Joakim Noah (foot) has suffered a setback, according to Tom Thibodeau, and he's unlikely to play vs. the Raptors on Tuesday.

Given the chronic nature of Noah's injury, and the Bulls' need to have him healthy for the playoffs, we wouldn't be surprised to see another extended absence. Nazr Mohammed and Carlos Boozer will continue to play heavy minutes until Noah and/or Taj Gibson (knee) are able to suit up for the Bulls, who play four games this week.

Stephen Curry scored 33 points during a 143-94 win over the Bulls on Friday with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and four 3-pointers.

He went on one of his nuclear runs with 26 points in the second quarter to get him to 30 before half. Today was his 21st 20-point quarter and just his seventh 30-point half of his career. Curry could be headed for more scoring because he has a whopping 38.9 usage rate and a 70.0 TS% in his 169 minutes without Kevin Durant (ankle) this season. He is fantasy's top player in standard leagues this year.

Jordan Bell was outstanding in his first NBA start against the Bulls on Friday, scoring seven points with six rebounds, four assists, two steals and six blocks in 26 minutes.

This man is such a beast and the Bulls have to regret the 38th pick for cash. During the pre-game intros, Bell also rubbed his hands together to indicate money and he explained it after the game. "I wanted to see how cash considerations was doing over there," Bell said. He has a ridiculous +28.1 net rating and shines in almost any opportunity. If this man ever got 20 minutes per game, fantasy owners would be running to the waiver wire. However, Draymond Green (rest) is likely back on Saturday.
Nov 25 - 1:41 AM

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Kevin Durant (ankle) is doubtful to play on Saturday vs. the Pelicans.

This means the Warriors weren't just being cautious on the front end of a back-to-back set. Kerr added that Durant probably shouldn't have played against OKC on Wednesday, so maybe he tweaked the injury. If KD is held out on Saturday, his next chance to play would be on Monday vs. the Kings. Look for Omri Casspi to pick up another start vs. the Pelicans.
Nov 25 - 1:05 AM

Nikola Jokic had a feast in a 104-92 win over Memphis on Friday, racking up 28 points with 13 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, two triples and five turnovers.

Jokic hit 11-of-17 shots, but struggled a bit from the line (4-of-6 FTs). He was on the injury report after tweaking his right ankle on Wednesday, but his status for this game wasn't in any real doubt and it's a great sign that he played 36 minutes. Jokic's usage rate climbs from 20.1 to 24.0 with Paul Millsap (wrist) off the court, so his fantasy owners can expect more monster lines like this one going forward.
Nov 25 - 12:39 AM

Marc Gasol dished out a career-high 14 assists in Friday's loss to Denver, finishing with 15 points, six rebounds, two steals and one triple in 38 minutes.

Gasol has been running the offense quite a bit with Mike Conley (Achilles) banged up and has now recorded four or more assists in each of his last six games. He hit 5-of-13 shots and 4-of-4 free throws, and he was forced to play 38 minutes with Brandan Wright (groin) missing another game. After a hot start to the season, Memphis has now lost seven straight games. If the Grizzlies don't turn their season around, Gasol will be a popular name at the trade deadline.
Nov 24 - 11:57 PM

JaMychal Green hit all nine of his shots and scored a season-high 21 points in Friday's 104-92 loss to the Nuggets.

This was the fourth game of his career with 21 or more points, so don't get used to offensive explosions like these. Green added three boards, one assist and two steals in 32 minutes, giving him averages of 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.0 triples since he returned from his ankle injury on Nov. 15. With Brandan Wright (groin) on the shelf, Green will likely continue to see 30+ minutes which makes him worth owning as a low-end big.
Nov 24 - 11:50 PM

Despite Russell Westbrook's 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, the Thunder lost a 99-98 game to the Pistons on Friday night.

Westbrook finished with three steals, five turnovers, and just one 3-pointer (out of 10) on an abysmal 10-of-29 from the floor. The triple-double outings are old news at this point, but OKC figuring out a way to win down the stretch is a very real and evolving storyline. Westbrook, who came into Friday night shooting just 32.1% from distance, might want to think about using his explosive athleticism to get to the cup more often.
Nov 24 - 11:46 PM

Victor Oladipo (bruised right knee) is questionable to play against the Celtics on Saturday.

He banged his knee in the fourth quarter and went to the locker room for just a couple minutes. Oladipo did walk to the table and it looked like he was going to check in because he wasn't in warmups or anything, but maybe he just wanted to talk to coach Nate McMillan. This doesn't sound serious and there's no word of him being re-evaluated. If he can't go, Lance Stephenson, Cory Joseph and Bojan Bogdanovic will likely pick up the extra wing minutes.
Nov 24 - 11:46 PM

Fred VanVleet erupted for 16 points, five rebounds, four dimes, three steals, two 3-pointers and no turnovers over 28.5 minutes in Friday's loss to the Pacers.

VanVleet shot 6-of-10 from the field and was plus-18 in his minutes, and the young point guard has really shown something since Delon Wright (shoulder) hit the sidelines. Per TSN's Josh Lewenberg: In five games since Wright was injured, VanVleet has averaged 10 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and just 1.2 turnovers on 49% shooting and is a plus-44. Not bad, kid. Not bad.
Nov 24 - 11:36 PM

Tyus Jones was a bright spot for the Wolves on Friday with eight points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals in 33 minutes, making 3-of-6 shots in a loss to the visiting Heat.

Jones started the second half with Aaron Brooks struggling and Jeff Teague (sore Achilles) out of commission. Teague's injury came out of the blue a few days after a 22-point, 11-assist performance, so presumably he's just day-to-day. Most owners should leave Jones on the waiver wire unless that injury assessment changes, but he's a viable 'just-in-case' pickup in deep leagues.
Nov 24 - 11:25 PM

Jonas Valanciunas bottomed out with six points, five rebounds, three turnovers and nothing else in just 14 minutes of action on Friday in a loss to the Pacers.

Woof. Valanciunas took a seat in favor of Pascal Siakam to begin the second half, and JV has now played 20 or fewer minutes in six of Toronto's last seven outings. At this point, anyone expecting something drastically different than what we've seen needs to reexamine the evidence. So long as he's in Toronto, Valanciunas will not be worth the headache. We'll see how the Raptors play their hand on Saturday vs. Dewayne Dedmon and Atlanta.
