Ty Lawson lit up the Wolves on Saturday for 32 points on 12-of-17 shooting, including a perfect 4-of-4 from downtown.

Lawson has been incandescent in recent weeks, scoring 20+ points in 11 of his past 13 games, and he's propelled his team to an eight-game win streak. It took nearly half the season, but fantasy owners are finally seeing the player they thought they drafted back in October.

Kyle O'Quinn will start Sunday vs. the 76ers, sending Channing Frye to the bench.

O'Quinn will draw a very favorable matchup today against the 76ers, and he'll make for a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Frye has been struggling lately, and a move to the bench isn't going to do him any favors, we'll let you know how they fare after the game.
Dec 21 - 5:13 PM

Elfrid Payton will draw the start at point guard for Sunday's game vs. the 76ers, shifting Victor Oladipo to shooting guard, and sending Evan Fournier to the bench.

Payton put up 11 points and 11 assists during his last outing, so his arrow is pointing up. He does however hurt owners with poor percentages (39.6 percent from the field and 47.0 percent from the line) so his upside is limited. Owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach.
Dec 21 - 5:06 PM

Marcus Smart will draw his first career start Sunday vs. the Heat, sending Evan Turner back to the bench.

Smart will draw a favorable matchup tonight vs. Miami, and it's likely he'll remain with the starting unit from here on out. He offers plenty of upside, and if he's somehow still available in your league, go and grab him now. The Celtics are rebuilding, so owners shouldn't fear Jameer Nelson taking much, if any, minutes away from Smart. He looks like a nice option in daily leagues.
Dec 21 - 4:45 PM

Dwyane Wade has a bruised knee that is currently being examined, and he will be a game-time decision Sunday vs. the Celtics.

If Wade is forced to sit on Sunday, Mario Chalmers is going to get all the run he can handle, and will serve as a quality option in daily leagues. Luol Deng will also be asked to step up on the offensive end, and he'll have a favorable matchup vs. the Celtics. Stay tuned.
Dec 21 - 4:30 PM

Jarret Jack will replace Deron Williams (calf) in the starting lineup for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons.

Jack has a nice matchup tonight vs. the Pistons, and he'll serve as a quality low-budget plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Williams' injury isn't expected to sideline him for too long, but as long as he's out, Jack will be starting and is worth an add in standard leagues.
Dec 21 - 4:26 PM

Deron Williams (calf) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons, and Jarret Jack will draw the start.

Deron's calf injury isn't expected to be serious, but he does usually take a bit longer to recover from injuries than your average player. Jack looks like a solid add in most leagues, and he'll serve as a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues as long as he's starting.
Dec 21 - 4:21 PM

Pau Gasol (chest contusion) is probable to play Monday vs. the Raptors.

This chest contusion is coming out of nowhere, but it's perhaps the reason Gasol struggled during his last outing shooting 4-of-13 from the field. The Bulls play a bit loosely with the term probable, so owners will want to check back for an official update closer to Monday's tip. If Gasol sits, Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic would be the primary beneficiaries. Stay tuned.
Dec 21 - 4:16 PM

Nick Young will not be suspended for his flagrant 2 foul on Steve Adams during Friday's game, and he will suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Kings.

Young is averaging 14.9 points and 2.3 three-pointers per game this season on 40.8 percent shooting from the field, go ahead and get him active.
Dec 21 - 4:05 PM

Joakim Noah (ankle) is being listed as probable for Monday's game vs. the Raptors.

Noah has been listed as probable for the past two games, and was able to suit up for both of those outings, so we'd expect him to be available on Monday. Still, owners will want to check back for an official update closer to Monday's tip.
Dec 21 - 3:58 PM

David Lee (hamstring) went through a full practice on Sunday, and he believes he'll be able to play Monday vs. the Kings.

Head coach Steve Kerr said that he plans to bring Lee off the bench, and he'll be limited to 12-15 minutes in his return. However, with Andrew Bogut (knee) not expected back until January, it's possible Lee eventually slides into the starting lineup at the center spot, and he should be owned in all leagues for his double-double potential. Marreese Speights' value will take a hit upon Lee's return.
Dec 21 - 3:47 PM

Iman Shumpert's dislocated left shoulder will not require surgery, and he will be re-evaluated in a few weeks.

"I wanted to get back on the court as soon as possible. But it’s a healing process," said Shumpert. "It’s a lot better now that it’s back in place. I don’t need any medication or anything for it, just ice." With both Shumpert and J.R. Smith (heel) sidelined, Tim Hardaway Jr. is going to get all the minutes he can handle and is looking like a must-own player in most leagues.
