

That means that Gay is not expected to be available for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets, and we'll be monitoring his status closely. Omri Casspi has slid into the starting lineup with Gay sidelined, and he can be a nice short-term option for owners seeking some 3-point shooting. Stay tuned for an official update on Gay's status as we draw closer to Wednesday's tip.
Nov 25 - 7:29 PM

The Lakers have been awarded a $4.85 million disabled player exception for Steve Nash, who is out for the season with nerve damage.

The Lakers are over the salary cap and this exception will allow them to sign a free agent for the remainder of the season, or possibly trade for a player in the final year of their contract. We should hear reports about possible targets for L.A. in the coming days, so owners in deep leagues should keep an eye out for updates.
