DeMarcus Cousins (thigh) and Tyreke Evans (foot) are questionable to play against the Clippers on Tuesday.

Cousins tested out his thigh in practice on Monday and reported improvement, and although the injury is "still not exactly where I want it to be," Cousins anticipates playing as long as he doesn't have any setbacks. Evans could wind up being a game-time call due to his sore foot, but we should know more on his status following shootaround.

James Jones has emerged as a role player in Cleveland's rotation, and over the past four games he has put in averages 9.8 points and 2.8 three-pointers through 22 minutes of action.

Jones has seen his role increased with Shawn Marion (hip) sitting on the sidelines, but he really doesn't do much aside from drain 3-pointers. It also should be noted that his value could take a hit once Marion does return to the lineup, so while Jones is worth a look as a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, know that his time as a rotation player in Cleveland could be short-lived.

Robert Covington (elbow) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Covington has been forced to spend the past two games on the sidelines after suffering a right elbow bruise during Sunday's game against Indiana. If he is again forced to sit JaKarr Sampson will start, but with averages of just 6.8 points and 1.1 steals per game with the starting unit, he's not a viable option in most leagues. Jason Richardson and Isaiah Canaan will likely do the heavy lifting on offense.

Magic head coach James Borrego said he was unsure if Evan Fournier (hip) and Luke Ridnour (hamstring) will be available for Friday's game vs. the Kings.

If Fournier is unable to go it will be his fourth straight game on the sidelines, and with Luke Ridnour (hamstring) also looking doubtful, Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris will again be asked to log heavy minutes. Stay tuned.

Head coach Steve Clifford said that Mo Williams will remain with the starting unit upon Kemba Walker's (knee) return.

"We’re going to play them together," Clifford said. "We need to get [Walker] back as soon as we can, and then we’ll make an adjustment on the fly to play those guys together." With Williams set to remain with the starting unit, Gerald Henderson will likely head to the bench where he'll embrace a sixth man role with the team. Lance Stephenson is currently behind Henderson in the rotation, so he could find difficulty leaving the bench when Walker does return.

Kemba Walker (knee) is hopeful he'll be able to return for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

When Walker does return, head coach Steve Clifford said that he will pair him and Mo Williams in the back court, a move that would likely send Gerald Henderson back to the bench. Walker let it be known that he's excited to work alongside Williams in the starting unit. "He makes so many plays," Walker said of Williams. "He’s so smart; he knows when to shoot and when to pass. You can see it in his numbers; he’s had some huge assist games."

The x-rays taken on Devin Harris' right hand following Thursday's game vs. the Blazers came back clean, and he has been diagnosed with a bruise on the top side of his hand between the thumb and index finger.

"I was dribbling under the basket and [Robin] Lopez kind of took a whack at the ball and hit me in an awkward spot," Harris said. "There’s a little bit of pain. I can’t really move it." We'll be considering Harris on the doubtful side of the questionable tag for Friday's game against the Warriors, and if he is indeed unable to go, there will be more minutes for J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton. Stay tuned.
Mar 6 - 8:42 AM

Devin Harris hurt his right hand on Thursday and is getting X-rays.

The injury occurred late in the game and hopefully Harris is going to be OK. If he does need to miss time, J.J. Barea and maybe Raymond Felton would get more playing time. There's no need to make a speculative add, though. Harris finished with seven points, three rebounds and two steals on Thursday.
Mar 6 - 1:31 AM

Wesley Matthews suffered a torn left Achilles tendon on Thursday and will miss the rest of the season.

Ugh. Matthews was leading the NBA in 3-pointers just last month and has been a big reason why the Blazers are looking for a top-four seed in the Western Conference. He has the nickname Ironman because he had a consecutive games played streak of 250 earlier in his career and now his 142 consecutive games played streak will come to an end. This is a crippling blow for Matthews who will enter free agency coming off a bad injury. We're rooting for him to be out on the court in October. Arron Afflalo should be owned in all standard leagues.
Mar 6 - 1:13 AM

Nicolas Batum grabbed a season-high 12 boards against the Mavericks on Thursday with 15 points, six assists, one block and two 3-pointers.

A healthy Batum is going to offset the loss of Wesley Matthews (foot). Batum has suddenly become the player his fantasy owners were hoping for, averaging 12.2 points, 6.2 boards, 6.2 dimes, 1.0 blocks, 1.2 steals and 2.2 treys on 48.8 percent from the field and 100 percent from the line. If you bought low, pat yourself on the back.
Mar 6 - 1:09 AM

Arron Afflalo didn't play well against the Mavs on Thursday, making 2-of-9 from the field for six points with three rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes.

Unfortunately for the Blazers, Wesley Matthews (Achilles) is out for the season. That means Afflalo is likely looking at minutes in the 30s and he should resume Matthews' role as a floor-spacing trey man. The Blazers are second in the NBA an 3-point attempts on the season and Afflalo is a career 39 percent shooter from deep, so it makes sense for him to play big minutes. He should be owned in all standard leagues.
Mar 6 - 1:06 AM

Pau Gasol had a productive game against the Thunder on Thursday during a thrilling 108-105 win, scoring 21 points with 12 boards, two assists and one turnover.

He had his 40th double-double for the season, which leads the league (DeMarcus Cousins and Nikola Vucevic are second with 35 each). Gasol also had the pass of the night to set up E'Twaun Moore for the game-winning trey off a gorgeous touch pass. Anthony Davis is the only big man with more fantasy value than Gasol right now.
