Tyreke Evans had 19 points, eight assists, two steals and one block in Sunday's loss to the 76ers, but he was sick all night and didn't play in the final eight minutes of the game.

Evans "spent part of halftime vomiting," and at least his illness explains his four-point dud on Saturday. The Kings don't play again until Wednesday vs. the Warriors, which should give him enough time to recuperate.

Klay Thompson scored 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Warriors' 97-87 Game 2 win over the Pelicans on Monday.

Thompson and Stephen Curry (22 points, four boards, six assists, three treys) continued to play like one of the most electric backcourts of a generation, even if Curry did get dinged on his efficiency a bit with 9-of-21 makes from the field and five turnovers. Remember when Mark Jackson called this the best shooting backcourt of all time? That might be the most insightful thing he has ever said.
Apr 21 - 1:37 AM

Draymond Green scored 14 points on 4-of-12 shooting (including two threes) with 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block in Monday's Game 2 win over the Pelicans.

Green looked hobbled at times and that's something for folks to keep an eye on, and the Warriors will want to waste no time dispatching the Pelicans so he can get some time to rest up. Otherwise, it was a podium-worthy game for the heart and soul of the Warriors.
Apr 21 - 1:33 AM

Anthony Davis scored 26 points on 9-of-22 shooting (8-of-8 FTs) with 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks over 45 minutes in Monday's Game 2 loss to the Warriors.

Davis is carrying his team and there are certainly some warts but in terms of overall development, this playoff experience has been an overwhelming positive for him. He'll look to force the series back to Oakland with a win in Game 3 on Thursday.
Apr 21 - 1:27 AM

Eric Gordon scored 23 points on 9-of-19 shooting (including five threes) in Monday's Game 2 loss to the Warriors.

Gordon has exceeded expectations for this series and that's a nice little subplot in New Orleans considering his start with the franchise was basically terrible. He's a big reason the games have been close.
Apr 21 - 1:25 AM

Tyreke Evans played through a knee injury in Monday's Game 2 loss to the Warriors, scoring 16 points on 4-of-13 shooting (1-of-3 3PTs, 7-of-12 FTs) with 10 rebounds, seven assists and one block in 41 minutes.

Considering the injury, Evans played very well even if he had some of his trademark drive-into-nowhere forays toward the hoop. His knee injury should be a point of concern for the rest of the series.
Apr 21 - 1:23 AM

Nikola Mirotic (left quad strain) had a limp following Monday's game against the Bucks

He also had swelling in his knee and may have suffered a concussion. Mirotic had treatment and was able to limp around under his own power. He said he's a little concerned about his leg, but the good news is that the Bulls are off until Thursday. If he's out, Taj Gibson, Mike Dunleavy and Jimmy Butler will play a little more.
Apr 20 - 11:15 PM

Jimmy Butler put the Bulls on his back during a 91-82 win over the Bucks on Monday, scoring a playoff career-high 31 points with nine rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Nobody else on the Bulls played well for the entire game on offense, but Butler came to the rescue. He put the whole arsenal on display tonight and the Bucks had no answer for him. Also, the Bulls played Nikola Mirotic at the four more, so that gave Butler more minutes compared to his 35 in Game 1. He'll likely log over 40 in Game 3 on Thursday.
Apr 20 - 11:09 PM

Zaza Pachulia was ejected on Monday for two technical fouls.

The first one a little excessive by the refs and second came because he got into it with Nikola Mirotic. Pachulia isn't going to be suspended for this infraction and should still start for Game 3. There will be more minutes going to John Henson the rest of the way tonight. Zaza finished with seven points, six boards, one steal and two blocks in 23 minutes.
Apr 20 - 10:22 PM

Tyreke Evans (knee) will play against the Warriors on Monday.

With Jrue Holiday (leg) out, the Pelicans are going to need plenty out of Evans. He is likely less than 100 percent and needed some treatment before this game. Evans only scored one point in Game 1 and will look to bounce back.

Jrue Holiday (leg) will not play against the Warriors on Monday.

There should be more minutes going to Norris Cole with Jrue out of the lineup. The Pelicans gave Holiday 21 minutes in Game 1, so they're probably regretting that. Holiday should be considered questionable to play in Game 3.

Chandler Parsons (knee) is extremely sore on Monday and could be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

The good news is that his knee didn't swell up like it did last time. Parsons had some swelling in his knee following his injury on Apr. 2, so at least this aggravation isn't as bad. If Parsons can't go, the Mavs are really going to have a tough time containing James Harden because of all the fouls he'll draw. Richard Jefferson would start and one would think Al-Farouq Aminu would get more minutes because of the matchup. We'll have an update on Parsons tomorrow.
