Andrea Bargnani is not expected to return to the Raptors next season, according to the Toronto Sun.

We'll file this under "obvious." Bargnani has two seasons remaining on his contract, and it's going to be very difficult to trade him in the offseason for anything of real value. It would be nothing short of shocking to see Bargnani start next season with the Raptors.

Jeremy Lin (illness) will not play vs. the Nets on Sunday.

He is dealing with an upper respiratory infection, so hopefully he recovers in time for Monday's game vs. the 76ers. With Lin out of the lineup, Jordan Clarkson will likely log all the minute he can handle at point guard, while Wayne Ellington and Jabari Brown should also see some extra minutes on the wing. We will update Lin's status as soon as we know more.
Mar 29 - 1:41 PM

Brandon Knight (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder.

Knight went through a pretty strenuous practice on Saturday and said that he feels like his explosion is back. The Suns desperately need to beat the Thunder to stay alive in the playoff hunt, so there is a good chance that Knight gives it a go. He will likely be a game-time decision again tonight, so his owners will want to check back for an update before activating him in lineups. If Knight is unable to play, Marcus Morris will be the primary beneficiary while Archie Goodwin will see more minutes as well.
Mar 29 - 1:02 PM

Richard Jefferson will start in place of Monta Ellis (calf) vs. the Pacers on Sunday.

Ellis doesn't have a timetable to return, meaning Jefferson could get some decent run down the stretch for the Mavericks. In 11 previous starts this season Jefferson has posted averages of 10.5 points, 5.5 boards and 1.8 3-pointers, so he is certainly worth a look in most leagues.
Mar 29 - 12:12 PM

Monta Ellis (calf) has officially been ruled out of Sunday's game vs. the Pacers, and Richard Jefferson will draw the start at shooting guard.

Ellis had played in 237 consecutive games before the injury, so it's obviously a huge blow for his owners who are in the middle of fantasy playoffs. Ellis is off crutches, but he is still in a lot of pain and doesn't have a timetable to return. We will update his status once we know more, but the Mavericks will probably proceed with caution. Jefferson is worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of short-term value, while Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will likely see a boost in value as well with the added responsibility on offense.
Mar 29 - 11:58 AM

J.J. Barea (ankle) will not be able to play vs. the Pacers on Sunday.

The Mavericks desperately could have used Barea tonight with Monta Ellis (calf) out of commission, but instead they will have to lean on Rajon Rondo, Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Raymond Felton. This will be Barea's fourth consecutive game on the sidelines, and considering he is still experiencing soreness in his ankle, the Mavericks won't be in a hurry to rush him back.
Mar 29 - 11:54 AM

Dwight Howard (knee) will play on Sunday vs. the Wizards, but he will not play vs. the Raptors on Monday.

Howard isn't cleared to play in back-to-back sets, so there are no surprises here. Howard will be limited to 20 minutes vs. the Wizards, and even though he isn't a must-start player he should be able to produce enough points, boards and blocks to make an impact in most leagues. Just keep in mind that his free throw shooting is a major liability in standard leagues.
Mar 29 - 11:48 AM

David West (illness) and Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play vs. the Mavericks on Sunday.

West missed Thursday's game vs. the Bucks due to an allergic reaction, but he is good to go and is expected to resume his normal role with the first unit. West can safely be activated in all lineups, while Luis Scola will return to the bench and can be dropped in most leagues.
Mar 29 - 11:11 AM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons.

He has missed the last two games with a nasty laceration in his hand that required 10 stitches, but the Heat desperately need his size vs. Andre Drummond and the Pistons. Whiteside will likely be a game-time call, so his owners will have to be on alert for an update. Whiteside belongs in all lineups if he is cleared to play, while Udonis Haslem, Henry Walker and Michael Beasley will all benefit if he is unable to give it a go. For what it's worth, there is still no word on whether or not Chris Andersen will be able to play Sunday, so the Heat may have to get creative with their rotations.
Mar 29 - 9:57 AM

The Clippers signed G Lester Hudson to a 10-day contract on Sunday, and he will be available to play vs. the Celtics.

This news confirms that Nate Robinson will not be brought back for the remainder of the season, and it also had a lot to do with the fact that Jamal Crawford (calf) still has no timetable for a return. Hudson is an elite scorer and isn't shy on the offensive end, but owners in deeper leagues should see what kind of role he will have before making an add.
Mar 29 - 9:48 AM

The Mavericks are preparing for Sunday's game vs. the Pacers with the expectation that Monta Ellis (calf) will not be able to play.

"We're going to have to make up for his loss collectively," head coach Rick Carlisle said in regards to replacing Ellis. "You don't lose your best offensive player and have one guy who can step up and make the difference. The whole group's got to step forward. So we got our work cut out for us." Carlisle also said that they won't rush Ellis back from injury, so it's safe to say that he is probably looking at some time on the shelf. Rajon Rondo and Devin Harris will be busy in the backcourt vs. the Pacers, while J.J. Barea (ankle) is also hopeful that he will be able to return from injury Sunday.
Mar 29 - 9:40 AM

LaMarcus Aldridge stayed hot against the Nuggets on Saturday during a 120-114 win, making 13-of-20 from the field for 32 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer.

He carried his team on Friday in a big win at Phoenix and the Blazers have won all three games since LMA returned from a finger injury on Wednesday. They still only have the fifth-best record in the Western Conference, but they should be able to lock down the No. 4 seed because they should win their division. Aldridge and the Blazers get four games this week with three on national TV, too (Suns, Clippers and Lakers).
