Kevin Love (hand) is working out "vigorously" before games, and he'll likely be reevaluated next week.

Love will "likely" have images taken of his right hand next week by his New York City doctor, and it's possible he gains clearance to return at that point. It's not clear when next week Love would go for more testing, but he's running out of time to make an impact this season with 16 games remaining.

Mike Conley (Achilles) will miss at least another two weeks of action.

The Grizzlies have been sparse with the updates on Conley, and he remains without an official timetable to return. With the losses piling up in Memphis, there isn't much of an incentive to rush him back to the court, particularly if an early return could risk him further aggravating this injury. Tyreke Evans and Andrew Harrison will continue to start in that backcourt sans Conley, and Marc Gasol will flirt with a usage rate in the 30s.
Dec 18 - 4:55 PM

Goran Dragic (elbow) and Dion Waiters (illness) did not participate during shootaround, and both remain questionable to play Monday vs. Atlanta.

"I’m not sure what exactly happened," Dragic said of the elbow injury that he suffered on Saturday. "I kind of like hit it, hyper-extended it. It was fine after the game, but the next day it swelled up. We’re going to go see a doctor and see." If both Dragic and Waiters are unavailable tonight, the Heat will enter Monday's game with just eight healthy players, and guys like Josh Richardson, Wayne Ellington and Tyler Johnson would all see a big uptick in usage. Stay tuned.
Dec 18 - 2:46 PM

Myles Turner is questionable for Monday's game vs. Boston with a sore right thigh.

Turner had a sore right knee and a sore right calf earlier this season that came with a questionable tag, but he hasn't missed a game since his concussion. This is the second night of a back-to-back set after Turner logged 33 minutes vs. Brooklyn, but hopefully he continues to play through these minor ailments. If not, Domantas Sabonis would likely slide into the starting lineup and would be a strong play in all formats.
Dec 18 - 1:41 PM

Derrick Favors (eye) will not play on Monday vs. Houston.

With Favors out of the lineup against the Cavs on Saturday, Ekpe Udoh started and had a really nice line of nine points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and six blocks in 33 minutes. He's worth a long look as a short-term solution, and we should see a lot of small-ball lineups tonight as well.
Dec 18 - 12:56 PM

Lauri Markkanen (back) went through shootaround and is on track to start Monday's game vs. the 76ers.

Even with Nikola Mirotic lighting it up, it's a really good sign for Markkanen's rest-of-season outlook that he's keeping his job after a three-game absence. His minutes likely won't be as high going forward with Mirotic around, but he's a hold in fantasy leagues. Bobby Portis' minutes should also take a hit.
Dec 18 - 12:51 PM

Steven Adams (concussion) will not play on Monday vs. the Nuggets.

He's still in the concussion protocol and his status for the rest of the week is up in the air. With Adams on the shelf on Saturday, Dakari Johnson started and played 14 minutes, Patrick Patterson played 25 minutes off the bench and Nick Collison played nine. None of those guys are reliable fantasy options.
Dec 18 - 12:39 PM

Wes Johnson (left foot soreness) will not play on Monday vs. the Spurs.

This is a new issue for Johnson and it couldn't come at a worse time for the Clippers. With Danilo Gallinari (glute) still out, this means we should see a healthy dose of Sam Dekker and C.J. Williams on the wings.
Dec 18 - 12:37 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) will not play on Monday vs. the Suns.

Smith Jr. did go through the morning shootaround which suggests he's getting closer, but he will sit out his sixth straight game. When asked about Wednesday's game vs. Detroit, coach Rick Carlisle said it's "possible" DSJ returns for that one. Yogi Ferrell and J.J. Barea are both solid streaming options in a cupcake matchup vs. Phoenix.
Dec 18 - 12:31 PM

Lou Williams (right foot sprain) will not play on Monday vs. the Spurs.

Williams has been solid all season for the Clippers and has been on fire lately with December averages of 22.9 points, 7.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 triples. There's no word of the severity, so his fantasy owners should sit tight for now. Austin Rivers will be returning from his concussion tonight and is looking at more touches, while Milos Teodosic and Jawun Evans should be heavily involved in the offense as well.
Dec 18 - 12:25 PM

Austin Rivers is expected to return from his concussion on Monday vs. the Spurs.

This confirms another report from Sunday. Rivers has officially cleared the concussion protocol and the timing couldn't be any better with Lou Williams now sidelined with an ankle issue. If you can live with some inefficient shooting, Rivers will be a solid streaming option for the injury-depleted Clippers.
Dec 18 - 12:24 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's game vs. the Thunder according to coach Mike Malone.

He injured his ankle back on Friday, so it doesn't sound like he made enough progress over the weekend. With Mudiay expected to sit, Jamal Murray should see a heavy workload and Will Barton should see a bump in usage with the second unit.
