The Knicks are still hoping Rasheed Wallace (foot) can return during the postseason.

Wallace has reportedly been making some progress and was spotted doing shooting drills on Sunday, and his rehab will step up "even more this week with shooting drills," but it's not clear what his timetable is currently. He's no longer using crutches or in a walking boot, but he remains out indefinitely.

Moe Harkless (ankle) and Ed Davis will start on Saturday vs. the Pacers.

Dec 10 - 6:58 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) is back in the starting lineup for Saturday against the Nuggets.

He missed Thursday due to a "right ankle sprain" from Wednesday, but he was on thin ice. Mudiay will really need to play well tonight to get his minutes back. Jameer Nelson takes a hit here.
Dec 10 - 6:57 PM

Josh Richardson (ankle) is warming up with the intention to play against the Bulls on Saturday.

As coach Erik Spoelstra said on Friday, he'll be limited. "He won't play his normal slot of minutes, I'll bring him off the bench. It's much needed," Spoelstra said. Richardson is worth a pickup in most leagues now that he's back. Rodney McGruder and Wayne Ellington take hits here.
Dec 10 - 6:45 PM

Hassan Whiteside (knee, hip) is warming up with the intention to play against the Bulls on Saturday.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said Whiteside is banged up from last night. Last night, coach Spo benched Whiteside for his lack of energy, so maybe this injury is part of it -- Whiteside said he was fine and it was about the Cavs scoring ability. For now, expect him to be a go.
Dec 10 - 6:40 PM

Moe Harkless (ankle) will be active to face the Pacers on Saturday.

All signs are pointing to him being in the starting lineup. Coach Terry Stotts added he's not looking to change the starting lineup, so that's something to keep in mind. Evan Turner and Allen Crabbe lose some of their luster as punt plays in DFS. Harkless is a hold in almost all leagues.
Dec 10 - 6:02 PM

J.R. Smith will start with Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson against the Hornets on Saturday.

Smith is back after a couple games off from his knee soreness. He was really struggling before the injury, so hopefully the time off has helped him. He's a borderline add in standard leagues.
Dec 10 - 5:51 PM

Bismack Biyombo (shoulder) will start against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Well, the Magic have changed their tune. Biyombo is going to play with some soreness and with a harness, so he's not 100 percent. If he's able to avoid injury, he should be busy. This takes Stephen Zimmerman off the board in DFS and also hurts guys like Serge Ibaka, Jeff Green and Aaron Gordon slightly.
Dec 10 - 5:47 PM

Jeff Green (ankle) is available to play vs. Denver on Saturday.

His ankle tweak didn't look too bad, so he may not be limited. Green should actually play a lot tonight, so he's on the board as a DFS punt. He doesn't have much value in standard leagues.
Dec 10 - 5:45 PM

Nikola Vucevic (back) and Bismack Biyombo (shoulder) are out against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Well, coach Frank Vogel may actually have to go small. The Magic have rolled with a three-man big rotation, but now he's left with just Serge Ibaka -- he should play a too. Expect to see a lot of Aaron Gordon at the four, which should open up minutes for Jeff Green and the bench wings. Stephen Zimmerman should also get some burn as a dart throw tonight.
Dec 10 - 5:42 PM

Wilson Chandler (right hip soreness) will not play against the Magic on Saturday.

This is the same hip that kept him out all of last season and needed surgery, so this isn't a minor thing. That said, it's just soreness, so don't panic on him. Chandler has played way too many minutes because he's been the best and most consistent player. With Chandler out of the lineup, Kenneth Faried may be back in the mix while Darrell Arthur and Juancho Hernagomez get boosts, as well. Expect bigger usage rates for Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in the second unit.
Dec 10 - 4:43 PM

Derrick Rose went through a full practice on Saturday.

More importantly, coach Jeff Hornacek said Rose looked good out there. Rose said he expects to play on Sunday against the Lakers, so this news coincides with that timetable. Rose would likely start and sounds like he could play 30 minutes. Brandon Jennings would move to the bench and be looking at minutes in the mid-20s.
