Kobe Bryant (ankle) played on Friday in the Lakers' 103-100 home loss to the Wizards, scoring 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting (1-of-2 3PTs, 4-of-7 FTs) with four rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in 38 minutes.

It was a pretty nice night for fantasy purposes outside of his six turnovers, but watching Kobe stay in the backcourt to argue with a ref while Trevor Ariza walked uncovered into his seventh 3-point shot was a metaphor for the night. The good news is that he looks good to go going forward.

The Hawks have reached an agreement with Kent Bazemore for a deal worth $70 million over four years.

Jul 1 - 10:48 PM

The Knicks and Joakim Noah have officially agreed on a four-year, $72 million deal.

The framework has been decided for about 22 hours, but the parties met in Orlando to come to a more formal agreement -- Noah won't sign the deal until at least July 7. This is a lot of money to give to an oft-injured, 31-year-old center. On top of only playing in 29 games, Noah turned in awful shooting numbers of 38.3 percent from the field and 48.9 percent from the line. The change of scenery helps, but he's still not a great fantasy option.
Jul 1 - 10:41 PM

The Suns have agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with unrestricted free agent Jared Dudley.

He's back. Dudley had his career-high 12.7 points per game in Phoenix during 2011-12 and has seen a downward trend on his stats. He has been relatively durable in that time, missing just 14 games in the last four seasons combined. Dudley is 30 years old, so he's past his prime. He should get minutes as a stretch four with some time at the three, but it likely won't be too much because of their rookie power forwards, Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss.
Jul 1 - 10:15 PM

The Pelicans have an agreement with E'Twaun Moore on a four-year, $34 million deal.

Moore had himself a really nice season as a combo guard and stepped up while the Bulls dealt with injuries. He had by far his best year from an efficiency standpoint, making career-highs 48.1 percent from the field and 45.2 percent from deep for his 7.5 points per game. The 27-year-old guard should provide some depth to the second unit, but doesn't have much fantasy value.
Jul 1 - 10:07 PM

Unrestricted free agent Dwyane Wade is fielding offers in the $20 million-per-season range, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

According to the report, the Bulls, Mavericks, Nuggets and Bucks have "started a courtship process" that has included offers in length of two and three years -- the Bulls and Nuggets have been the most aggressive. The report adds Wade was "deeply angered" with Miami's initial offer, which has caused him to explore the market. He's overseas right now, so it should take a few days before a Wade agreement is reached.
Jul 1 - 9:46 PM

The Knicks have made a four-year offer to unrestricted free agent Courtney Lee, but he "has a variety of suitors and is working through the options," according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Lee is going to be 31 when the season starts, so him getting a four-year deal would be a really nice get. If he does want to go to a contending team, those teams might only be willing to go for three years. It sounds like his deal could be done in the next day or so with the Wolves, 76ers, Hornets, and Kings interested.
Jul 1 - 8:42 PM

Free agent center Justin Hamilton has agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with the Nets.

He's been overseas after getting some run with the Wolves back in the 2014-15. His fantasy owners in very deep leagues right remember him turning in April averages of 8.0 points, 5.3 boards, 2.0 blocks and 1.4 steals on 50.0 percent from the field. If the Nets trade Brook Lopez, he might get run.
Jul 1 - 8:30 PM

The Bulls met with unrestricted free agent Rajon Rondo on Friday.

With Mike Conley and Jeremy Lin off the board, Rondo should have more desperate suitors. Plus, the Nets were expected to go after Rondo, but they have agreed to terms with Lin. The former NBA champ and 2011-12 league leader in triple-doubles obviously won't be going back to the PG-needy Mavs, so he could be filling in for Derrick Rose.
Jul 1 - 7:42 PM

The Grizzlies and Mike Conley have agreed in principle to a five-year, $153 million deal.

ESPN's Marc Stein adds the two parties are still working on details, but it's the richest contract in the history of the NBA. Conley is going to be 29 years old to start his deal, so the fourth and fifth years will be way past his prime. He has seen his games played dropped in each of the last three seasons with a drop in scoring output for each of his last two. For fantasy, the drop in overall productivity knocks him out of the early rounds in standard leagues.
Jul 1 - 6:57 PM

Dwight Howard has reached an agreement on a three-year, $70.5 million deal with the Hawks.

Dwight wanted $24 million per season, and he just about got it with his hometown team. This news also means Al Horford is heading out of town to likely the Thunder or Celtics. As for Dwight, he'll look to revitalize his career after things fell apart dating back to when he left the Magic after 2011-12. The good news for the Hawks is that this is only a three-year deal.
Jul 1 - 6:38 PM

Jeff Green has reached a one-year, $15 million deal with the Magic.

The Magic put a priority on cap space to sign new guys, but so far they have Green, Jodie Meeks and D.J. Augustin. The good news on this deal is that it's only for one year and Meeks is also just for one year, so they'll have money next year. Green is going to compete with Aaron Gordon for playing time.
