Rudy Gay (back spasms) will return to action on Monday, sending Landry Fields back to the bench.

Gay only missed one game with the injury and he should be activated in all leagues. He'll try to help the Raptors snap their four-game skid with a win in Golden State, against a Warriors team that has also lost four straight.

Updating a previous report, Patrick Beverley (groin) will play on Saturday vs. the Wolves.

Wow. He was ruled out less than an hour ago, but the Rockets changed their mind after he worked and told them that he was feeling better. Beverley will stick in the starting lineup and there's no word of any restrictions. We'll let you know how he fares after the game.
Feb 25 - 7:59 PM

Skal Labissiere grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds against the Hornets on Saturday, adding eight points, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes.

He played nine minutes in the first half and the final 14 minutes with this game getting into garbage time. Labissiere looks to be the power forward of the future for the Kings with Anthony Tolliver as his main competition for minutes. After his career-high 12 points on Thursday, he's shown off as a scorer in the past two games with some catch-and-shoot to go with putting it on the floor. Skal is clearly trending up and is already worth a look in 16-team leagues.
Feb 25 - 7:58 PM

Updating a previous item, Lance Thomas will start and not Kyle O'Quinn against the 76ers on Saturday.

This makes a lot more sense than the previous report. Thomas started the second half on Thursday and played 31 minutes, so he should get plenty of run. He's till only a deep-league stream with Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) having a chance to play Monday.
Feb 25 - 7:44 PM

Clint Capela will start against the Wolves on Saturday.

Coach Mike D'Antoni has been mixing it up with his five man and will go with Capela against Karl-Anthony. Towns. Capela has played 24.3 minutes per game this month, but he may be closer to 30 in this matchup. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Feb 25 - 7:24 PM

Hollis Thompson will start at shooting guard against the Mavs on Saturday.

The Pelicans have Jrue Holiday, Tim Frazier and a bunch of 10-day deal guards for tonight. Thompson should be looking at minutes in the 20s while Frazier should see a decent amount of minutes next to Holiday. Frazier would be the better DFS play today.
Feb 25 - 7:11 PM

Jerian Grant will start against the Cavs on Saturday.

Coach Fred Hoiberg said he wanted to keep Rajon Rondo in the rotation, so Grant may not get many minutes in the start. He's not a fantasy option.
Feb 25 - 7:03 PM

Nerlens Noel will come off the bench against the Pelicans on Saturday.

He is going to start very soon, but the Mavs will go with Dirk Nowitzki at center for at least one more time. Noel isn't in a better system compared to Philly, but there's no doubt he'll be getting more playing time. He should be a mid-round guy going forward.
Feb 25 - 7:00 PM

LeBron James (illness) will not play against the Bulls on Saturday night.

He is not even in the building due to his illness. Richard Jefferson will start for LeBron, but it'll obviously be a team effort to replace James' elite passing, 37.5 minutes and 29.2 usage rate. Via NBAWowy, Kyrie Irving has a whopping 45.5 usage rate in his 149 minutes without LeBron and Kevin Love(knee). There should be more shots for basically the entire rotation, as well.
Feb 25 - 6:49 PM

Al Jefferson (dental pain) is out for Saturday against the Heat.

He had a procedure earlier this week and will miss his second straight game. Rakeem Christmas was the backup five and actually played well, so maybe he can get 15 minutes behind Myles Turner. Christmas isn't an add almost anywhere, of course.
Feb 25 - 6:44 PM

Coach Brett Brown said he hopes to play Justin Anderson against the Knicks on Saturday.

With aging, oft-inured Gerald Henderson playing 31 minutes and Robert Covington playing some backup four, there's a good chance there are some minutes for Anderson to make his debut. He was a DNP-CD on Friday, so there's no need to add him almost anywhere yet.
Feb 25 - 6:13 PM

T.J. McConnell, Gerald Henderson, Robert Covington, Dario Saric and Jahlil Okafor will start against the Knicks on Saturday.

It's the same starting five for the 76ers tonight. We'll see if Okafor is on a short leash after Richaun Holmes lit it up on Friday night. Robert Covington also played 15 minutes at power forward on Friday, so there are minutes up for grabs on the wings.
