Brandon Knight suffered an apparent left ankle sprain in the first half of Monday's game and he will not return.

He was down for a few minutes and couldn't put any weight on the ankle as he was helped to the locker room. It's been a rough couple days for him after getting destroyed by DeAndre Jordan and since he couldn't shoot the free throws, his night is over. Rodney Stuckey and Kyle Singler should step up while Knight is on the mend.

Tyson Chandler has agreed to a deal with the Suns.

Jul 1 - 3:15 PM

The Suns and Brandon Knight have agreed on a five-year, $70 million deal.

The Suns now have two guards with five-year, $70 million deals with Eric Bledsoe getting one last year. Coach Jeff Hornacek has been a fan of two-PG lineups, but both guys are more than capable of being shooting guards. However, both are sub-par passers and it'll be interesting to see if Knight can build off his breakout 2014-15 season.
Jul 1 - 2:58 PM

The Grizzlies and Mo Williams have been in contact regarding a contract.

There are some reports that Williams is getting close to a three- or four-year deal with Memphis. The Cavs were reportedly close on Mo, but it sounds like the Grizzlies have a decent chance.
Jul 1 - 2:43 PM

Kevin Love announced he will return to the Cavs and accept a five-year, $110 million deal.

"After Game 1 of the NBA Finals, that’s when it really struck me. Sitting on the sidelines, I never wanted to play in a game more than that one," Love said on his Players' Tribune article. "I had dreamed of playing in the NBA Finals and I just wanted to help my guys win. I couldn’t have been prouder of them as they poured their blood, sweat and tears onto the court." The Cavs are spending all sorts of money to get the band back together, so expect LeBron's deal to happen in the near future. Love will be worth a second or third round pick in fantasy leagues next year.
Jul 1 - 2:33 PM

The Cavs and Tristan Thompson are nearing a deal worth $80 million.

It seems like just yesterday Thompson was changing his shooting hand and struggling to get playing time. Thanks to being arguably the best rebounder in the postseason this summer, Thompson has set himself up for a big pay check. Presumably, this will be a five-year deal.
Jul 1 - 2:32 PM

Jimmy Butler is finalizing a max deal with the Bulls worth $95 million over five years.

The other teams after Butler have given up, so the Bulls have their man. There were some rumblings of Butler being worried about it being "Derrick Rose's team" and that will have to be something to watch. Butler led the NBA in minutes per game last season and was the eighth-best player in fantasy per game. He could be even better next year.
Jul 1 - 2:24 PM

Alexis Ajinca will sign a four-year, $20.2 million deal to remain with the Pelicans.

Ajinca was a solid option off the bench for the Pelicans last season with averages of 6.5 points, 4.6 boards and 0.8 blocks in just 14.1 minutes per game, so this deal was a great value. It's possible that Omer Asik leaves in free agency, so Ajinca could be pressed into a larger role if that is the case.
Jul 1 - 1:58 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are progressing in talks on a multi-year deal.

Wade reportedly wants a max contract offer, and the Heat will likely be more willing to give him one since Goran Dragic re-signed at a discount. The Lakers are reportedly still hoping to get a meeting with Wade, but it looks like the Heat are still the clear favorites to sign him.
Jul 1 - 1:27 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge could make a decision on his future very soon, and the Spurs are currently considered the frontrunners to land him.

The Lakers reportedly didn't make a strong impression on him, so it appears that they are likely out of the running. The Spurs just re-signed Danny Green to a cap-friendly four-year, $45 million deal, and they also cleared a lot of cap space by trading Tiago Splitter to the Hawks. Aldridge is currently meeting with the Spurs, and it wouldn't be surprising if an agreement is reached soon.
Jul 1 - 12:17 PM

DeMarre Carroll has agreed to a four-year, $60 million deal with the Raptors.

Terrence Ross was a huge disappointment for the Raptors last season, so Carroll will immediately step in as the starting small forward. It's a great signing for Toronto, as Carroll's defense, toughness and shooting stroke from beyond the arc will be a huge upgrade on the wing.
Jul 1 - 12:05 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Spurs have traded Tiago Splitter to the Hawks.

Wow. The Spurs just locked up Danny Green with a four-year, $45 million deal, but clearing Splitter's contract off the books will give them the cap space that they need to make a run at LaMarcus Aldridge (who they are meeting with shortly). The Hawks aren't going to be able to afford having Splitter, Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll on the roster, so something has to give. Stay tuned.
