Nikola Vucevic (concussion) returned to action on Saturday, scoring 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds with two steals and one block in 39 minutes.

It's safe to say his concussion didn't limit him. Vuc's late-season injury may dull some owners' memories when they reflect on this season, but he's proven repeatedly that he has the ability to average a big double-double with a block or two per game. His fantasy value is buoyed by the addition of a few assists (1.8), solid FG shooting (52.2 percent) and adequate FT shooting (68.3 percent). Don't sleep on him in 2013-14.

Eric Bledsoe was terrific against the Knicks during a 99-90 win on Saturday with 25 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

He carved up the Knicks and they didn't have anyone to cover him. Bledsoe has not been affected by the return of Isaiah Thomas, averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.8 triples. He can be viewed as a top-10 fantasy shooting guard.
Dec 20 - 4:08 PM

Isaiah Thomas scored 22 points against the Knicks during a win on Saturday, making 7-of-12 from the field for 22 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.

He played 32 minutes and didn't turn the ball over. The Suns have a handful of big runs while Thomas is on the floor and he has now played at least 26 minutes in four of his five games since returning from injury. Thomas can fill it up with triples and free throws, which is enough to keep him owned in standard leagues despite the lower playing time.
Dec 20 - 3:59 PM

Jose Calderon matched his season high of 21 points against the Suns on Saturday with five rebounds, three assists and five 3-pointers.

Finally. Calderon didn't make more than one triple in any of his previous five games and he didn't make above 47 percent from the field in any of those games either. The Knicks should give him more triples these days, so his owners can probably expect him to get it going in standard leagues.
Dec 20 - 3:42 PM

Wes Johnson (ankle) did not practice on Saturday and expects to play on Sunday against the Kings.

He suffered a mild tweak on Friday, but he still played 28 minutes and looked OK. Johnson has consistently seen playing time, but he is not getting many shots. His fantasy value will have a lot to do with his defense, so there is very little upside. He's still worth a look as a specialist.
Dec 20 - 3:31 PM

Chris Bosh (calf) will not play against the Celtics on Sunday.

He is also questionable to play on Tuesday and on Christmas. Bosh could be out until 2015, so his fantasy owners should plan on using someone else this week. With Bosh out, Shawne Williams, Luol Deng, Udonis Haslem, Chris Andersen and Hassan Whiteside will benefit. Although, Dwyane Wade will do just about everything, so there's very little fantasy impact as far as pickups go.
Dec 20 - 3:14 PM

Landry Fields was cleared for a concussion and was at practice on Saturday.

He needed stitches to his head from Friday and it appears he will be fine. Fields plays about 20 minutes per night and only has value in extremely deep leagues. James Johnson doesn't get a bump in fantasy value.
Dec 20 - 2:16 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.

This is a little bit of a surprise considering he was ruled out until a few hours before on Friday. Still, Durant's injury was scary and the Thunder are still going to have Russell Westbrook. Reggie Jackson will likely benefit most while the rest of the wing guys just help out.
Dec 20 - 2:09 PM

C.J. Watson is questionable for Saturday against the Nuggets with an illness.

He was probable as of Friday with a sinus infection, so a downgrade doesn't sound promising. Watson would be looking at a chance to start, but he hasn't been involved in the offense much since his return. If he's out, Donald Sloan would be worth a look.
Dec 20 - 2:02 PM

Brook Lopez (back) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Detroit Pistons.

The fact that he was ruled out so quick is a little worrying, but Lopez has been doing some conditioning work and even did some light basketball activities on Saturday. Lopez is expected to be evaluated on a daily basis so we should know more soon, while Mason Plumlee will continue to be a must-start player until he returns.
Dec 20 - 1:53 PM

Deron Williams was diagnosed with a low-grade calf strain after an MRI on Saturday, and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.

This is good news, and the Nets are optimistic that he won't miss too much time. Williams obviously didn't practice on Saturday, but he is expected to be evaluated daily. Check back before tip-off on Sunday, but don't count on him playing in this one. Jarrett Jack would be the main beneficiary if Williams sits, and is worth a look in most leagues.

Zach Randolph (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.

This comes out of nowhere, and we just learned that he had an MRI, but luckily it came back clean. Randolph didn't practice Saturday, and there is some swelling in his right knee. He looks like he could be in serious danger of missing Sunday's game, and if he sits Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos would pick up some extra playing time. Stay tuned.
