Richard Hamilton (back) was officially ruled out of playing in the Bulls' next three games.

Hamilton won't travel with the team on their upcoming road trip that ends Friday against Golden State. Marco Belinelli will continue to see more time as long as Hamilton is out. The Italian guard has put together three straight games of at least 20 points, including Friday night's 22-point, four-rebound, three-assist performance that included a trio of 3-pointers.

J.J. Redick hit 6-of-13 shots, five 3-pointers and 10-of-10 free throws on his way to 27 points, two assists and nothing else in Tuesday's 104-91 win, helping the Sixers close out their series against the Heat 4-1.

With guys like Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Robert Covington, Ersan Ilyasova and Marco Belinelli doing the dirty work, the Sixers are quite content to let Redick bomb away from downtown and stay out of the way. His 27 points led the team tonight and he scored at least 24 points in three of the five games in this series. Redick and the Sixers will get the winner of the Bucks-Celtics series next.

Joel Embiid had 19 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, two steals and a block in 29 minutes as the Sixers beat the Heat 104-91 in Tuesday's Game 5, winning the series by a count of 4-1.

This is the Sixers' first trip to the second round since 2012 and Embiid's strong play is a big reason why the Sixers might not only win the East, but might even have a chance to win the entire shabang this year. Embiid has been back for three games since his orbital injury and is averaging 18.7 points, 10.3 boards, 3.0 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.0 3-pointers since returning. The Sixers will get the winner of the Celtics-Bucks series in the semis and the Celtics currently hold a 3-2 advantage in that one.

Josh Richardson (shoulder) is starting Game 5 on Tuesday.

He made it though the pre-game warmups without any setbacks and just received clearance from the training staff. With Miami's season on the line, we wouldn't expect Richardson to have restrictions unless his shoulder acts up.
Apr 24 - 7:20 PM

Semi Ojeleye is listed with the starters on Tuesday for Game 5.

Barring another late change, Ojeleye will move into the starting five in place of Aron Baynes. Coach Brad Stevens hinted that he was considering a change based on the matchup, and Ojeleye will give them a better defensive option on the likes of Giannis and Middleton. There aren't many fantasy implications here.

An MRI revealed a slight tear of the medial meniscus in Bogdan Bogdanovic's left knee, and he will undergo a minimally invasive meniscus debridement procedure on Tuesday.

We should get an official timetable for Bogdanovic's return date after the procedure is performed, but a knee scope isn't anything to be too terribly worried about and he'll have plenty of time to get himself ready for the 2018-19 season. After posting averages of 11.8 points, 3.3 dimes, 1.7 triples, 0.9 steals and 1.6 turnovers per game on 44.6% shooting during his rookie season, he'll be someone to think about snatching up towards the later rounds on draft day next year.

Marcus Smart (thumb) is a go for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Bucks.

Smart got through shootaround and his pregame routine without issue, so he'll be back in action following a six-week absence tonight, sporting a small splint on his surgically repaired right thumb. He's been informed by the Celtics medical staff that he's in no danger of suffering a setback, and said he's "not at all" concerned about being tentative in his first game back, although he could have a bit of a minutes limit as his conditioning might not be where it needs to be.
Apr 24 - 6:29 PM

Jeff Teague (dislocated finger) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's Game 5 in Houston.

Teague hurt his finger during Monday's Game 4 loss, but he was available to return, and there was never much doubt about his availability for tomorrow's game. We'll have official confirmation on his status closer to Wednesday's tip.
Apr 24 - 6:10 PM

Tyus Jones (right knee soreness) is questionable to play in Game 5 against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Jones sat out Monday's Game 4 loss, and it was Derrick Rose who was the primary beneficiary, logging 32 minutes off the bench. If he's again forced to the sidelines on Wednesday, it'll be Rose, Jeff Teague and Jamal Crawford divving up his minutes. Check back for another update following tomorrow's shootaround.

The NBA is reportedly reviewing Russell Westbrook's Game 4 incident, and deliberating whether or not a suspension is warrented for Game 5.

Westbrook was waiting to check in the game at the scorers table during the fourth quarter of the Game 4 loss, but got himself involved in an altercation between Raymond Felton and Rudy Gobert after a foul, stepping onto the court and slapping away Gobert's hand. Overall, this was a very minor incident, and while Westbrook did techinically leave the bench area, it would be absolutely shocking to see commisioner Adam Silver dish out a suspension for a crutial Game 5 in OKC. Stay tuned.
Apr 24 - 5:57 PM

John Henson (back soreness) did not travel with the team to Boston and has been ruled out of Tuesday's Game 5 vs. the Celtics.

Henson logged heavy minutes in Games 1 and 2, averaging 9.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks. However, he was forced to sit out Games 3 and 4, and Tuesday will be his third straight contest on the sideline. Tyler Zeller has started, but Thon Maker has been the primary beneficiary. Maker is averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 treys and 5.0 blocks in 27.6 minutes over the last two games. He is worthy DFS option on Tuesday.
Apr 24 - 11:19 AM

Coach Brad Stevens said that Marcus Smart (thumb) has been physically cleared to play Game 5 on Tuesday, but his availability will depend on how he feels after a late-morning workout.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, Smart said the plan was to return for Game 6 and that they were on track. He is officially listed as questionable on the injury report. However, considering Smart's tenacity and eagerness to return, it would be somewhat surprising if he was cleared to play but decided to sit out. Starting point guard Terry Rozier told reporters: "I think he’s playing. But you didn’t hear it from me." If Smart does return, Shane Larkin will likely be bumped from the rotation.
