Arron Afflalo was "in a lot of pain" after a hamstring injury knocked him out of Friday's game against the Thunder.

The comment is from teammate Jameer Nelson, and it lends credibility to the idea that Afflalo could miss some time. Beno Udrih stepped up with 13 points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 36 minutes in his absence, and is worth a hard look as a short-term, speculative add with some upside. The Magic have two four-game weeks in front of them followed by a two-game stinker in the last meaningful week.

The Cavs will not rest any of their players for Sunday's game vs. the 76ers.

Anyone who was fearing a possible rest day for LeBron James against the tanking 76ers can go ahead and put those fears to rest. He may however take an early seat on the bench if the game turns into a blowout, but he's obviously a must-start guy every time he's in uniform.
Mar 29 - 3:44 PM

George Karl said he may be resting some players to experiment with some lineups as the Kings close out their regular-season, and he's talked with DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay about possibly sitting out 1-2 games.

Owners of Gay and Cousins will need to be on high alert this next week for a potential rest day. They don't have any back-to-back sets coming until April 7, so it will be hard to predict when these rest days might come. Omri Casspi will benefit in Gay's absence, while Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Derrick Williams, and Reggie Evans will all have the opportunity for extended minutes when Cousins sits. Stay tuned.
Mar 29 - 3:40 PM

Furkan Aldemir will start at center for Sunday's game vs. the Cavs, sliding Nerlens Noel over to the four-spot, and sending JaKarr Sampson to the bench.

The Sixers will go with a starting unit of Ish Smith, Robert Covington, Jerami Grant, Noel and Aldemir. This will be Aldemir's second start of the season, but the last time he entered the starting lineup he failed to score through 20 minutes of action while adding just five rebounds and three blocks. He can remain on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.
Mar 29 - 3:22 PM

Kevin Garnett (illness, knee) will not play Sunday vs. the Pelicans.

Garnett has reportedly been sick for the past four days, and unable to eat, so he'll remain on the sidelines for Sunday's game. With Garnett unavailable, Gorgui Dieng will continue to get all the run he can handle, while Andreian Payne will see his minutes in the 20s. Anthony Bennett will return to action today, so he'll also have the opportunity to get into the rotation, although his minutes will likely be very limited after spending the past month on the sidelines.
Mar 29 - 3:09 PM

Ricky Rubio (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans.

He was doubtful heading into this one so there shouldn't be any surprises here. Zach LaVine and Lorenzo Brown will get all the run they can handle, with LaVine offering the most upside.
Mar 29 - 3:02 PM

Anthony Bennett (ankle) will make his return Sunday vs. New Orleans.

The Timberwolves have been absolutely devastated by injuries, so Bennett will provide the team with some much-needed frontcourt depth. That being said, he's been out since Feb. 20, so he'll more than likely have his minutes held in check today as his conditioning isn't likely where it needs to be. Until he's logging major minutes for Minnesota, he belongs on the waiver wire in standard leagues.
Mar 29 - 2:57 PM

Robbie Hummel (hand) will be available to play Sunday vs. the Pelicans.

Hummel has been out since Jan. 25 with a broken hand, so he'll more than likely have his minutes limited today. He'll give the Wolves some much-needed backcourt depth, but until he becomes a major part of the rotation, he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.
Mar 29 - 2:54 PM

If Jamal Crawford continues to make progress in his recovery from a deep calf bruise, there's a chance he'll be able to return to action on April 7 vs. the Lakers.

That tentative return date would have Crawford missing at least the next five games, ruling him out for all of this week, so he can safely remain on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues. J.J. Redick and Matt Barnes remain the primary beneficiaries with Crawford out.
Mar 29 - 2:31 PM

Deron Williams (illness) will play Sunday vs. the Lakers.

Williams struggled badly in his last outing, but he'll look to bounce-back today with a very favorable matchup against the Lakers. Go ahead and get him active, and those that were expecting big minutes for Jarret Jack should probably temper their expectations.
Mar 29 - 2:25 PM

Ed Davis (rest) will not play Sunday vs. the Nets.

With Davis and Carlos Boozer being given the day off, Tarik Black, Ryan Kelly, and Jordan Hill will all have the opportunity for some extended minutes. Kelly is good for some 3-pointers, while Hill can put up some points and rebounds, while Black can be viewed as a rebounding and shot blocking specialist in extremely deep leagues.
Mar 29 - 2:19 PM

Carlos Boozer (rest) will sit out Sunday's game vs. the Nets.

Despite being healthy, Boozer has spent the past three games on the sidelines as the Lakers try to improve their odds in the draft lottery. There's a chance he returns to the lineup on Monday vs. the 76ers, but at this point in the fantasy season, Boozer belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues.
