Serge Ibaka celebrated his avoidance of a suspension for tagging Blake Griffin's groin on Sunday by dropping 13 points, six rebounds, two blocks and another 3-pointer on 6-of-8 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Lakers.

Ibaka had hit a total of two 3-pointers entering the season, but has somehow dropped 15 of them this year, hitting nearly 40 percent from beyond the arc. The fact he avoided a suspension was a gift to his fantasy owners, courtesy of David Stern, and he'll play three more times this week before playing four times in each of the following two weeks. But it's not pretty after that, as the Thunder play just three games per week for the final full three weeks of the regular season, which could be a fantasy disaster in playoff leagues.

Hassan Whiteside (left ankle) is a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.

Whiteside was able to practice on Tuesday and Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said he was encouraged by how the big man looked, so it's likely we'll see him on the court against the Spurs. Check back to make sure he's active for Tuesday, but Whiteside should be started as long as he's in the Heat lineup.

Devin Harris (sprained left toe) will miss Tuesday's game against the Jazz.

Harris will miss his eighth straight game on Tuesday as the Mavs attempt to get him healthy for the second half of the season. We'll likely see Harris after the All-Star Break, but Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea will pick up extra minutes on Tuesday in his stead.

Kevin Durant scored a game-high 32 points during a 122-106 win over the Suns on Monday, adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and five 3-pointers.

He scored 25 in the second half and is a scoring machine in his last seven, averaging 34.4 points, 9.9 boards, 4.3 assists, 1.3 blocks, 0.9 steals and 3.3 treys on 50.3 percent from the field, 45.1 percent from deep and 92.8 percent from the line. KD is getting close to a 50/40/90 year again at 50.6 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from deep and 89.5 percent from the line. He's created some separation as fantasy's No. 2 player in standard leagues.
Feb 9 - 1:19 AM

Damian Lillard scored 33 points during a 112-106 win in Memphis on Monday, adding four rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

It's his 12th 30-point game on the season, which is the most he's had in a season already. Lillard also broke his tie with Russell Westbrook for sixth place in the points-per-game rankings. Lillard was also really struggling from deep, but he put up five-plus treys for the first time since Jan. 23. The Blazers are 0.5 games behind the Jazz for the eighth seed.
Feb 9 - 12:49 AM

Nikola Vucevic scored 28 points against the Hawks during a 117-110 overtime win on Monday, adding 13 rebounds, six assists and one block.

The Hawks are probably glad they won't see Vucevic for a while after he beat them for a game-winner on Sunday. Vooch is playing really well again over his last five, averaging 19.8 points, 8.8 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks on 51.7 percent from the field. He's sitting on third-round value on the season.
Feb 9 - 12:02 AM

Ryan Anderson scored 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting in Monday's 116-102 win over the Wolves.

The forward added three boards, one block and one steal in 31 minutes, helping the Pelicans snap a four-game losing skid. Anderson had a six-point dud on 2-of-11 shooting on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers, so it was nice to see him get back on track. With the trade deadline just a little more than a week away (Feb. 18), expect the trade talking surrounding Anderson to heat up. The Pelicans play two more times this week.
Feb 8 - 11:51 PM

Kyle Lowry kept his foot on the gas pedal in Monday's win over the Pistons with 25 points, seven assists and three boards in 38 minutes.

He also had two steals and two triples and was an efficient 9-of-14 from the field. He's been unstoppable over his last three games with averages of 27.0 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 boards, 2.0 steals and 4.7 3-pointers, and the only player that has been better in standard leagues over that span is John Wall.
Feb 8 - 11:01 PM

Nikola Jokic played just 14 minutes in Monday's loss to the Nets, scoring two points with three boards, one steal and one turnover.

He struggled against Brook Lopez and shot just 1-of-5 from the field. The Nuggets gave Jusuf Nurkic 17 minutes and played Kenneth Faried next to Danilo Gallinari in the frontcourt down the stretch, so this was likely just a matchup-based decision. Jokic also played just 19 minutes vs. the Knicks on Sunday, but it's still not time for his owners to panic. Stick with him and expect him to be much better vs. the Pistons on Wednesday.

According to sources of ESPN's Marc Stein, the Kings are expected to fire coach George Karl in the coming days.

Karl has been on the hot seat for a while now and it doesn't help that the Kings have lost four straight games, and the last three haven't exactly been close. The Kings don't play again until Wednesday vs. the 76ers, so it will be interesting to see if they make a change prior to that one. Kings assistant coach Corliss Williamson is said to be the favorite to replace Karl, but that is all speculation for now.
Feb 8 - 10:27 PM

LeBron James had his first triple-double of the season during a 120-100 win over the Kings on Monday, scoring 21 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.

It's the 40th triple-double of the season, which is the seventh most in NBA history. James is getting more shots now even with Kyrie Irving coming around, averaging 25.0 points, 7.6 boards, 6.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.6 treys. He'll hang around late-first value going forward.
Feb 8 - 10:11 PM

Kyrie Irving handed out a season-high 12 assists against the Kings on Monday with 32 points, three rebounds, one block and five 3-pointers.

He failed to bust out before tonight because his 3-point shooting wasn't dropping. That wasn't the case tonight as Irving hit 5-of-8 from there in this win. His breakout last year had a lot to do with hitting treys, so expect him to keep it going and improve from a quiet start this season.
