Carmelo Anthony, who is day-to-day with his knee injury, is being listed as questionable for Saturday's game.

We don't love that Melo is listed questionable already given there is still so much time before Saturday's tipoff, but we can't say we're surprised. Mike Woodson said that Melo would "eventually" be back on the floor, leaving some to wonder whether the knee injury is truly a day-to-day issue. We should know more on Saturday, but Melo could be headed for another game-time decision.

Kyle Korver (ankle) is seeking a second opinion, and there has been no decision made on whether or not he needs surgery.

Teammate DeMarre Carroll got the wheels spinning when he suggested Korver would need surgery, but that is premature and inaccurate at this point. Korver will see a foot and ankle specialist before a course of action is determined, and while it's possible he could have surgery, nothing has been decided. The Hawks have said there is no break of any kind in Korver's ankle, but a severe sprain could involve ligament tears, swelling and bruising among other damage. We need to wait for an official diagnosis before speculating any further, but don't expect to see Korver again this postseason.

Kyrie Irving (knee) is likely to be a game-time decision for Tuesday's Game 4 vs. Atlanta.

Irving worked out before Game 3 for about 40 minutes, but he was not cleared by team doctors and it was always doubtful that he'd be able to take the floor. Now armed with a 3-0 series lead, the Cavs could opt to play it safe and having Irving sit out another contest. If that happens, Matthew Dellavedova would draw another start.

LeBron James admitted to dealing with cramping among other injuries in Sunday's dramatic Game 3 win over the Hawks.

"I gave it everything I had tonight," he said. James was in obvious pain, especially with his ankle, and he fell to the floor in exhaustion after the contest had concluded. James described fighting through "the most pain of his career," but said after the game that nothing would prevent him from playing in Tuesday's Game 4. "If I'm putting on the uniform and going on the floor, I got to make things happen for our team. It's that simple."

The Hawks lost Game 3 on Sunday despite Jeff Teague's personal playoff-best 30 points on 9-of-23 field goals and 9-of-9 free throws.

Teague sank three 3-pointers while pitching in six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and zero turnovers in 43 minutes of action. He benefitted from the absence of Kyrie Irving (knee) tonight yet his aggressive and efficient play wasn't enough to overcome the loss of Kyle Korver (ankle) as well as Al Horford's early ejection in Game 3. The Hawks' star PG should give another all-out effort vs. Cleveland's depleted backcourt on Tuesday, which is worth keeping an eye on in daily fantasy leagues.
May 25 - 12:19 AM

Al Horford was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday's game after a Flagrant-2 foul when he dropped an elbow on Matthew Dellavedova's neck.

The play was reminiscent of Taj Gibson's highly-questionable Flagrant-2 vs. Dellavedova in the second round of the playoffs. Dellavedova appeared to intentionally undercut Horford to prevent a rebound as he fell to the ground, and Horford used his elbow when he subsequently fell atop Dellavedova. The play didn't warrant an ejection but it fits the league's definition for a Flagrant-2 and will be automatically reviewed for a potential fine or suspension. It's a devastating turn of events for Atlanta as they seek to avoid falling into an 0-3 hole in the Eastern Conference Finals. Mike Muscala will start the second half and Pero Antic will also be asked to play an expanded role with Horford temporarily out of commission.
May 24 - 9:44 PM

Kent Bazemore will draw the start in place of Kyle Korver (ankle) for Game 3 vs. the Cavaliers on Sunday.

Korver is out for the remainder of the postseason, so Bazemore should be locked in as the starter moving forward. In 10 starts during the regular season, Bazemore averaged 10.2 points, 4.8 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 3-pointers, so he could be a solid option in daily leagues.
May 24 - 10:25 AM

Stephen Curry set the record for most 3-pointers in a postseason during a destruction of the Rockets on Saturday, scoring 40 points with five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and seven 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

The Rockets must have forgot who Stephen Curry is because they continued to leave him open on 3-pointers. He was 3-of-3 from the left corner tonight and is now 91 percent from that area in these playoffs. He's seriously not fair and already has two 40-point games in the playoffs. Maybe the Rockets can guard him on Monday to avoid a sweep.
May 23 - 11:50 PM

Draymond Green was outstanding as per usual during a 115-80 win over the Rockets on Saturday, making 8-of-16 from the field for 17 points with 13 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

He is doing everything and turned in his best offensive game since April. The Warriors are now 55-0 in the regular season and playoffs when they have a 15-point lead. As much credit as their offensive gets, that stat probably wouldn't be true without their shut-down interior defense.
May 23 - 11:45 PM

James Harden made 3-of-16 from the field for 17 points with three rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes during an embarrassing 115-80 loss on Saturday.

It was bad. He got away with some contested mid-range shots on Thursday, but they just weren't falling today. Harden actually didn't have any makes at the rim tonight, which has been his bread and butter since joining the Rockets. Plus, his defense has been horrendous. The Rockets will try to keep their season alive on Monday.
May 23 - 11:43 PM

Coach Kevin McHale said on Saturday he'll play Dwight Howard (knee) "as much as we can."

Dwight was helping on defense a lot in Game 2 and it led to some very nice production out of Andrew Bogut. Howard also played 40 minutes in the loss and will likely be in that neighborhood again. McHale also said he expects to hit Howard in the post more, so there could be a 20-point game on the way.
May 23 - 7:21 PM

Kyle Korver (ankle) will not play in the remainder of the postseason due to a "severe right ankle sprain."

Ouch. While Korver hasn't been great in the postseason, his presence for spacing has been essential to the Hawks' offense. The Hawks haven't been the same due primarily to their struggles from beyond the arc and that burden has just grown with this loss. Kent Bazemore will likely start next to DeMarre Carroll on the wing. Dennis Schroder and Shelvin Mack will also have to step up. The Hawks may also use Mike Scott as a floor spacer in some lineups, which they did on Friday.
